I just bought The Show 26 in the last gasp of the summer sale. Damn it, man. I mean, it's been worth it. But still.

The past few days I was trying to find the cheapest way to get The Show 25 or 26. I like getting it this way!

People will find a reason to moan because… well, people 😖 but that’s a good month of essential right there!

MLB The Show 26 may be given a try, it’s another sport where a bloke hits a ball and cheers when it moves, so I’ll try to fit in a bit with my bloke energy and download it.

After seeing Banana Ball online, that’s the game I want! 😂

Already own the others, but happy to give this baseball malarkey a good ol’ college try!

I take it it’s like Wii Sports but without the intuitive inputs, or maybe it’ll allow me to fashion a stick and some duct tape to my Dualsense and get that vibe going!

Who knows?! But I’ll find out once I download it!

Chained echoes is an amazing throwback jrpg. It’s much better than sea of stars.

I'm going to replay Sniper Elite: Resistance, I didn't like it as much as the one in Northern France or the one where I got to kill Hitler but it did have it's moments and if people are talking about it in the forums too then perhaps it will add to the discussion. That's the case for many Plus+ games. Wobbly life perhaps too, it was good, very grindy, fun, I think Parents with children would like it.

Edit: And now I curious about Chained Echoes because I've only tried Sea of Stars and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The former was a breath of fresh air, I'd been trying new genres. The latter had good writing, interesting characters, combat and exploration with depth but I had to wait three-hours to reach a save point. Got softlocked by a boss, for even longer. Then was told it was part of it's charm by it's fans, ever since I've wondered if every game like that has no manual save or if I'll be up all night fighting bosses in a row until I reach one.

Not bad, will put them all in the will play at some point list.

@guacguacboo I second this. To some extent, Chained Echoes was what I wanted from Sea of Stars. The latter is a gorgeous game with cool gameplay but I thought the characters and writing left so much to be desired.

Chained Echoes on the other hand captures the vibes of old JRPGs so much better. It's far more concise and its script has a heartfelt charm.

VERY pleased with MLB & Sniper Elite. Good month for me, personally!

Great month IMO. I'll play The Show 26 for sure, and both Chained Echoes and Wobbly Life look promising to me. I'll take it.

I might also try a game of rounders and a few gonads will also be shot (I will be aiming for the head, honest).

Chained Echoes!! I am eyeing this one for a while!! Sniper Elite Resistance is interesting too!

Not surprising that PushSquare made a review for the „mature“ Sniper Elite, where you can shoot on balls, but not for „children games“ like Chained Echoes.

I played Chained Echoes a couple of years ago and highly recommend it. If you wish turn-based RPGs were setup in a way that all of your skills actually matter, this is that game.

I'll agree, Chained Echoes is great. I've been playing it this summer on Switch. I don't know that I like it better than Sea of Stars, which many have said, but I think there's plenty of room for both of them.

MLB 26 is a nice add. I've been itching to play a baseball game again - I wish Super Mega Baseball hadn't kind of lost its way, I adored the first one.
