Keeper PS5

Psychonauts and Brutal Legend developer Double Fine is porting one of its lesser-known titles to PS5, seemingly with a view to launching it in the very near future.

Keeper, the game where you play as a lighthouse, looks to be coming to PS5.

This morning, a new set of Trophies for the game appeared on Exophase, and the reliable and well-connected leaker NateTheHate2 has stated the PS5 port is a State of Play announcement. The latest PlayStation livestream begins in just a matter of hours, so we should have confirmation of the PS5 version shortly.

Since the Trophy list is already live and this is just a port job, I expect Keeper will launch on PS5 either today or within the next few weeks.

When it regained its independence, Double Fine retained the rights to all its IPs and games. Therefore, it doesn't need Microsoft's permission or backing to make a PS5 port of Keeper.

Originally released for Xbox Series X|S and PC in October 2025, the game was well received, with a Metacritic rating of 80. Our sister site awarded Keeper an 8/10 at the time.

In the game, you play as a lighthouse. "On an island in a long-lost sea, a forgotten lighthouse stands dormant in the shadow of a distant mountain peak. As withering tendrils spread and coalesce, it awakens. Taken with a mysterious sense of purpose and joined by a spirited seabird, it embarks upon a heartening tale of unlikely companionship, an odyssey of mystifying metamorphosis, and an unexpected journey towards the center of the island, into realms beyond understanding."

I'll update this article once we have official confirmation from the State of Play livestream later today. Have you been wanting to play Keeper on PS5? Let us know in the comments below.
