7+ PS5 Trailers Worth Watching from the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2026 1

We live in a world where E3 is dead and approximately four billion different weekly livestreams have appeared in its place.

Seriously, at what point are there too many of these things?

The Future Games Show at Gamescom 2026 did have a handful of worthwhile PS5 trailers, though.

Obviously, if you’d rather watch the full thing – hosted by Resident Evil Requiem’s Nick Apostolides and Angela Sant'Albano – then you can do so through here.

For now, here are a few games that jumped out to me:

Police Simulator

There is no shortage of simulator games on the PS5, but Astragon’s efforts tend to be a cut above. Fresh from Firefighting Simulator comes Police Simulator, a title which really needs no real description, does it?

Guns of Eschaton

Not a new announcement, but I tend to think Guns of Eschaton looks pretty good. It’s the work of the late, great Viktor Antonov – the art director behind a ton of classics, like Half-Life and Dishonored. This trailer teases co-op for the title.

Spine: This Is Gun-Fu

I’m surprised it’s taken so long for John Wick’s trademark “gun-fu” to filter into the games industry, but Spine looks like it’s got the concept nailed – at least in this mostly CG trailer. The game’s coming out in Spring 2027.

Graveyard Keeper 2

After giving away the first game, for free, to all players on the PS5, there must be an audience for Graveyard Keeper 2. As the name implies, this is a tycoon title where your charged with managing your own cemetery. It’s launching amid the madness next month, on 22nd September.

Neon Abyss 2

When I first watched this Neon Abyss 2 trailer, I thought I’d accidentally set my YouTube to 2x speed. Nope, it turns out this title is just bringing maximum carnage, complete with an unlimited amount of screen shake, to the PS5 later this year.

Warhammer 40k: Boltgun 2

There are a billion games coming out, but boomer shooter sequel Warhammer 40k: Boltgun 2 must get on with the show. It’s launching on 14th October for PS5.

Crimson Moon

I think we’re all pretty familiar with Crimson Moon at this point, the promising gothic action RPG from ProbablyMonsters. This one’s just days away at this point – it’s out on 1st September.

Nothing mind blowing, then, but some good trailers and a few release dates – a decent little broadcast, as far as I’m concerned.
