@herbert7890 mate my tv has a diagnosis mode which gives live technical info on screen on various visual aspects and I can confirm it is 4K. Maybe your tv isn’t up to scratch or maybe it’s not set up right
I think at this stage 60fps and 4K are a must and ray tracing is a bonus if it’s there. So I ain’t mad at all cos the two essentials of graphics are there
@KundaliniRising333 it’s a half price at launch game that goes for ten hours. That’s why there’s been no hype, cos it’s not a full length game. It’s rare there’s ever hype for such small games. Unless it’s a huge AAA series for people with more money than sense lol
I played Dishonoured 1 and 2 and that’s why I know I’ll hate Deathloop cos I hated those. That and it fully looks like you’re killing mannequins lmao. Thank god for no questions refunds cos I hated both Dishonoured games
I’ll pay a couple of buck ($10 or so Australian) to upgrade Uncharted 4 but I’m not paying for a whole new game. And that last So called Uncharted without Nathan Drake wasn’t that good. It’s a much poorer version than Nathan’s so I wouldn’t be interested in an upgrade for that at all
If I saw myself in clothes like that I’d have to kick my own ass. They look like they’re wearing something Zoolander would wear during fashion week 😂😂😂
Hard pass
The wolf among us. But I’m waiting on Resident evil Village on Ps5 from eBay. Got it for an absolute steal preowned. About 40% of the price for a brand new copy at the cheapest retail price I found. Gotta be happy with a relatively new game for less than half the price 😉
Personally I’m not interested in it at all. I only play the solo campaign and DLC skins, guns, vehicles etc aren’t something I’m interested in as I said. Extra DLC solo campaign mission expansions a la Ghost of Tsushima Iki island expansion and Metro Exodus’s Sam’s story and the two colonels etc I’m absolutely interested in. Anything short of that is just fluff
It’s cool for people who haven’t played it/don’t have it but for everyone else they mostly just wont bother buying it again. No big deal though, if you want it then buy it if you don’t then don’t. The writer of the article is obviously trying to create a storm in a teacup by using the do whatever it takes to get views approach to writing
If it’s VR then cool but it’s kind of like, well I love those core games and I don’t want different ones. They’re literally the reason I and a massive portion of their customers buy PlayStation consoles. I want more of that not something that isn’t that. Right off the bat my “spidey sense” is tingling that they’re referring to online, co-op or multiplayer based games. Which would be ***** if Sony is starting to dip their toes into that pool
@Shepherd_Tallon both the slim and the pro came out within a month of each other pretty close to being spot on 3 years after the Ps4 launched. I’ll be getting the pro model to replace my launch console for sure though. My launch is awesome, it’s just moar power haha
The monthly PS plus games are so bad that a selection like this months is viewed as good simply because it’s an improvement on the absolute tripe we’re normally served up. What did we get? An old Hitman game, a horrible predator game and a throw away 5 minute time filler game. 6/10 which is a D
@Flaming_Kaiser I’m waiting patiently on Far cry 6, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 (The wife has a Series X and it’s free day one on gamepass), Chernobylite, probably Hogwarts legacy, HFW of course, for Cyberpunk to be finally fixed and released on Ps5 and the future new Skyrim and Fallout games (the solo offline games, not the online crap). Oh and Starfield
@Flaming_Kaiser Yeh that is weird. Well I mean I’ve never even seen that before. If it’s been done, which it quite possibly could have been definitely not on a major major AAA like this
@Flaming_Kaiser yeh I did for sure. Brilliant game that one. Not so much into the bash type games unless it’s done perfectly and is story HEAVY. Which HZD clearly is. I never buy anything day one as I give it time for the bugs to be fixed. Usually 3 months, but with the new Horizon I’ll cut that to one month as I’m sure being Sony it will be released in good shape and I just can’t wait another 3 months haha. The other game never played it
@Flaming_Kaiser agreed. Can’t stand the inanity of AC games. If you’re gunna be that long at least be enthralling. Unfortunately though Dead Space is only just over half the time you mentioned. To be clear (and I’ll edit my comment) when I say a 20 hour plus game I’m referring to the time it takes to complete the main quest line and the side missions only. I don’t have the time nor the inclination to watch YouTube videos so I can find all the collectibles etc to get platinums
I’ll be buying this, much like the new resident evil but not for full price. When it’s around half price or less. Games that are significantly under 20 hours (to beat the main quest line and the side missions) aren’t worth full price
@munstre keep following this story. As more and more tests and side by sides are done you will see that it does. You reduce the cooling centre’s size it makes more heat. It’s fairly obvious
@get2sammyb perfectly timed as it’s winter here atm haha. But yeh, like I said it will only be an issue during peak summer for long sessions. Most users don’t game that long or will be smart enough to realise when it’s that boiling hot to have breaks. I only see this being an issue with negative consequences to a tiny percentage of users. Still, it’s not the direction I like seeing being taken, nor would any user
In summer in a country like Australia where the common daytime temp is 35-40 degrees Celsius (95-104 degrees Fahrenheit) this will be an issue for long sessions that aren’t in air conditioning for sure. I mean I doubt anything will break cos it has auto shutdowns when the temperatures are too high, but I mean it’s still concerning. And repeated long term exposure to such high temps will definitely cause issues and almost certainly reduce its life. Smart folk will limit their sessions to a few hours max and then have a break for a half hour before resuming but certain ppl won’t. I know cos I’m from there and have seen issues with Samsung phones shutting down due to heat while your using them while charging in summer. If you don’t live where it’s that type of extreme summer heat, or you play in an air conditioned house there will be zero issues. Glad I got a launch console!
@fR_eeBritney pretty sure I heard it did so badly it lost 70 million dollars. Their fatal mistake was their focus on making an all female lead movie rather than just making the best movie they could regardless of what gender/s played the lead roles. It would take sheer brilliance to overcome a project being so severely hamstrung right out of the gate and the writers nor the actors possessed that brilliance. Same goes for this new Saints row. They’re focusing on the wrong thing. No one cares (obviously I mean in general as proven by it selling very well) who the leads are when it’s a kickass game with a kickass story, graphics and gameplay. Coming in with an agenda and trying to make all the pieces fit to that is a fools errand. It’s called trying too hard and people can sense that from a mile away and judge you for it with ruthless intensity. People don’t like fakes sycophants and phonies and as more and more of that is being pushed on us people will vote with their wallets
@UltimateOtaku91 not really. Rather than splitting their time between doing both at the same time they are doing them both separately. Meaning the single player and the multiplayer will both be more detailed than if they’d combined them into one. I hate multiplayer so I for one welcome this. I’m sick of getting a watered down single player experience so they can make multiplayer on the same game

Re: Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS5) - A Gorgeous Adventure with an Old-School Approach
Well you get what you pay for I guess. Can’t expect an excellent gaming experience for what equates to about half the price of a “normal” game
Re: Poll: Do You Want Even More PS5 Marvel Games from Sony?
Marvel games or games like the last of us and Days gone hmm lol. No brainer there, I’ll take real games over Marvel fluff any day
Re: Kena: Bridge of Spirits Grabs Physical Version in November
I don’t know of a large list of shorter indies with actual hype personally
Re: Kena: Bridge of Spirits Grabs Physical Version in November

Re: New PS5 Firmware Update Out for Everyone Tomorrow, Includes Internal SSD Support
@Sladey69 yeh I knew some people would still use tv speakers as their audio I was more meaning why not do soundbars as well at least
Re: New PS5 Firmware Update Out for Everyone Tomorrow, Includes Internal SSD Support
Do people really still use tv speakers though? I’ve had a surround soundbar set up for like ten years lol

Yawn, where’s the Ps5 version?

That’s reassuring. Miles Morales was like a watered down crap version of the last Spider-Man game
