Re: Kena: Bridge of Spirits Grabs Physical Version in November

@KundaliniRising333 it’s a half price at launch game that goes for ten hours. That’s why there’s been no hype, cos it’s not a full length game. It’s rare there’s ever hype for such small games. Unless it’s a huge AAA series for people with more money than sense lol

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Deathloop?

kingbreww

I played Dishonoured 1 and 2 and that’s why I know I’ll hate Deathloop cos I hated those. That and it fully looks like you’re killing mannequins lmao. Thank god for no questions refunds cos I hated both Dishonoured games

Re: Firesprite Will Produce PlayStation Exclusive Games Outside Sony's 'Core Offerings'

kingbreww

If it’s VR then cool but it’s kind of like, well I love those core games and I don’t want different ones. They’re literally the reason I and a massive portion of their customers buy PlayStation consoles. I want more of that not something that isn’t that. Right off the bat my “spidey sense” is tingling that they’re referring to online, co-op or multiplayer based games. Which would be ***** if Sony is starting to dip their toes into that pool

Re: Gulp! PS5 Stock Shortages Could Last Until 2023

kingbreww

@Shepherd_Tallon both the slim and the pro came out within a month of each other pretty close to being spot on 3 years after the Ps4 launched. I’ll be getting the pro model to replace my launch console for sure though. My launch is awesome, it’s just moar power haha

Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for September 2021?

kingbreww

The monthly PS plus games are so bad that a selection like this months is viewed as good simply because it’s an improvement on the absolute tripe we’re normally served up. What did we get? An old Hitman game, a horrible predator game and a throw away 5 minute time filler game. 6/10 which is a D

Re: Dead Space PS5 Will Double Down on Dismemberment

@Flaming_Kaiser I’m waiting patiently on Far cry 6, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 (The wife has a Series X and it’s free day one on gamepass), Chernobylite, probably Hogwarts legacy, HFW of course, for Cyberpunk to be finally fixed and released on Ps5 and the future new Skyrim and Fallout games (the solo offline games, not the online crap). Oh and Starfield

Re: Dead Space PS5 Will Double Down on Dismemberment

kingbreww

@Flaming_Kaiser yeh I did for sure. Brilliant game that one. Not so much into the bash type games unless it’s done perfectly and is story HEAVY. Which HZD clearly is. I never buy anything day one as I give it time for the bugs to be fixed. Usually 3 months, but with the new Horizon I’ll cut that to one month as I’m sure being Sony it will be released in good shape and I just can’t wait another 3 months haha. The other game never played it

Re: Dead Space PS5 Will Double Down on Dismemberment

kingbreww

@Flaming_Kaiser agreed. Can’t stand the inanity of AC games. If you’re gunna be that long at least be enthralling. Unfortunately though Dead Space is only just over half the time you mentioned. To be clear (and I’ll edit my comment) when I say a 20 hour plus game I’m referring to the time it takes to complete the main quest line and the side missions only. I don’t have the time nor the inclination to watch YouTube videos so I can find all the collectibles etc to get platinums

Re: Dead Space PS5 Will Double Down on Dismemberment

kingbreww

I’ll be buying this, much like the new resident evil but not for full price. When it’s around half price or less. Games that are significantly under 20 hours (to beat the main quest line and the side missions) aren’t worth full price

Re: PS5 Revision Teardown Prompts Cooling Concerns

kingbreww

@get2sammyb perfectly timed as it’s winter here atm haha. But yeh, like I said it will only be an issue during peak summer for long sessions. Most users don’t game that long or will be smart enough to realise when it’s that boiling hot to have breaks. I only see this being an issue with negative consequences to a tiny percentage of users. Still, it’s not the direction I like seeing being taken, nor would any user

Re: PS5 Revision Teardown Prompts Cooling Concerns

kingbreww

In summer in a country like Australia where the common daytime temp is 35-40 degrees Celsius (95-104 degrees Fahrenheit) this will be an issue for long sessions that aren’t in air conditioning for sure. I mean I doubt anything will break cos it has auto shutdowns when the temperatures are too high, but I mean it’s still concerning. And repeated long term exposure to such high temps will definitely cause issues and almost certainly reduce its life. Smart folk will limit their sessions to a few hours max and then have a break for a half hour before resuming but certain ppl won’t. I know cos I’m from there and have seen issues with Samsung phones shutting down due to heat while your using them while charging in summer. If you don’t live where it’s that type of extreme summer heat, or you play in an air conditioned house there will be zero issues. Glad I got a launch console!

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of the New Saints Row?

kingbreww

@fR_eeBritney pretty sure I heard it did so badly it lost 70 million dollars. Their fatal mistake was their focus on making an all female lead movie rather than just making the best movie they could regardless of what gender/s played the lead roles. It would take sheer brilliance to overcome a project being so severely hamstrung right out of the gate and the writers nor the actors possessed that brilliance. Same goes for this new Saints row. They’re focusing on the wrong thing. No one cares (obviously I mean in general as proven by it selling very well) who the leads are when it’s a kickass game with a kickass story, graphics and gameplay. Coming in with an agenda and trying to make all the pieces fit to that is a fools errand. It’s called trying too hard and people can sense that from a mile away and judge you for it with ruthless intensity. People don’t like fakes sycophants and phonies and as more and more of that is being pushed on us people will vote with their wallets

Re: Naughty Dog's Multiplayer Game Described as Cinematic Experience Between Players

kingbreww

@UltimateOtaku91 not really. Rather than splitting their time between doing both at the same time they are doing them both separately. Meaning the single player and the multiplayer will both be more detailed than if they’d combined them into one. I hate multiplayer so I for one welcome this. I’m sick of getting a watered down single player experience so they can make multiplayer on the same game
