@Nalodart @Amnesiac yeh I know, that why I wait until it’s optimised/got the extra stuff or finished as I like to call it. So when I play games the first time I get the better version giving the better first time experience 👌

This is why I wait to buy games so I get the best possible experience at a better price too. I smh at people who buy what is in all actuality an unfinished game day one. These days It takes MONTHS for games to be finished after they are released. And just because you still enjoy playing day one games doesn’t make it a smart idea to support paying full price for an inferior unfinished product before anyone gets started 💯

Picked up Returnal on Amazon Australia this morning for $50 AUD ($36 USD). Created a new account too as I do every time I buy on Amazon so I can sign up for the free Amazon prime trial and got free next day delivery as well hahaha
Gunna get Deathloop for $39 AUD ($28 USD) at a local retailer called JBHIFI when their sale starts on Tuesday 👌
Black Friday sales rock, and the best part is I can sell them when I’m done if I so feel like doing 🤘

In a year that was obviously really sparse as usual during a launch year for me the best game this year was Resident Evil Village. Yeh it was short, the gun play could have been a little bit better and the story definitely would have massively benefited from it doubling in length but it’s stands out from what was released. Imo

Was reading online they’re being absolutely flooded with refund requests and it’s the lowest rated game this year. Even lower than eFootball.
So clearly it’s real where people are not at all happy with the game hence the negative reviews are also mostly at least, all genuine. As supported by the evidence of people who are en masse submitting refund claims

Lol looks like I’ll be swapping my Ps5 with my wife’s Series X for a while when it comes out then. No way am I missing out on Skyrim, Starfield and any new real Fallout (not that online garbage). Those games I mentioned are right up the top of the best games going around so

@Telekill if you like open world rpg’s it’s a really special game. You will easy spend 150+ hours with the DLC missions as well. And enjoy yourself the whole time. It’s one of those games you get lost in and cannot stop playing. If you don’t love this genre though obviously it’s nothing you’ll miss 👌

@RiceC03 yeh I’d say it’s more of a case of it having more hands on deck working on the Ps4 version due to the user numbers on Ps4 and them not switching over to Ps5 releases only yet. They’ll optimise it like you said

@LazyLombax it did though? Not too much in game say for a few rumblings here and there but it was very pronounced in the shooting with each gun “feeling” completely different

Obviously the ssd is amazing as is the dualsense. It’s a usual quiet first year after a new gen launches but the 2nd year is heating up with several massive titles scheduled, with more to come. By the time the third year is underway we’re going to have a monster on our hands. Ripening slowly, but well

Well that really good because it has been one of the leanest years in memory. I hate 1st years after new consoles are released for this reason though

I way prefer games of this style to be with guns but this game I completely loved and wasn’t wishing it was anything other than what it was. That’s a testament to its greatness

I mean, a Ps5 can’t play a Ps2 game on max resolution at a locked 60fps? Obviously it’s EASILY capable of doing that. What kind of malarkey is this. I say again…anyone who buys any game day one isn’t smart. Typical, but what a dumpster fire

@ATaco so many low brow gamers keep buying em so they keep pumping them out. With only so much money available to fund projects and remakes costing a fraction of the price to make, new games are becoming less and less frequent. Look for them to make more and more remakes which are less and less quality because they are cheap again the same fools keep buying em broken, day one and for full price. Can’t blame them for preying on peoples stupidity

Regardless of what this game is and what it should be these days what’s for sure is people who buy day one are punished by paying full price for an inferior product (to what it will eventually be in a few months) that’s months away from being 100% ready aka as close to bug free as humanly possible. It’s just a matter of to what degree. Either severely buggy and broken at worst, quite noticeably buggy with certain elements working poorly at best. 3 month minimum wait after release for me 👌

Love the people here trying to move the goal posts so to speak too. Well it’s making me giggle anyway. Rockstar via Grove St. games is still down to Rockstar. Hence the radio silence from them pre release. They knew, and didn’t care. It’s all about getting suckers to pre order as far as they’re concerned
