Since I don't own the camera or the move controllers, do you guys think this is a good deal? I guess the real question is whether or not the move controllers are "essential" to the experience.

I wonder if it's enough to justify the $80...

Edit: to clarify, I really am hyped for this game. But I was expecting $40 for standard and $60 for special editions of they existed, so I'm just curious about content now.

@rjejr I've been wondering the same thing. I've gotten pretty used to the NL layout.

Personally, I'd be sad if this happened. I own all three new gen consoles, which I consider to be an investment in a generation of gaming. All three for less than a top of the line PC, lasting for 5-10 years. If this multi tiered experience occurred, then I feel that consoles only retain their value with their exclusive software. (Which is a point in itself)...

Overall, I hope that this doesn't happen.

Just downloaded this te other day for the ps plus promo. Really enjoyable, quirky game.

I'm very curious about this game. Missed it last gen, almost picked it up a few times recently. But now I hope this version comes our way! Or that there is English in the Japan release. Still haven't imported any PS4 games yet though

Still looking to pick this up on PS4. Played on PC at launch, but it never grabbed me like Diablo 2 did. That is still one of the best games of all time, in my opinion. Many nightmares were had from the evil that was act 2...

Finally got a ps4 here in the USA, but i can't log in at all :/ But hey, at least I updated Witcher 3 last night, so I'll be able to play regardless

I really want to play this game, but the whole add on content fiasco has really been off putting.

I love Battlefront 2, and I still play it every so often. But this is one of those games where it might be smarter to just get the damn GOTYE for $60. I love Star Wars but that DLC kills it for me

Ok guys- I've always been tempted by this series, but the first entries are super expensive on disc. Would it be alright skipping them and just going for the PS3 entries, or do you think I'd be missing out? It'd be way easier if they were all on PSN.

Been playing since #1, and I enjoyed it all the way up through THUG2, but after that... Terrible.

I miss the days when you knew that you were getting a quality, fun game when buying into this series. Especially THPS 2-4. Pure glory.

I really hope it's still turn based. I enjoy a variety of battle systems, but my favorite will always be the old school style.

As someone who plans on owning all three consoles this generation (haven gotten a ps4 yet), I think it's great when any system has such success, And great for gaming in general. The WiiU wins so far for exclusives though. (but terrible 3rd party support, obviously)
Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta were quite good, however.

As a huge DQ fan, I'll definitely be buying every thing they localize. (Looking at you, DQ7)

It's tough being a fan of this series, as they don't seem to give us a chance to even buy them. They know there is interest, but it's always pushed off.
Hopefully DQ Heroes will sell well so we can change their perception of what we want as RPG gamers.

What a perfect day in gaming news

No matter what console this comes to, I'll be getting this day 1!! Dragon Quest is my favorite RPG series, so I'm pretty stoked.

As far as odds go, I'm betting on PS4. If so, this and wattam will make me get one this year

WiiU is next in line I'm guessing, since Nintendo has a great history with the DQ games, and it's still a reasonably popular console in Japan.

As for XB1, I see almost a 0% chance, unless it is a pure multiplat release. There is no way that SE would waste one of its biggest franchises on a console that sells next to nothing in its most profitable country.

All my opinion though, and like I said, I'm happy as long as it gets a USA release. I've really enjoyed the DS/3DS releases, but I'm so happy to play it on the tv once more. Welcome back, DQ!

Maybe this is weird, but this game along with Dragon Quest Heroes are the two games making me really want a ps4 this fall.

Looking back over my gaming history, I have fond memories with a lot of Konami's games. Zombies ate my neighbors, castlevania, metal gear... Just a shame to see another Titan of the industry fall to bad decisions.

Pretty excited for this game, since I've always loved FF. I haven't played a FF game since 10 though so I'm looking forward to a different style of gameplay to mix things up. I got a good deal on the collectors edition so that's a plus as well

I'll still get this game since I enjoy the series, but turn based RPGs are still my personal favorite. Bummer that square thinks they need to change a system that worked so well.

@get2sammyb I'm not sure why there aren't more bundles over here- personally, I've been waiting for a really good one to arrive before I pick up a ps4. If this one comes overseas I just might! I wonder if there will be a bundle with The Order in the states.
