@ThroughTheIris56 what is packed in the remainder of the year? Hell is Us, Silent Hill F, Ghost of Yotei, Cronos, etc all look like fine 7-8/10 games but definitely not must plays

If you read the words in the review, not the score, it sounds more like a 6/10 game that was given 2 points extra just cause it’s FromSoft.

@Fiendish-Beaver a 32k peak on steam for an AAA release is just laughable these days. Expedition 33 was an AA release that was also on gamepass and it had a peak of 145k.

Doom is significantly underperforming.

Looks great, but the fanbase is insufferable with their gate keeping.

1) Do you have 160 hours available to spend on realistic medieval WRPGs and don’t mind jankiness and less refined gameplay systems to get the full story in detail from A to Z? Start with KCD1.
2) Do you have 80 hours available for a realistic medieval WRPG that is a lot more refined/definitive than its predecessor? Start with KCD2.

There are no revenue reports for anything other than mobile but yeah, HSR has been bringing more cash

1) digital only so not paying full price for that crap
2) pushsquare gave DD2 a 9/10 while the game was very shallow and this is only a 7/10 by them so I'm definitely concerned with how much worse it is

The update is actually coming 31 July, not 31 August like it's being said here

@UltimateOtaku91 I mean sure, the big hype died down but it's literally the 16th most played PC game in the world still. I'd say it's very much alive and kicking.

@AndyKazama what do you mean by progression model? You can clear all content in Genshin, Honkai Star Rail and ZZZ using free characters + you get a ton of pulls every patch for more limited characters.

Lol'ing at all the people in the comments here who cannot handle not seeing every little detail in a game in 1 playthrough. It's called your playthrough and choices having consequences my dudes...

It's the best 6.5/10 game you'll ever play. Minus points for making fast travel from the top to the bottom cumbersome and barely any enemy variety, plus you become unstoppable in the game once you're level 30+ and it has 0 challenge anymore.

I wish these games were better. They’re just anime tropes on anime tropes coupled with a bunch of yapping in the name of world building. Hope this entry brings the story telling and gameplay up a level.

@amatmulisha what are you talking about? Gaming is a very cheap hobby. You literally get 50-100h of entertainment for 1 game purchase.

Tried it but the story was just mindless and awful compared to Genshin Impact, so I dropped it.

I’m thinking about getting one. It would work well when the wife wants to watch some TV so I can continue playing.
