@Zag_Man Yeah I get it everyone different. Same way I couldn’t imagine someone playing on a PS4 anymore that thoughts insane. Everyone got different standards. To each it’s own.
@Zag_Man Yeah that’s just personal preference then because I legit won’t even play games in 30. It’s ruined my switch for me lol. I do play on a 77 Inch OLED so maybe that is part of reason I greatly notice difference but whenever I play at 30fps it legit feels soo bad to where I don’t want to play it.
@Zag_Man Idk getting games at 60fps-120fps is game changer for me. It’s made it so I can’t even play at 30 feels gross. Also controller is so much better I used to prefer 3rd party on Xbox but now because on dualsense I buy all my 3rd party on PS5. While I agree there are a lot of conveniences that makes it so I could never go back. If my PS5 died tomorrow I’d gladly pay scalp prices for another could never imagine playing PS4 pro again.
@thefourfoldroot If your mainly playing single player games your def fine completing/deleting. The absolute killer is for all those playing latest cod & Warzone & battle royals Warzone & latest cod take up like 50% of storage just themselves.
@SirCroconut you also have to install it yourself tbh again it’s pretty simple but for convenience I would have much rather PlayStation have gone the Xbox one. Especially if that meant having it from launch it’s been nightmare storage wise last 8 months. I’ve already seen Xbox one go on sale for as low as $179.
@Rhaoulos It’s all about expectations. I think if digital would have been $500 regular would have been $600 people would have been mad. Reality is people atleast people I know also pods I follow expected PlayStation 5 to sell for $500 so when digital came out it was like cool this one is a $100 cheaper since we weren’t expecting it verses looking at it as the regular is $100 more expensive. People are mad about the switch price jumping because people were expecting more upgrades so when there was only a screen upgrade and it then you hike up the price people are upset because it doesn’t feel like you changed much but your charging more again it’s all about expectations.
@Divergent95 I was fortunate enough to get both day 1. As much as that sounds good in theory I know myself I couldn’t go without playing the ghosts last of us horizon Sony has to many good exclusives to ever not own a ps5 imo.
@OMG_Waffles Couldn’t disagree more I have been beyond ecstatic with ps5 I could never go back to PS4 pro. Being able to play miles morales demon souls in 60fps the controller is soooo much better especially the haptic feedback I’m returnal is incredible. Also being able to play cod black ops in 120 fps the virtual non existent load times it has felt next generation so many times I use it. Maybe it’s because I have a 77 inch LG CX so I can take advantage of all it can offer but I literally feel next gen almost every time I use it and have been beyond happy with exclusives.
@Ryall Have you played it recently? It’s super outdated. Going from 1 to 2 is night and day from gameplay to mechanics to graphics I played it like 4 months ago and it feels super old & dated could definitely use an update.
Last of us 2. God of war was incredible but I was not invested with those characters like lou2. Last of us 2 is only game that stuck with me months later all others were great times in moment but didn’t wake up weeks later thinking about them like I did with last of us 2
Beyond incredible absolute masterpiece. This was only game I finished this year that weeks and weeks later still thought about every day. After game ended i didn’t have words to describe how I felt because I felt every emotion at once. Graphically animation & smoothness ruined other games for me. Tried playing ghost right after and ghost felt so blah to me in terms of detail in facial animations and smoothness of movement and story telling. Eventually played ghost and loved it but had to wait like two months cus every game after left of us 2 felt mediocre for longest time.
I’ve always preferred the Xbox controller especially the elite 2 I love. I am lucky enough to have a ps5 & series x and I am finding myself buying 3rd party games all on my ps5 because I just love the dualsense. It has become my favorite controller by far.
The problem is people going to be mad either way. If cdpr would have delayed it more people would have got mad. If they would have said hey it’s trash on old gen hardware this is now a next gen only game people would have lost there minds even more no winning
@Deadlyblack If possible you should make sure your PlayStation is directly plugged into internet through Ethernet. When I’m not plugged in and go wireless takes like 3 hours for 100gb when I plug it in it takes like 10 mins lol
I know it’s $219 I bought Microsofts proprietary 1tb storage expansion day 1. Luckily had target 20% off coupon so got it for like $180. I’m saying $50 for proprietary verse non proprietary not $50 for the expansion card. I think the best compatible internal ssd for Sony still going most likely be within $50 range of $220. It’s not like Sony’s are going to be $99 it’s high specs it’s going to be pricy. Tbh even if they were $130 i would rather pay the $220 for it being proprietary easy to plug in and day 1 available. I understand not everyone would/can afford to pay more but personally for me that’s where it’s personal preference I don’t mind paying extra money for the convenience is what I’m saying.
@thefourfoldroot And that’s where it definitely is personal preference I would much rather just pay more for convenience of having it day 1 guaranteed compatibility and easy to plug in but that’s me. For me even if they send out list in 3 months of here are 5 compatible ones knowing me I’m going to be like okay but which of those is best does one perform better and that’s just more research things to look into cus I always want best experience lol. A lot of people would rather save the $50 I would rather spend that extra money and it be done and easy day 1. That’s just personal preference though.
@thefourfoldroot my point is Xbox was able to release there console and then sale expandable internal storage that’s what I wish PlayStation would have done. I’m not saying sell the console with more storage for a bunch more money I’m saying sell it separately like Xbox did or put a list out of approved internal ssds for us to go get them. For some it’s to much money to buy more and there are so many other options such as usb harddrive or deleting games etc I wish they would have had a few approved internal ssds at launch so the people like myself who are more then happy to pay more for that extra storage can. I get if they couldn’t have that at launch but I wish they would have given some kind of hey this will be coming at end of year or beginning of next year or something more concrete.
@thefourfoldroot I get what your saying and to each it’s but for me I don’t want to have worry about deleting games I finished if I want to play again. I get the idea you can delete games then download next game you want to play but I guess that is just part of inconvenience that I would prefer not to deal with. Like with my Xbox I bought the 1TB storage expansion and now I’ll be good for next several years. I wish Sony had that on day one as having to delete games redownload games is just something I wish I didn’t have to deal with. One of my least favorites things on my PS4 pro was when there was a cod update and hey I don’t have storage so let me try and find a game to delete like I prefer the option to buy 1-2 TB of storage so I don’t have to worry about that for years like I did with my series x at launch. I am definitely a rather pay more for convenience type which there are definitely people not look that which is perfectly fine and understandable but that’s just bummer for me.
@thefourfoldroot For a lot of people that works but there is just as many people like myself I bought cod black ops demon souls miles ultimate bugsnax pathless ac vahalla sackboy all day 1. So for day 1 that’s like 80% of my storage and I haven’t even download any backward compatible game. That’s where even though Xbox route is expensive I loved that they produced that extra 1tb expansion card I got that day one and now don’t have to worry. I understand I can delete games move them back on and off but I would much rather option to pay more for convenience of never having to worry about space. Really hope they offer internal compatible ssds soon.
That’s really disappointing to hear. Since I’m purchasing miles ultimate sackboy cod & demon souls day 1 half my storage is already gone that’s before I move over persona 5 royal ghost of Tsushima and all my other games and saves. Hoping they have some storage options soon.
