Jaws Retro Edition (Switch) Will be wrapping this up this weekend. I really enjoyed this game alot especially the enahnced version.

Forza Horizon 6 (Series X) Seasonal objectives

Zelda II The Adventure of Link (Switch) I got the itch to play this one so I figure I do a playthrough this weekend.

So this weekend I will be taking to the seas of the Carribean for.....

Jaws Retro Edition (Switch) What you'd thought there would be another game set on a ship in the Carribean that I would be playing? Anyway I have really been enjoying this game. The improvements they made to this game makes it alot more enjoyable while still retaining that NES charm. Looking to finish Chapter 2 this weekend and start Chapter 3.

Forza Horizon 6 (Series X) Will be doing my seasonal objectives. Still enjoying this game alot. As with all FH games this is one that will be installed on my console for awhile.

Non gaming this weekend I will be going to my local Game Cafe to play some D&D for an event they are having and of course I will be watching the World Cup.

The problem with Xbox is that they have now fully embarced the corporate part of the gaming business its not about making great games and being unique its about keeping their stockholders happy. They are doing everything for them not the consumer and gamers anymore. They dont give new ideas time to grow, cultivate they want results now.

Yeah a game like Avowed isnt going to have the numbers like say Fallout will get but Fallout has been around for 30 years it built a dedicated fanbase who are willing to spend anything on Fallout. They know they can put out a half assed bug filled always online multiplayer pay to win game of an existing IP and the people will pay, its guaranteed. Where something new like Avowed its anyone's guess if it will sell well and heaven forbid if its full of bugs but if its CoD or Fallout thats OK the people will buy it.

The same thing happened to Playstation when Jim Ryan took over and its even happening to Nintendo as well. We are just at the point now where gaming has now embraced the corporate side sadly there's no going back. Its like the fast food industry now. Take a look back at McDonald's, Burger King or any other fast food place 40 years ago. They were unique, each with their own style and not afraid to try new things. Now they are soulless corporate husks of their former self. Heck just by glancing at them you cant tell one from another.

This is just the reality we are living in now and yeah its sad the way its going but this is the future of the gaming industry.

This is why Sony's all digital future is not good.

Well, this is going to be a common site for Sony.

Sadly I am sure it will sell well. I am pretty sure Sony has done its research before doing such a huge move like this, they would be stupid not to and see that a good amount of people dont by discs anymore. They probably have data showing how many PS5's they sold without the disc drive vs how many had one not to mention how many disc drives they sold and last how many copies of physical disc games they sold vs their digital counterpart. While I am not for all digital, I believe options are good Sony has their reasons, and it will sell.

And with that modern gaming is dead to me. With all the price hikes for new consoles, Microsoft's B.S. and now this I will be done with modern gaming. I have alot of games in my backlog now and several retro consoles that I have alot of games for that I dont need Sony's Microsoft's or Nintendo's anti consumerism.

@MidnightDragonDX The problem is they want to put their stuff on other consoles but they also want to appease the Xbox Fanboys. Its a case of you cant do both but trying tell them that.

I have a feeling that if Gears and the other game dont sell well then the uppers at MS will say see exclusives dont do well on Xbox.

Forza Horizon 6 (Series X) The winter season is upon us and that means a new set of seasonal challenges to do. Along with that I will probably go do some things off my Discovery Japan list so maybe I can get the last 4 barn finds I need.

Borderlands 4 (Series X) I have been neglecting this game since Forza Horizon 6 came out so hopefully this weekend I can get some things done in it. Vex is coming along nicely ane I am still having a blast with this game.

Its not surprising live service games are decling unless of course you are Fortnite, and they might be too I dont honestly know since I dont follow them. Even the once juggernaut Call of Duty is seeming record lows the last two games. Then you have games like Arc Raiders, XDefiant, and Marathon where a decade ago would be popular and have steady numbers for month or even years afterwards but now die 6 months later.

Its just that people are tired of the live service model kids that grew up on Fortnite and CoD dont have mommy's and daddy's bank account to buy all their skins anymore or their income is going to adult stuff. This new generation of kids arent so much into live service games.

Got get that terrorist money huh. Whatever it is hes working on I wont be getting it. I dont support terrorists.

If I were Sony when the bill came for the movie I would leave Nintendo with the check and tell them to have Philips cover it lol.

Not a surprise with Limited Run Games.

Mafia: The Old Country (Series X) Just joined the Family. Really enjoying this one and where its going.

Graveyard Keeper (Series X) I cant say no to a free game. Played this a bit during the pandemic so it's been awhile. Will be starting a new game this weekend.

River City Ransom (NSO) Will be doing a playthrough of my favorite Kunio game in honor of its creator's passing earlier this week.

@freddquadros Not to worried about the difficulty I am maxed level and got some good gear. Also playing it with my son, hes playing Flakk and I am Amara. So there's that. But yeah from what I have seen so far it is touching. I have always loved his and Maya's relationship.

This weekend I am looking to finally finish up a few games that I have been playing for awhile.

Forza Horizon 2 (Series X) Just need to finish 2 more championships to get to the Horizon Finale. I am not quite sure if thats the end or what since I never played this game but it sounds like it to me and if it is I will be putting this game to bed.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Looking to wrap up this game as well. Right now I am doing Krieg"s DLC and quite possibly my favorite but then again Kreig is my favorite BL character.

Retro Rewind (Steam) Been hearing about this game alot and it interested me quite alot. A video store sim in the 90's sign me up.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (Switch) Cleaning up a few of the minor rifts and doing some small things before tackling Hyrule Castle.

Forza Hroizon 2 (Series X) Just finished my third Championship and headed over to the next one. Absolutely enjoying this game and its easy to see why this ranks as one of the top Forza games.

Final Fantasy Pixal Remaster (Series X) Still working on this one. Been grinding mostly but I finally have enough to buy all my level 4 spells now.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Hopefully will be wrapping up another DLC this weekend. I enjoyed this last one alot and loved the western theme.

I always wanted to play Snow Bros on the NES. For some reason when I was a kid that game was always sold out at my Toys R Us everytime I had the money to buy a game and none of the rental stores had it to rent.

@Stepan Theres nothing on PS5 that I want to play that wont be or isnt on PC plus the price of the PS5 isnt worth it to me.

Still one if the best RPGs on the PS. It blows FF VII out of the water yet FF VII gets all the recognition. People just dont know a good game.

Still my favorite Playstation. I still have mine hooked up and play it every now and again. Probably will be my last Sony console as well.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Finished Guns Love and Tentacles DLC so I will be starting the next DLC this weekend.

Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Loving this amazing game. Just fled the dungeon with a new allie and now I am making my way back to Cobblestone.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) I am about to wrap up the Guns Love and Tentacles DLC. Seriously this games DLC is way better then the main story.

Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Finally grabbed this game on Switch as it was on sale. Such a beautiful game and perfect to play before bed each night.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Continuing on with the Guns Love and Tentacles DLC. Really like the cosmic horror vibe of this DLC.

Wow. Gamers are lazy nowadays. If they cant beat it right away they are all mad. Those type of games you practiced until you got good. Maybe they should try that first.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Finished Handsome Jackpot DLC so now I am starting Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC. Currently Level 69 with Amara.

Dispatched (PC) Will be starting this game this weekend. I enjoy games like this and I have been looking forward to this game since I heard about it.

Every year around this time of the year, I do a playthrough of Castlevania Symphony of the Night along with some other spooky themed games.

This year I did Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition and wanted to get to Silent Hill F but I wont have time to finish Silent Hill before Halloween so I will save it for next year.

I guess that people forget that MS is a software company first and foremost so this isnt a surprise. Judging that it's making headlines I am guessing people did.

Makes sense as Microsoft is a software company first and foremost. If the next Xbox is the price of a new gaming PC I will pass on it and just stick with my Series X and PC.

Sony's first party library isnt for me as I am not that big into cinematic experiences. Also for their first party games that I want to play like Spider-man series or Horizon Zero I can get them on PC.

Looks like the only true video game console in the next few years will be Nintendo.

My favorite one in the series but maybe that was because it was the one I put the most time in. I had the game at home so I would play it there, then a bowling alley near my house had the arcade cabinet there so I would play it there too. My favorite character was King and I.would always beat down the Eddie Gordo players who always thought they were the ***** cause they could mash buttons. So many good memories with that game. Still have my copy on PS1.

You'd think after the Sony hack they would have better online services. When will you learn Sony.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Finished the main story the other day so I will be starting the DLC this weekend. First up is the Handsome Jackpot DLC. Currently I am rocking a level 56 Siren.

Castlevanis: Symphony of the Night (Series X) Time for my yearly replay of this classic game. And no better time then the month of October.

Silent Hill F (Series X) Been looking forward to this game since I have always enjoyed the SH series. This ks another game I am looking forward to finishing this Halloween season.

I wont be buying it at all due to who now owns EA. I cancelled my preorder which was a shame cause I was looking forward to this game.

Not surprised in this day and age. No one is interested in talking about history they just want to act that it didnt exist. They forgot that because of the terrible things in history we became better people from it.

I still play my PS4 as I dont see the need to get a PS5. I still have a bunch of PS4 games for it too that will keep me busy for years to come.

Suikoden 2 (Series X) Looking to get some time in this one. I will admit I slowed down on it a bit since my main focus has been Borderlands 3, but I am looking to change that this weekend.

I figured as much when they said they were going to do a live action show. They probably used this to test the waters and see how popular a Tomb Raider show would be.

It surprises me that we never got a He-man game in the late 80s early 90s along the vein of TMNT or The Simpsons.

@LifeGirl Agree. I can see why people want MK9 included on this collection but to me this is a celebration of older generations of MK. But yeah people who are fans due to MK9 and beyond wont find much here.

I will be playing MK Trilogy first as its my favorite of the original series. I might check out the GBA games out of curiosity.

I remember Mortal Kombat Trilogy was one of the games I dad rented for my brother and I along with a PS from Blockbuster back in the day. It was my favorite MK game up to that point.

Suikoden (Series X) Just finished the battle with Kwanda Rossman. Now I am doing a bit of recruiting.

Octopath Travler (Switch) Started this awhile back but dont remember what I was doing plus I dont have my original save file anymore so I will be starting it this weekend.

Its going to either be a mobile game or a pachinko machine.
