Re: Hands On: Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Feels Like the Tightest, Most Polished Borderlands Yet

@QBGaming12 Oh, I agree with you on BL3 that's was one of the reason I just haven't really got into it the characters are just meh compares to the main characters in 1 and 2 and that isn't counting Gaige and Krieg.

As for Tina yes they did put a clone of Jack in the Pre-sequel but and they could put Tina in Wonderlands but again I think they want to keep the Dungeon and Dragons feeling so I highly doubt she would be a playable character. Besides from my understanding you create a crater in Wonderlands like you would Skyrim or any other RPG, they don't have set characters.

@QBGaming12 In True Borderlands fashion I am sure Borderlands 4 will be a group of 4 new characters.

As for DLC characters Gearbox said that they won't add new characters in as DLC after 2 and the Pre-sequal because the DLC characters in those games threw the balance off. If they do come up with new characters to play they said they just save them for future games so the games can be built around them.

And as for Tiny not being playable in her own game, they are doing like Dungeons and Dragons. Typically the DM doesn't have their own character as they are the one telling the story and playing all the NPC characters. A DM never plays the game itself so to speak.

@TotallySpectacul You have ever right to be upset. Sony promised something, you paid for something and they didn't deliver. They wasted your time, time you can't get back. If I were you I would be asking for a refund, and settle for nothing less.

Re: NFL Legend and Video Game Icon John Madden Passes Aged 85

Tasuki

Even if you didn't know football you knew John Madden.

It's funny cause when I was a kid he did commercials for Ace Hardware (a chain of hardware stores in the US) and one day I saw him on the cover of a football game for the SNES at my local video store. I thought why on earth would you get a guy that does commercials for a hardware store for the cover of a football game. Needless to say that was before I knew how big of Legend he was in football.

R.I.P Coach a legend that will be missed.

Re: Soapbox: I Think I'm Over Trophies

Tasuki

I never liked trophies/achievements. They felt like an artificial way of developers and companies saying games were longer then they were. They would say this game is 70 hours long but in reality it was only 15 hours long after you completed the story or objectives. That and you can tell they were some of the most tacked on b.s. to a game ever. ***** like jump 1000 times in one spot for a trophy and other supervoulise ***** that had no connection to the story or main objective of the game.

Also created elitists too. Too many times I have gotten into arguments where dumba$$es tell me I didn't complete a game because I didn't get all the trophies when a game is complete when the story is finished.

Yeah trophies/achievements were a bad idea but those were for the people where everyone gets a gold star no matter how bad you did..

Re: Far Cry 6 (PS5) - The Best Game in the Series, Sort Of

Tasuki

@LiamCroft Happy Birthday.

While I do enjoy the Far Cry series I can never justify paying full price for them. As it is I just bought 5 not long ago and still playing that. So it will be awhile till I get to this one but it sounds like it will be just as fun.

Re: Call of Duty: Vanguard Has Designed Multiplayer to Take Liberties

@ThroughTheIris56 I agree nothing wrong with games having silly neon colored soldiers and clowns but there's a game for that it's called Fortnite. Problem is companies now want every piece of the pie and forget what brought them to the dance. Of course a realistic military FPS game isn't going to attract Fortnite players so instead of trying to attract them, keep the players you have. Not every FPS player wants silliness in their FPS games alot of people want realistic or even arcadey military FPS. But they don't get it. It's hard to make a game appeal to everyone but they try and they just keep ostracizing their fans.

Re: Hades (PS5) - Who Knew Escaping Hell Would Be So Heavenly?

Tasuki

@Hurblyburbly Ummm the reason the revisions were made in later versions was because people bitched about the water temple back when OoT came out. The bitching just wasn't as noticeable because the internet didn't get as big as it was (or is now) when the re-release came out.

Now if you go to YouTube and type Problems with original Ocarina of time Water Temple I am sure you will get a ton of videos on it back during the release of it there wasn't YouTube even.

Everyone I knew that played OoT on the N64 back in 98 that was their complaint The Water Temple.
