Re: PS5's LEGO Batman Rivals the Arkham Classics in IP Love Letter

Simu001

The more I see and hear from thsi game the more I can't wait. Been replaying the arkaham series (without the vr outings) in anticipation. I didntlike skywalker saga as much as I thought I would. I felt that the episodes themselves were too abridged. So if this can avoid that then it'll definitely be one of the best lego games.

Re: NTE: Neverness to Everness (PS5) - Ambitious Anime Open World Gets a Lot Right

Simu001

It's okay but honestly I'm only playing it because Ananta isn't out yet. Its not bad but so far the main story is not that interesting. Cant start chapter 4 yet due to me not being high enough level. The spinoff episodes are better than the main missions imo. Hopefully taygedo isnt the focus in the future. The second main mission nearly made me quit

Re: Poll: One Year Later, Did Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deserve All the Praise?

Simu001

I can't get myself to finish Persona 5 roayale so I stayed away from clair obscur. No matter how.many times.I try (recently mh stories 3) I just can't stick with turn based games. Even if they have a 10/10 story and artstyle. There's always this inevitable "I'd rather playsomething else now" point. Once that point is reached usually 1/3 through then I just can't bring myself to continue. Take persona 5 royale again. Im still at the bank palace and just have no motivation to continue.

Re: The Last of Us Online Was 'the Best Multiplayer Game' Devs Ever Played

Simu001

It's easy to say " it would've been the best game ever". We never got to see it in action so everyone can imagine their perfect version of the game in their minds. In truth sony felt not confident enough in the project an pulled the plug. I just wish we could stop talking about what could've beens because it doesn't change anything

Re: Starfield PS5 Sales Estimates Leave Much to Be Desired

Simu001

Lets be honest if it weren't for the name Bethesda and the fact that it was a new IP, the game wouldn't have sold as much as it did and reception would've been more negative. Look at fallout 4 and how buggy it still is. Bethesda could make their games so much better but for that the creation engine has to be retired. As I understand switching engines isn't that easy so I understand why they refuse to do so.

Re: Capcom's Already the Year's Best PS5 Publisher, and It's Only April

Simu001

Requiem was fanstastic. Still working on MH stories 3 which started strong but now kinda left me bored (started the 3rd area). Thought I'd hate pragmata but after playi g the demo can't wait to play the full thing. On another note has dragons dogma been fixed? Performance was all over the place on launch

Re: You Might Not Want to Know How Much It Reportedly Cost Bungie to Make Marathon

Simu001

I played solo on pc, no autofill and quit after 20 hours. Every quest that goes "in one run" are practically impossible. Also the "story" missions are gated behind faction levels. So you do the same generic contracts over and over to level the faction up. Faction progres up to level 10 is fairly quick but as soon as you hit 10 that progress falls.off a cliff and comes to a near complete halt. I imagine if one enjoys grinding then this game will make them happy. Just know that solo you can't to the wndgame map. So yeah......like I said at the beginning I quit and I'm not going back.

Re: 2XKO Will Add Six Characters This Year, Despite Dev Scaling Down

Simu001

@RudeAnimat0r Maybe it's the IP. I played LoL for a month or so and god was it the most toxic and unforgiving game I've ever played. It was so bad it turned me off the franchise as a whole. Maybe there are more people who share a similar sentiment. Plus its a competitive fighter and that can be overwhelming aswell.

Re: 'CDPR Deserves a Lot of Credit': Tech Experts Praise Cyberpunk 2077's Anticipated PS5 Pro Mode

Simu001

I guess I'm in the minority but despite all the fixes, Cyberpunk left me unimpressed, especially the story. I hated Johnny and never warmed up to his story. Adam was a hyped up nothing burger. Jackies death at the beginning was meant to be this deep emotional moment yet I barely knew the guy. It really.missed me with the story and gameplay was just ok. The only thing I like about Cyberpunk is the city design amd graphics. But well that wasnt enough to keep me until the end.

Re: Starfield (PS5) - Better Than Ever, But Still No Space Skyrim

Simu001

Needing to patch in flying between planets is just damn. That should've been there on launch. But then again this game felt undercooked and rushed. Creation enginge is falling appart and I hope for TES 6 they go with a new engine. Cause this ducktaped together monstrosity feels on the verge of collapse.

Re: Silent Hill: Townfall Will Sound Just as Good as It Looks

Simu001

I thought Silent Hill f was an interesting take story and visual wise but gameplay didnt make me go back for the different endings. Curious to see how this one shapes up. I just love the experimental nature of these new releases. I think Silent Hill as a franchise can go many different ways and tell many different stories. We need more games willing to new things. Remember PT from Kojima? Despite it just being a demo it basically changed horror games for a while. Suddenly there where all these PT "clones".

Re: 'The List Is Crazy': Starfield Support and Updates Will Continue Following PS5 Debut

Simu001

The fact that flying to another planet has to be patched in 3 years after the fact, in a space exploration game, should tell you everything you need to know. Heck in Fallout 4 there are several spots where you just walk through walls or fall through the ground. Just walking is enough to break that game. To my knowledge that still hasn't been patched. The creation engine is falling apart it seems. A huge part of me is hoping TES 6 takes so long because they are getting used to a new engine.

Re: PS5's Dynamic Pricing Debacle Appears to Extend to the US Now

Simu001

Successful sony is like successful nintendo, arrogant. Arrogant and greedy. Im not a US citizen but on principals this practice has to be called out. So how does sony decide who gets the "good" discount? Is it determined by titles bought? Size of the wishlist? How long someone subscribed to ps plus and with which tier? Can we just stop with the enshittification of one hobby, please? The state of the world sucks enough as it is. Can we just have one thing that isnt completely screwed? Apparently not. Won't be buying games on ps5 then and my ps plus subscription has lapsed anyway and I won't renew it.

Re: Mini Review: 1348 Ex Voto (PS5) - An Intriguing But Disappointing PS5 Console Exclusive

Simu001

Haircut and story aside just looking at the gameplay. It looks like a cheap Senua knock off. One if my favorite souls streamer played it and he struggled with the combat. It just looked so sluggish. Like you have flashing weapons which tells you when you can parry but the window seems inconsistent. Idc if there's a medieval lesbian plot that's fine if done well. Actually there's alot of room there for a really good and emotional story. But it seems they fumbled that too.

Re: Marathon's Cryo Archive Locks Out a Lot of Players, But Bungie Is Listening to Feedback

Simu001

Solos in this game was clearly an afterthought and it shows in the balancing of the AI enemies and the frankly insane contracts. I've already left this game behind due to the insane grind. Bungie clearly wants this to be a team based game. They shouldn't have added solos. I'm actually kinda regretting the time and moneyy I spent on the game thinking just because they added solos I'd be able to do cryo. It kinda feels like false advertising in a way. Their wishy washy language leading up to cryo didn't help.

Re: Marathon (PS5) - Bungie's Extraction Shooter Is Truly Brilliant, and It Only Gets Better

Simu001

After putting in 20 hours or so in solo since launch, I have given up. Solo is clearly an afterthougth and a part of me wishes they didn't give in to demand. Also since cryo is unavailable solo, I'm locked outnof content. The social features requi5are not there to fidn a good group and I really dotn wanna play with strangers. So yeah I had some fun but now that hoenymoon phase is over I moved on. I just hope bungie either steps up their game for us solo players because some contracts are straight up torture solo.

Re: Marathon's All-Important Endgame Mode Cryo Archive Is Finally Here

Simu001

The fact that the solo mode is sooo undercooked made me quit tbh. Now I'm also learnign that I wont be able to play cryo simce it can't be done solo. That fully kiled the game for me. I got 20hrs out of it which is more than I expected but still. Artstyle is fantastic but I'm done. Maybe I'll return when solo mode has been given some much needed love and care.
