@carlos82 yeah for all the technical bess and whistles UE5 offers, it also often seems to suffer performance from it. Especially if little to no optimization is done. (Idk much about game development nor their engines so, take with ahuge grain of salt. Maybe an entire shaker full).

Man this whole thing is just one giant mess. D2 vaulted paid content which frankly should be illegal. Plagiarism (more than once). Decision that seem to be made by aliens. Man just.....sad. Am I the only one that just cannot get far into Kojima games? Whether its the metal gear series or the death stranding series. I just cant get far into them. Hours long cutscenes with confusing and overcomplicated stories, along with what feels to me like a lot of author selflove just..... has me rolling my eyes. I appreciate what he did for the gaming industry in proving that cinematic games ar epossible and lucrative. But man it feels like everyone treats him like he's some sort of messiah. Idk....

It looks good, I like the artstyle. Sadly its an extraction shooter a genre I don't like so it's a pass for me.

@Paramahansa agrred steam is notories for causing issues with ubisoft games due to ubisoft connect causing issues. If I buy a ubisoft game on pc I do so via ubisoft connect and I imagine others will do aswell. So steam is for sure not the complete picture.

@RagnarLothbrok Hmmmmm is it like lies of P/sekiro? With that I mean your only defense option is parrying? If so then I'm gonna have to pass. For souls games im a shield whore so yeah. The only souls game I enjoyed without shield is Bloodborne (which is still my most favorite soulsborne). Also did you have a chance to try AI limit and how would you compare these two? 😊

Lies of P much like sekiro isn't for me. I got to thenpuppet king boss and then gave up. However dsspite thisnLies of P is a fantastic game and im 1000% sure, that the dlc will deliver. I can't wait to see players much better than me take on the dlc for the first time and then all the no hit runs that'll come out of it.

@DennisReynolds In response to your comment #21. I could be wrong but I think they are burned by the likes of johnny somali amd other nuisance streamers. Look at what happened at watazumi shrine (there was an article earlier). I think their worry is not without reason. Sure videogames arent the sole reason ofc. But Japan has seen a fair share of disrespect especially at shrines from certain "tourists". It's only logical to me that they would atleast discuss how media may shape these disrespectful individuals. Ac shadows just happens to be thenlatest and newest game they could've talked about. Its a sad situation but I can understand that theydwant this defacing and destruction of priceless and culturally significant places and objects to stop. Then again im not japanese so thisnis all just my 2 cents. As for the game itself I'm glad it looks and runs great story is fine so far (still havent unlocked yasuke but I cant wait to unlock him). Overall quite happy with it hopefully it doesnt drag on like valhalla did witch I've never finished due to the length and losing me about halfway I guess with its plot. @Nepp67 Absolutely. I'm an atheist but never in a million years would the thought of behaving like that at such a revered place cross my mind. Let alone do so on purpose. It is one thing to maybe step a tiny bit out of line because you didn't know, but if people tell you to stop then just stop. I also feel sorry for the staff that have to deal with these tourists. Where has the respect and coppassion for eachother gone? It's just sad.

It looks good I'll give it that. But kojimas games just aren't for me. I couldnt get into phantom pain and the first death stranding was way too sluggish and boring for me :/. Nonetheless I hope all who get it can enjoy it

If they bring back sly jak and other older IPs as liveservice games, I'll be done with sony. Why focus on liveservice so much when you could focus on a good product/game first? Helldivers2 didnt succeed because luveservice it succeeded because it is a good game. (I dont like it but that's taste). Make a good game first and foremost. But I feel that sony has kinda lost that "magic" touch. Also games like sly came out at the perfect time for them.

Tried it out and kinda regret not refu di g when I had the chance. Not that the game is bad but its just not for me. Glad people who jump back in or are getting started are enjoying it.

Well that's one way to crush my excitement oh well. Hopefully those that'll be playing it have fun

Ah yes Turok a well know THIRD person shooter series. Im all for trying out new thi gs but a coop shooter third person turok is pretty much the exact opposite of what a Turok game should be. Just the idea feels wrong. Hopefully it'll be atleast playable day one.......

@DennisReynolds I dont wamt people to lose their jobs but its clear that ubi is so utterly rotten from the very top. I dont see a few new managers turning it around. We have years and years worth of mismanagement and at this point I think the ship has sailed for the company. Maybe a huge restructuring could do something but I dont see that happening. I just hope that all the talent left finds a better employer

@twitchtvpat True, well I just hope those projects see the light of day before ubispft gets dissolved into tencent or whatever. At this point it seems hard to believe that ubi can turn the ship around. But stranger and less predictable things have happened so we'll see.

With how broken games are these days, yeah i watch more content about games than olaying them. Also doesnt help that alot of games released these days aren't to my tastes. Also games are getti g more and more expensive. I've picked up guitar again after a break so free time is limited.

The netcode and Hitreg were atrocious early on so many dropped of the game because of that. I certainly did. Now woth blops6 out nobody went back to xdefiant. It wasnt a bad game but the terrible.first impression with somewhat lacking content killed it. Enough with broken games already. The we patch it later mentality really shows itself this gen, no wodner people are waiting for deep sales or go the piracy route.

I just can't get into it. Played the first o e wothout dlc as the dlc didn't grip me. Second game I'm still at the beginning but cometely lost as to who the characters are and whats really going on. After that my interest declined rapidly.

When I look at the death note game all I think is.... look how they massacred my boy.
