I chose Hell is Us over Silksong and don't regret it one bit. It is a fantastic experience, the atmosphere alone is incredible

@Czar_Khastik with masterpieces like Concord I can't blame them. See they had to remove Concord from the store due to how much it sold. It crashed entire economies and this caused many studios to close since thei didn't sell anything during that time. It was rough but understandable that sony couldn't let the game of all games dominate like this.

Hell is us is an experience I'm glad I'm experiencing. Cronos has been good so far but with frustrating situations

So I caved and got the premium edition. Got past the demo part and into the first village.....Holy moly the atmosphere is something else. The way the aftermath of war is portrayed is incredible. There were a few moments just in the first village were I went wow, this is, holy sh... If it keeps this up It's gonna end up as a truly special experience. Though it's definitely not for everyone

Wow these screenshots look fantastic. I didn't like skywalker saga as much as I'd hoped (probably because each episode was so condensed in a way). So this looks.like.the definitive lego game for me. But as always these days, I'll waitnuntil a couple.of weeks after launch to see how broken it is. (Hopefully it isn't, but confidence is at an all time low)

Yeeeaaahhh no. Damage is done. They were willing to attempt to pull this off and got burned. The fact they even thought it would be a good Idea tells me where the priorities lie. Such a bad look cause many will have seen the dlc bs and wont be following up on this news. After development hell, dev changes and it being a niche series to beginn with and now this? Yeah I have a feeling it wont meet sales expectations and sink. Maybe taking the whole franchise with it.....Or maybe it is a 10/10 game and saves it....Who knows, we barely know anything about it......

@get2sammyb If it stays at that I actually dont mind. Since its licensed stuff it and this way they can cycle through different licenses. As long as there is a good baseline variety. We'll see soon aneough amd early access if handled right is an great for feedback and getting data. I do hope they listen to the community.

I'll check it out because why not? Worst case I dont find it fun. Best case I find it fun. As long as microtransactions are purely cosmetic and reasonably priced and ofcourse optional then I'm fine with it. But if they lock tricks and map parts or ramps.and stuff behind a paywall then I'll be less enthused

UE5 is a resource vacuum. Even top graphics card struggle with it. Its also very dependent on upscaling and other AI tricks in Order to be playable. In time as more people.get familier with it it will be better optimized or atleast I hope. But as for now I try to avoid playing UE5 games week one.

I never finished the first one due to an endless loading screen bug. The game itself was also very meh. Roylands humor gets broting and annoyong very fast. He justbrepeats the subjects and drags the joke out. Safe to say I'm not gonna bother with part 2

The black ops 7 reveal got me even more excited for Battlefield 6 😊.

Edit: that picture sums up the reason why i hate these skins. Just look at them, they dont fit at all. Its like 2 different games slapped together. You know how in spongebob or similar cartoons they sometimes use a completely different artstyles for a cutaway gag? Od liek courage the cowardly dog? Its like that except worse and ridiculous in all the wrong ways....

Aaaaand the publisher or woever made this decision killed it. There we go. Its been in development hell. The first game is already a niche game and is notorious for needing fan patches to be in an acceptable state. Now they had a chance to give masquerade fans the definitive game...... and what do they do?...... Hamstring it by locking 2...I repeat 2 Factions behind dlc and at a ridiculous price for good measure. Is this franchise truly this impossible.to make a good game of? Perhaps it cursed. Wait I have an Idea for masquerade 3. In order to play even the base game you have to buy the day one patch as dlc. For 30 bucks. Otherwise the game won't launch....

I wasn't getting it anyway. But if this is true then what a screw up. Why not make it open map and extrection gameplay but with bots? This has the benefit that you can do scripted events for story/spectactle purposes. But if they make it multiplayer then all that goes out the window. Oh and of everyone hops onto the next game then this mission will become empty. Probably soon since you most like have to queue for this specific mission

Played it on pc shortly after launch and man did I regret it. Soooo many bugs. Soooo many crashes. I've seen the first part of the game more than any anime intro. But if you say soemthing about that the hardcore fanbase will run you over. Jank is part of the experience.... Im done at this point forcing myself to like it. Glad they are working on it but they've lost me...

I'll reserve Judgment until I see gameplay. Too many cancelations lately. But if it's another soulslike then I'm not gonna bother. Souls fatigue has kicked in for me

IMO on the one hand Studios should be as independent as possible. But then again Bungie has proven that they need a stricter guidance or whatever we wanna call it. As for marathon, after all the negative reception and the plagiarism controversy (2 of them iirc) I'd be surprised if this didn't turn into concord 2 electric bugaloo

Good. I dont need celebs nor cartoon characters in "grounded" shooters. Leave that to fortnite. I dont mind color skins on weapons aslong as they arent glowing animated and just plain unrealistic. If you keep the aesthetic grounded then extend that to the weapons too.

I think battlefield would fit Battleroyale the best. Dice has always pushed for.large player counts on the maps so this is just a natural evolution in that sense. Though they are late to the party now. Anyway I'm more interested in Battlefield 6 than cod

I left at the end of season 1. The community just became to toxic. Cosnantly flaming whether it was casual or competitive just constant flaming, arguing, isnsta locking characters and never switching and then some really bad trorrling with groot walls and jeffs that use the ult to teamkill. I mained rocket but man support was rough. People standing next to health packs begging for heals. Or running in 1 v 5 and then blaming the lonely healer wo got ganked for throwing. So yeah the community killed this game for me and I don't plan on returning

I mean its so minor. But then again slippery slope? Idk. There's def. more egregious examples out there. Perhaps its an AI terminal or something, then it would make sense lore wise....Idk.

Whether it be MGS series or DS. That doesn't mean they are bad games or experiences far from it. But it means that I can't really get into it. Maybe in a few years I'll try again and then maybe it clicks. Who knows. The important part is that those that are playing it right now enjoy it. 😄 (my apologies for the novel sized comment)

I have no doubt it's a fantastic game. But not one for me. DS 1 bored me to death and I stopped after meeting Mama and then being forced to fight a boss which was so frustrating as an experience I never came back. Tried numerous times to get back into but I just can't. The visuals are fantastic, soudn design and soundtrack are spot on. The acting is top notch especially Mads Mikkelsen. But the Glacial barely coherent story, and most important of all its sluggish slow gameplay kill it for me. I fell asleep while playing DS1 so yeah. While DS2 seems to be better in every aspect I won't be rscking the dive this time. But my non enjoyment should not get in the way of your enjoyment. Have fun and a good day

I tried to finish the first one several times but just couldn't finish it. I found it boring and too obtuse I stopped shortly into the second map. So yeah won't be attempting part 2. However I do hope that if you're getting it, it gives you hours of fun.

I cut down on my subscription services (they are money sinks). Considering its also a coop focused game and I am a solo player (with few exceptions), means this isnt for me. That reminds me....I have to go back to alan wake 2

I played helldivers for about 3 or 4 hours and then gave up. I was playing by myself and playing with randoms wasn't fun. Playing alone was even worse so I haven't touched it since then wich was a year ago or so.

Now that's a smart decision. They tried it saw that it didn't work and went back to the drawing board. Perhaps next time they can use the feedback to do an open world. But this is 100% the better call. Also I feel Horror games dont suit an open world. Horror inspired or perhaps horror elements? Sure but straight up pure Horror needs a tight design to work. Imo

I'm not interested in football at all same.goes for rocket league whoch I did try out a couple of times. Also none of my friends are interested in this game. So it'll be a pass from me. Though I'm always glad to hear that people enjoy a game the bought. We need more positivity in the world, maybe more than ever.

Honestly sad to see Digital Foundry taking the millions of dollars to trash this masterpiece. See 30fps with uneven frametime is actually preferable to a "stable" 60 fps. Because with uneven framepacing you'll never know when the stutters happen, which brings an air of excitement about. It'll have you on the edge of your seat not knowing whether it's lagging or freezing or maybe it even crashes! What fun! But of course Digital Foundry never found the genius of this technical marvel.....
