Wasnt for me sadly but I could see the addictive gameplay loop. Played it for a fair few hours on GP, unlocked several new characters and when down three levels but tired of it after that. Just wasnt addictive enough for me.
I'm not concerned yet but I will not tolerate ads in my games. I wouldn't even buy GTA6 if they were to put real life ads in the game and that's the highlight game of this gen for me. It could be the best game in the world but I would simply never play it.
People that say there is no longevity in digital are wrong in my opinion. My kids have my old PS and Xbox accounts and have games I purchased 15 years ago. If anything, unless you are a die hard collector, digital means you will have the games longer now as you can't trade them in. My kids certainly have no disks from when they were younger but they have hundreds of old digital games to play if they so wish.
@XenonKnight quite possibly I agree. If somehow the next gens were to cost a reasonable £600 I believe they would shift record numbers, regardless of a diskless future.
The PS6 will struggle but so will project Helix, it'll be because of the price though, it will have nothing to do with the all digital future. That will just be the icing on the cake.
The staff probably saw this coming and have already been looking for other work. It's not lack of empathy it's life, especially in their trade. I mean how do you get in that much debt anyway? 😆 always baffles me. There was a bloodbath coming sooner or later. Also glad that EA haven't made a game other than BF I like for years. The games can only get better really because they couldn't get any worse! There will be less agenda driven characters and storyline anyway. Might actually be more appealing now lol.
You don't need to play them on day one. Runescape is on Extra or whatever, Dune is on GP so I don't need to fork out for them. Might buy Dawnwalker but the only game I'm definitely buying isn't even on the list, Hell Let Loose. The rest dont really interest me to much, can't wait for GTA though. Oh yeah and there's No Rest, im getting that but I reckon it'll be cheapish.
Sounds decent, the negatives in the review sound minimal to me, a lacklustre story isn't anything I choose to worry about. Will certainly give it a go later.
Good news but not for me, to many other games to play and Untitled Goose was not my cup of tea either. I'm firmly in the critic reviews don't mean much corner as well. It's very rare our tastes align, like almost never. It should get played by many though with it being practically free, I hope it does well and the critics have got it right.
@get2sammyb not saying it was tbh. The only similarity is they are both monthly subs, as far as im concerned anyway they are both worth what we pay for them. I might very well of tried them but GP is to good atm and my attention is elsewhere. I put meh they are ok in the poll. Can't really be fairer than that. The negativity is probably just because people on here are pissed with Sony atm, I'm not though.
Meh and none. Gamepass is killing it at the moment for me with some great games so I'm on my Xbox most atm and these games don't even come close. Not trying to rile anyone up it's just the way it is right now and im not even playing or talking about Halo, I have no interest in that game
I've also been inspired to play Palword by Girls posts, I played it on preview but fully intend to start again after reading their posts. Looks amazing.
Planet crafter which is so good I'll buy some DLC when I've finished which I nearly have and Mistfall Hunter which is also decent but pushes you into trios at level 5, both on Gamepass though and splashing of BF6 on my PS.
My dad used to tell me about using cartridges in his car stereo, I was using tapes in my fist car, then it was CDs and now we just plug in our phones or Bluetooth them. Time doesn't wait for no man, or woman.
Just as BF was getting half decent as welI 😞 I don't really think they care about what we think or do, there's just as many people will be happy about this as there is disgusted by it. Just not us western folk, there's plenty of customers besides us in the world for them to make games for. Bad news I think but we'll see.
Meh, I'll wait and see before I care. I'm happy enough with my Pro and SX and they can wait 3/4 years and it won't bother me but as soon as they release one I'll be getting one. Maybe a Helix or maybe a PS6 only time will tell. Both, sooner or later.
Best place to play is Xbox, it's on GP 😆 Still not playing it, no MP but I suppose that's because you can still play Halo 2 and all the others MP on Infinite. Now if they would put Infinite on PlayStation with all the MP, that would be a win. Either way I'm a console fanboy not an Xbox or PS specific fanboy.
@8th_Observer it was probably the last two games they produced that sealed their fate. You don't keep employing a bad employee. They had a couple of chances and blew it.
@RoomWithaMoose Maybe. Hopefully they can continue and produce something decent to get them by. Not saying Pysconaughts isn't decent but it wasn't for me.
If they can't survive on their own it means MS were funding them, a losing horse it would seem. Can't blame MS/Xbox for cutting them loose is my immediate take from this.
The wife wants to watch this but I'm not going. Can't be doing with films these days. I might watch it if it ever hits Prime or Netflix but even then I probably won't. I didn't realise Tom Holland wasn't Spiderman, news to me that, hung up his Spiderboots has he lol.
Important protests in the past have been done to evolve society, successful ones anyway. This protest is the opposite, an all digital future is an inevitability, this is a protest to just stall evolution. It's not the same.
There's no way Sammy and co are going to stop these articles, no chance. All these clicks will be making the site a fortune. With all due respect to Pushsquare they will suck this bone dry, can"t blame them really, like Sony this site is a business at the end of the day.
It'll be interesting though to see what happens, im actually looking forward to it even though I'm not going to participate. Imagine if enough people counter this and the stats were to go up, this could all terribly backfire lol. Funny times.
This won't do much for at least a few reasons, not enough will do it, not enough people will even know about it and also there are people that will counter this by making sure the DO log in even if they weren't going to. I get the sentiment but I'll be surprised if it even drops 1% for the above reasons. Like some have said all digital is inevitable at some point even if they did backtrack for now, the fight should be about better digital consumer rights. It doesn't make sense.
Been on Xbox the last couple of days playing the excellent Planet Crafter on GP. I'm already all digital but Sony need to up their game if they want an all digital future. Pretty sure you can play your single player games offline though, it only becomes a problem if you game share your digital games and your console isn't the main/home console.
Been digital for ages but they need to up their game if they want to go all digital. Maybe someone hacked PSN and brought it down to make a point? unfortunately it would be a point well proven. A better network would be a good start because ouch! Not good timing.
@Toot1st yeah I've played it on Xbox. I know people here want the MCC but for online Infinite is well, infinitely better. I love playing legacy modes I think it is, like the old Halo 2 days with modern graphics. Infinite has it all, all the maps and modes from the years gone by, awsome game. Shame about Crossplay but I learnt to live with it.
Glad it's good but personally it's only the MP I'm interested in so will skip this myself. Won't even play it on GP. Weird to see it on PS but happy days.
Must be why mobile gaming is so big in Japan. 😆 Go and buy your codes in a box for the Switch. Don't care what the Japanese think tbh. 7 million PS5s sold in Japan hardly matters.
I'd say the people that want to buy physcal are more likely the people that like to trade them in with a small percentage being actual collectors. The people that I know like to buy physical are certainly trade in people. If anything digital is more hardcore as they want to keep their games.

@Vaako007 I agree, I was just making a point. There's no way at all they would be that cheap.
Re: Disc-Based PS5s Now Warn Buyers About the Impending Death of Physical Games
I'm surprised so many people thought Sony cared about them in the first place. A corporation is a corporation, absolutely none of them value us.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Halo: Campaign Evolved on PS5?
You can still play Halo 2s MP on Infinite, very good as well and well populated.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Halo: Campaign Evolved on PS5?
Nah not interested even on GP, Halo is about the MP for me not the campaign. No MP, no thanks. I've played every Halo since Halo 2.
