So it's just the same as it is with every subscription service then, if you take advantage of any sub 'free' trial they do exactly the same, from any channel on your Prime to any music subs. I'll be keeping mine going for a bit to see how good it is. Lol at everyone though xD any excuse to bash I suppose. Ultimate edition for me, £100 well spent, week off work. Hopefully this is an indication that we won't have to wait to long for the best part of the game, the online portion.

I'm hoping it's 2 weeks after launch like GTA5. It will probably be longer though, hopefully no longer than a month.

The difference with GP is you get more games than extra/premium and a lot more shadow drops AND a lot more launch games like 60+ a year, so no, it's not the same. Sony have done it for engagement and to try and stop people dropping the subs for a month here and there, that's the experiment.

@naruball maybe tbh, I think Saros was probably a £40er, I probably would of bought it at that price. Hard to say really.

Bit harsh, I don't know if I'll get TW4 at launch it all depends what else is out at the time. They support their games well, as good as any other devs I can think of so I don't have any complaints tbh. Not many games launch in a perfect state and if it wasn't for us 'dumb' people that don't mind getting scammed on launch day then nobody would buy games at launch and well, where would we be then? Before anyone says 'maybe all games would launch when they're ready!' In a perfect world yes but unfortunately it isn't a perfect world. It's us launch day buyers that keep the industry going. Abyssus for me but it's on GP so will play it over there. Empulse is also releasing in 2 days into early access, a 6v6 shooter that's been hailed as the spiritual successor to Titanfall. Not sure on the crossplay options yet but may very well get that on PS5.

I'll pay it, isn't it only about £10 more than Saros? With arguably 20x more content? Not many games I would be willing to spend this amount on but GTA6 is for sure an exception. I know Saros sold poorly but it would be interesting to see how many nay sayers bought Saros.

As a side note does anyone ever buy anything that is value for money? (Games in a sale aside) Literally everything I buy/pay for in life feels overpriced in this day and age.

Premium even though I have never and probably never will play a 'premium' offering unless they steer away from adding retro, so old, games. I think the most appealing thing about plus is the online part and is what people mainly pay for.

Nice, I liked what I played on GP but people were rainbow kicking the ball to much for my liking. Might try it again, I am looking for a decent Football game but Fifa etc aren't for me. Didn't care for Sifu at all.

Don't really care either, I think it's just another case of the minority with the loudest voice. If it makes games easier/better then I'll play them, if it makes them worse or crappy then I won't. It really doesn't put me off a game at all.

@RoomWithaMoose because if they make less games they can put more effort into the fewer they make. Anyway South of Midnight was mediocre at best, played it on Xbox. There's to many mediocre crap games out there SoM is one of them, opinion I suppose but the less of SoM games the better for me.

@RoomWithaMoose cba'd getting into a lengthly discussion about it I was just writing my opinion, either way I guess we're going to find out in the future. As a side note I have no interest in ND or intergalactic either so wouldn't blink if they were affected.

@RoomWithaMoose or better games with more polish. You can't be certain it's bad as I can't be certain it's good. What is certain is that it was inevitable and as none of us are multi billion dollar businessmen/woman so we can't really judge. I'm guessing those affected will be fine and be able to find alternative employment, sucks but that's life, I care about these people as much as they care about me and my employment status.

Meh it'll be fine, it's not like my job is at risk so not really fussed. It couldn't go on forever, there's to many devs as it is, the trash will get taken out and what remains will be better quality games. Like pruning a plant, cut off the dead bits so the rest can grow. There will always be games so I'm not sweating this at all, it's life, evolution, nothing stays forever and devs are no exception. It can't just continue to grow without cutbacks from time to time. There's a tipping point and we are there now.

Lol how will they enforce this, if any of my kids were under 16 I would just make them a false account. Change their date of birth, let them use mine, another impossible to uphold law, won't last long and as soon as the current government is ousted which they definitely will be it will more than likely get changed back anyway. Actually seems decent, don't get the souls reference yet other than in the tutorial you die and can reclaim your body? The level designs maybe are souls like. Solo is a thing but I only encountered one other player in my 2 runs and killed him. I also like how by default crossplay is turned off but there's no console only sadly so it will stay off for me. Definitely worth a try though and don't be put off by soulslike, I don't get that vibe yet but I have yet to die. Will play more tomorrow for sure.

Maybe, I might be burnt out on extractions tbh. Souls like and extraction does sound interesting but full crossplay? If it's with PC then it will be riddled with cheaters in a few months, tops. Console only crossplay then maybe, will probably check it out, it's free so...

I'll give it a go at some point however the side quest thing is disappointing, I love a side quest. I'll try just doing the hunts but I don't hold much hope, I found the remake that's on extra pretty boring after thirtyish hours so .. Side quests for me make or break on the rewards obtained, not whatever story is tacked to them.

Yeah happy enough with Extra, would never have bought FF16 or Blades but I get to try them now. Premium is a joke again, there's absolutely no game you could add before PS4 era that would get me to vote otherwise, I don't play old games. Anything PS4 would more than likely be a bad choice as well. They don't have to be AAA just something unique, Bellwright for example would of been an excellent example so I bought it instead.

Awsome game 62 hours in on chapter 8, I've been playing it the lat few days after giving it a rest, it's that kind of game. I think I'll still be playing it after finishing the story, there's so much to do the story feels like the side mission. I'm finding it playable without guides, recently unlocked the hot air balloon, I didn't even know it was a thing, awsome moment. They are the instances of discovery you don't experience when you use guides, it's why I play blind, I was like wtf, wow.

Plenty of games coming out I'm interested in, none are Ubisoft though so meh, whatever. Sucks but they'll be alright, might have to tighten their purse strings for a while but I'm sure they have a few quid.

Pretty good, three games I'll play, FF16, Blades and when I'm particularly bored Farming Sim.

It's not bad, leveled up a lot and killed a couple of the bosses, lit up two orbs on the fountain but I play blind and haven't looked anything up or used any guides. If you play like that there's no way this is a 10/10 or GOTY. It's not bad though, it gives me the souls itch so I bought Khazan (or whatever) the First Berserker, enjoying it much more (blind) and a much better game, I don't know if TFB could be considered a GOTY.

Oo yeah day 1 for me, it may have become my most anticipated game. Played the early access version on GP and it was a great game then, should be well polished by now, happy days. Straight to my number one purchase. Beware though, it's incredibly hard.

Only picked two, not interested in the majority of these games. No rest and Runescape (which is only a maybe). Would of ticked Dune but it's releasing on GP so I'll play it there. I very rarely if ever buy SP games at launch.

Unless it's on GP I'm buying it on PS anyway. Dune is going to GP on day one so there's a good chance No Rest will as well, either way I'm looking forward to it, one of the few games I'm excited about from SoP.

Can't stand this guy or any Youtuber/streamer I've ever watched (I have kids) but im interested in GOALS, it's supposed to be completely script free. Might have to get it played and break my F2P hate. It's purposefully avoided using licensed players to try and avoid the Meta problem. Damn shame they are going to be using tools instead, doesn't sound quite as appealing anymore, bit of an own goal tbh.

I've strangely not played season 2 yet, I will but I just cba'd atm. I think it's the no love for solo thing, shame. Hope it does well but I think they have dropped the ball leaving solos out for the best parts of the game. A tdm mode would really be a good idea as well.

No rest from the wicked looks best for me.

I didn't watch it but have looked at all the games now, I have my eye on No Rest for the Wicked, Dune and Runscape. The rest don't look to bad just not my kind of games.

Sounds a bit meh, Dino one sounds ok and I'll check out Wolverine I suppose. I don't like GoW or Tombraiders so nothing really jumps out at me.

I really did lol, no hate or anything but as soon as I saw this article I knew what the poll results would be 😆 I was spot on. Personally this is the first month I think I haven't voted the Meh option. Funny lol, it's obvious my tastes differ from the majority here. Boats and floats and that.

Clockwork Revolution looks amazing, up to now it's only an Xbox title and PC and is hitting GP on launch day. It's by far the first SP game I have been looking forward to in years, would be a shame for PS to miss out on that one. It looks like a system seller to me.

7/10 seems fair, I bought the game and it's decent but by no means is this close to the 10/10 some critics gave it. As for the modifiers (cheats), I'd rather never finish the game and would/will simply quit and move on before ever using them. I hate how they are even a thing. £16 though is a bargain.

I never watch them, I can't be doing with all the twaddle in-between the games. I'll either watch the highlights or read about it.

I don't really have an opinion about AI though, take it or leave it, couldn't care less to be honest.

I've never liked Kojima anyway and I've never heard of the other guy. If you bow down to these 'celebs', put them on a mantle and worship these kind of people you deserve everything you get. Turds, the lot of them.

I'll more than likely get this game some time just not right now. I also find these articles interesting, it's nice to know the quality of your console. I bet people that are 'tired' of these articles wouldn't be saying the same if it was the other way round. Say the Pro wasn't performing and there was a different more negative tone to the articles.

I'll be jumping back on for season 2, free weekend is a good idea. Hopefully they will add some incentive for solo runners. Forcing people into squads for the good stuff is one of the things holding the playerbase back as well as it being niche, that was one of the most appealing things Arc did right.

I can't see it lasting much longer than season 2 either tbh, kind of burnt out myself. Looking forward to season 2 and the PvE mode funnily enough and I wish they would add more solo content, I do feel kind of burnt that they said it would be a solo game as well but have added literally nothing other than a solo queue. I can't get along with squads even with my friends who are awsome at the game. I like to do my own thing. I can't complain to much, I've had my monies worth and will simply move on if they don't cater to solos.

Nice month, Grounded is great, never played Darktide so now's a good time to jump in, loved Vermintide 2 and it was very playable with randomers. Don't like fighting games so doubt I'll try the All Stars. Happy enough.
