It depends on how EA handles crossplay and bots for me, hate both. Crossplay with PC splits the playerbase and that opens the door to bots filling empty slots. I know they said bots wouldn't be in our community games but what does that mean? I just want to play conquest 24/7 without ever having bots. As soon as I see a bot it will be game over for me. There were/are bots all over 2042. Hope CoD gets dethroned but like others have said, no chance, CoD is a fast paced arena game, totally different. I'll no doubt buy both, like the good ole days.

I jumped on it yesterday but didn't turn crossplay off, I panicked a little thinking it wasn't an option. Just looked it up and you can turn it off in the beta so I might enjoy it a bit more later without PC players. Won't play to much though will wait for launch. BF4 is the one to beat, best BF ever, better than the awsome (but not as good) Bcs, Put over a thousand hours into that game.

The only point I would argue with in the posts since my last post (because most of it is speculation anyway) is Xbox haven't failed in the hardware department this gen, it can't be a fail if it was intentional and we have yet to see how it works out. The fail is just perspective that other platforms imply (or wish for).

Another Gamepass article?! MS are doing something Sony can't (that's business right) and an ex Sony exec doesn't like it? Wow who'd of thunk it. Of course Sony don't like it, the title should of said "Ex Sony exec hates Netflix type game services because Sony can't afford to compete with MSs new business tactic." That's pretty much what he means. He just goes round the houses and tries to make himself out to be a white knight supporting the poor unfortunate devs, who lets not forget, CHOOSE to put their games on GP.

Not bad, already own Spiderman remaster, couldn't get into it. Will try the others except those terrible Premium games. Who the hell would pay for two old PS1 games?!? Oh dammit, I do, doh Can't stand old games, oh well.

Not a fan, tried several times, finished first mission on standard, got A+. The single player is shockingly bad. I play it slow and tactical and did the first mission easily but it just doesn't click with me. I bought the damn deluxe edition as well with all the DLC. I share my account with my youngest (15) he likes it so it's not a complete waste Glad it went down well but I wish i'd of bought something else.

Well they can charge as much as they want for exclusives, when you shoehorn or bottleneck consumers (exclusives) onto one platform then you can charge what you want. I think exclusives have driven up the cost of gaming. If we get rid of exclusives then games will be cheaper I reckon. Time will tell for sure.

Oh lol the Xbox brand is far from dead or sunk Anyway good stuff, i'll still likely purchase this on PS even though I fully support games being ported, even day one games. We should be able to choose where we play our games. Maybe then the competition will be who provides the best service, deals or even, maybe one day, in the far, far future, the deciding factor will be who sells games the cheapest. I won't hold my breath though.

Great game, nearly finished the campaign on hard. I honestly don't get the Xbox is a sinking ship perspective. It's absurd lol. Anyway Xbox getting it would be awsome, the more the merrier. I predicted this future for consoles 10+ years ago, last time I was on this site, i'm shocked more people didn't see it coming. Exclusive just makes the word exclude sound more inclusive. Whenever I read exclusive I always see the word exclude. Never liked them.

Tried a while back, buggy, crappy inventory and it is impossible and I mean impossible to play and enjoy this game without heavily researching the game first. Some might say 'it doesn't hold your hand' but that's just an excuse, if a game is impossible to play without a guide then it's lazy. If you don't research heavily then you will wander round an empty feeling world wondering wtf you do.

Nothing really, slow month for me, bought Ready or not but was very disappointed, may give it another go. Played four games on the list, didn't finish any of them. Will prob go back to Wuchang on GP at some point. Still on DG remaster, nearly finished, I don't seem to be able to stick to one game at the mo. Nothing seems to grab me, to much choice more than likely. Not enough good quality MP games which are my preference. Still have KF3, i girl and that cozy Shire game on my list for PS5 so it's certainly not quality that's the problem, just me Oh actually I finished Robocop but that was on launch day on Xbox, many moons ago, was ok.

Won't be playing the beta i'll just jump straight in on launch. Really want this to be amazing, sick of CoD also. Ps5 purchase for sure, just bought RON on Ps, kinda disappointed to be honest, I don't play betas or watch any gameplay, just jump in so i'm hoping BF6 fills a gap. I'll give RON more time, I didn't even finish the tutorial last night Wasn't feeling it. Just want a decent shooter, CooP or MP.

Pretty weak, weak over on Xbox as well but there's fourteen games coming out, I don't think there's ever been less than ten over there. Five is like really low, weird kinda low. Maybe i'm missing something? Meh /shrug.

They seem to have PS jumping through their hoops and are controlling which direction the gaming market goes. Pretty impressive for a dead platform. S/c.

Even if MS is (big if) a publisher, nothing has changed for Xbox users, still getting great games on GP and we can still buy games if we want. Only seems to be a problem on other platforms. If you have an Xbox there really are no complaints.

Nice, will buy in about two months (if I can hold out ) going on holiday soon. Really wanna play it though. Will be a PS5 purchase even though I don't mind CooP with PC.

Will keep an eye on it, hope it's not full of cringe, the games title is pretty cringey. Little scrotes use the word round here all the time, even though you know their mummies bought them their electric bikes and balaclavas I hate the word now. Live up north as well.

Good month, managing to build up a backlog thanks to the service at last. Played some already on GP but i'll play them again, especially on the PS5/Pro, will be a better experience I reckon. Added Banishers to the list of will plays as well.

I'll give it a go and see. This is defo a PS5 title for me even if it was on GP (which is unlikely), turn crossplay off! Pesky PC FPSers.

It's the cost and sheer volume of games. To many and they all cost to much at launch. It's that simple. Drop the price and people will buy it. Ofc it's the new generations fault for liking the wrong games. Damn them. s/c. 71 on MC is to much of a gamble for many these days as there are cheaper games/services out there and probably just as good, might as well grab it in a sale and then take the risk. Maybe people are sick of 'researching' every game or watching some streamer play for several hours just to make sure you're not wasting your money? My opinion.

Funny that I don't know anyone that has a Switch 2. Everyone I know has an Xbox or PS/, noboidy at work has a S2, neither any of my friends, nor any of the people at the gym/shrug. There's no way I would pay £80 for a bog standard version of a game these days. No game is worth it. The market isn't what it used to be. Anyway good news

What a palavar you lot are in. Shame you don't have an Xbox then you could try it for practically free instead of getting your knickers in a twist over a review. I forgot though, no point having an Xbox right.....looking forward to it myself when I get round to it.

Sounds about right to me. Wasn't impressed with Rogue City or the £40 price tag and there was no NG+ when I finished it. £40 might be cheap to some but I was gutted I didn't wait for a sale. £20 is about right. I'll wait for this to hit PS+. If these games didn't have Robocop in the title they would tank. Robocop is the only appeal the gameplay was very mediocre.

Good stuff. The more the merrier. Who knows how it will turn out!? Just sit back enjoy the ride and adapt, that's how gaming has been for 30+ years. It's called evolution. MS may not have a winning tactic, can't tell yet, certainly making others dance to their tune though.

I'm part of the 3%! Abiotic Factor and yeah i'm happy enough with the Premium offerings for a change. Some good games Zoo Planet, Cyberpunk (even though not a fan), Banishers (read up on it, doubt it's for me) even if all arent to my liking there's a few on there i'll play at some point.

PS+ was ok, I don't expect much from that service but it's good enough for what it is. I won't be playing them though.

I don't mind it, never been into skating games and have never played any TH games o.O Only played a bit, bought the £18 upgrade on Xbox for the extra little perks and gave it a go. Liking it, though i'm not very good but can't complain I suppose I need to practice.

Tried the first on Extra or whatever, wasn't a fan so not very hyped at all for this. Looks like it's going to be pushed hard At the time of writing there are 5 articles under 'Todays news' and they are all about this game.

Good month, wasn't a fan of Cyberpunk but New World is ok for an MMORPG. Will give Banishers a go (never heard of it) but Anibiotic Factory is my most anticipated. I've been turning my PS on every day wondering if it was out yet. Could just look but i'm not the googling type.

@SeaDaVie I don't understand? Did the Devs that made the remaster complain? As far as I can tell the answer to your 'comment' i've already answered in my original post? /shrug.

@Flaming_Kaiser we'll see, I personally don't think it is. Of course people that get laid off complain. These Devs were not forced to put their game on GP.

Aww man, sucks but that's life. After spending 68 Bill MS need to snip off the loose ends/threads. The staff will be alright, if not they will have to get a different job stacking shelves or something until something better comes along. That's life, billions of people in the same boat.

If MS don't invest, like an OP has suggested, what did they do with 68 bill not long ago? Pretty sure that was the biggest investment in gaming.

Another one I don't really care about. It's never effected me and I love online gaming, just hardly any decent ones on console anymore so I mostly play SP these days. 9 years is long enough. Surely if they are not allowed to close the servers then they will have millions of servers that few people play on? Either way, don't care. Another bandwagon.

Don't really care, I have both consoles anyway and have always hated the exclusive dominated markets. The change has been a long time coming, lets see if Sony can keep up now it's more consumer focused. The switch 2 lol, forget it.

MS still have forty games in production, its portfolio hasn't changed much. I won't miss these games. At least MS have an excuse, when you buy a 68 bill company, makes sense to me you are going to have to lay a hell of a lot of people off. MS more than likely have staff that can do the jobs already and don't need them. That's my take, might be wrong. I don't know if Sony/PS can say the same. I'm not a share holder so wouldn't know, sounds like there's a lot of shareholders in here though ^^

My mate (my only mate on PS ) bought the ultimate edition yesterday for £20 (I have it on Xbox) I don't think many people would pay £60+ for it now, some but not many. Sucks. He actually lol'd and was like WTF it's still £60!!?? Until he saw the £20 version and was happy to pay that.

@Lowdefal I know, I assumed it was a reward. The game was probably made by pearl clutchers for pearl clutchers. I also assumed it was aimed at younger audiences but it's definitely suggestive.

Well, Japan does love its schoolgirls. Game looks ok, i'll keep an eye on it, do like a roguelite. Any 'pearl clutching' is warrantied, in fact, i'd say that this game is aimed at that audience. Just look at the pics above, why else would a schoolgirl be going to battle in a bikini? Maybe she's hot? Or is that the school uniform? Either way it's weird but if the game's good, meh, who cares?

I'll keep an eye on it, I really liked the first season but the second season dragged a little. Amos (I think he was called) was awsome, hope he's in the game He kept me watching it but it became to focused on the finding of that womans kid, it all became a bit of a drag after that, I don't rate her at all. Was ok though.
Also that fake accent, the ones the people born in space use (can't remember the name) >.< almost turned me right off the show.

Oooo pleasant surprise, Anbiotic Factory sounds right up my street. I'll certainly give that a bash, not sure when but that's a good game (at least sounds like) for me, love survival/crafting games.
However TM will be a defo skip for me. Not into older games, tried to play them, just can't Was great in its day though. Will be nice for fans of nostalgia.

@DaveTheRave I honestly don't care, not in a nasty way, just an honest way. I'm a consumer not an employee, I care about that emplyee about as much as they care about me and right now as a consumer i'm getting an amazing deal. How long will it last? Who knows? I'll leave that to the billionaire business men/women at MS to figure out. Even if I did care i'm not going to pretend I would know, I'm just going to ride the wave whilst I can and enjoy it.

As long as they keep on pumping out games on GP I really don't care, my heart strings are completely unmoved. Nobody would care if I lost my job. It's a jungle out there, for everybody /shrug. Interesting read though.

That's why it will always be my second platform. Sucks but that's the way it is. GP is to good. With MS talking about adding Steam to its next console the games available will be doubled, if it works out. Lost in Random is keeping me on Xbox then it's Alters, not long finished Doom and Avowed, before that Atomfall. Maybe after that i'll play the DG remaster that cost me £40, or I could buy another game on PS, OR maybe Wuchang will be out by then and I can play that for practically free on GP, there's other great games launching as well. That's the problem that PS have. Ignore it or play it down as not good enough but I know where my bread is buttered.
Also it's not first party games not being released that's the only problem, it's that they rarely release day one games and when they do, they are also on GP. It's a horrid service.
Might as well throw Rematch in there, £20 saved.

AI is the future, love it or loath it, get used to it I couldn't care less as long as the game is good.

Would be better if it was a Quest 3 but to be fair I don't use mine to play Xbox games. I bought it instead of the PSVR when I bought my Pro. Don't regret it and Horizon (Metas Game Pass) is Awsome at £7.99, need to buy a gunstock to play shooters though £25. Would of been better if it wasn't the S. Meta has many more games than the PSVR2 and pretty much all the 3rd party PS games available on the PSVR2.

So he should, I could never have a known actor in my games and the experience wouldn't be marred at all for me. I don't like actors or celebs in my games. Their parts in any video game are totally overblown and I genuinely believe literally any able bodied person would be able to do it. It's just another way for celebs to make even more money from us. Played the game on Xbox, really good. Has absolutely nothing to do with the acting for me though.
