At least he tried playing the game. But the series will never feel like the game unless he plays it through. The bar for bad video game adaptation has been set so low, even if it sucks, it won't be considered any worse than average
This definitely reminds me of The witness. Those complete reimagining of old games look pretty cool. Just like the PAC man thing coming up (forgot it's name)
I don't know is squeenix is just a big bunch of whiners hoping their complaints will make people buy more, or if they really expect all their games to sell like GTA5. On any case, they are ridiculous.
As much as I hate these massive acquisition, Ubisoft is a company that probably couldn't be made any worse, even if EA was to acquire it.
Also, I'd rather see Microsoft rebuilt Ubisoft from the ground up to make them great again, than have it dismantled by Embracer or another stupidly greedy group that shoots itself in both feet multiple times.
The best thing about this is the cosy warmth you have all around your pc in the winter. I'm not sure it's useful to have a million fps when your screen is only 120.
@naruball And that makes sense. I won't boycott a game or a film because one person behaved poorly. You know it's never the higher ups who get the short end of the stick, but the people who are working their butts off to make a living. You don't want to see them fired.
And don't try to force your friends into boycotting something. It's like stupid diets, politics, religion, sports and every sore subjects. Keep it to yourself and don't be condescending trying to "educate" people because you think you know better...
@nessisonett I'm pretty sure the vast majority of players doesn't follow video game news. So they are not aware of what is happening and have no reason to boycott anything.
@get2sammyb Finally, someone talking about second party games. Can you also fix articles refering to Death Stranding 2 as "first party"? It's made by an independent studio and the IP doesn't belong to Sony.
I don't know any game that would make me pay more just to play a few days early. I think it would even dissuade me from buying a collector's edition. It's like the Disneyland fast pass, so people who spend more can give the finger to others... Such a nasty way of conducting business.
Also I'm more in favour of late access, as in setting a price alert on 3camel. I still have a trillion games in my backlog to keep me busy.
@OldGamer999 make sure to deactivate motion blur in the game. The blur could also come from the motion smoothing, or whatever it's called on your tv. It's often on by default and has some weird results, especially when the frame rate fluctuates
@get2sammyb It's not the first time I've seen Death stranding 2 describes as first party on PushSquare. It should be considered an exclusive, not a first party, since Kojima production is an independent studio and owns the IP.
@AhmadSumadi It's because we love PushSquare and read every single article. Also I liked AC in the past, but they got worse with the bloated Odyssey and straight out awful with Valhalla. I'm just keeping an eye on the series to see if I'd be interested again, but I'll probably just buy Ghost of Yotei and keep avoiding Ubisoft. I my answer satisfied you.
And just a little gift to make you happy: this game is so uninteresting, who would even buy it?
That game needs to be played with HDR. You know, because clair/obscur means bright/dark in french and you need the better contrast... I'll see myself out.
@gaston If you're offering to pay for it, I'll gladly try VR. But I'm not paying the price of a console for an accessory that only has a couple games worth playing.
I'd rather have psvr games playable on TV. And if I have to choose between an accessory with few niche games, or the console that will let me play the next Zelda, the choice is easy.
The Z4 is strangely absent from films and series. I used to have a 2007 version. Great car. Hopefully the game won't crash as often as the onboard system...
I'm looking forward to a Perfect Dark announcement on PS5. Some other Rare revival would be great if they manage to modernise them. I know it's nostalgia talking and it's probably not as good as I remember, but I'd love to see a Jet force Gemini sequel or modern remake.
Is there a Push Square list of must play games by genre somewhere? It would be awesome to have all your highly recommended games in the same place, well sorted with the price when they are on sales.
That makes sense if they trained their AI to copy previous entries in the franchise. Each game is pretty much the same as the previous one. This just shows the laziness of the developer.
EA could do the same with the off brand FIFA and nobody would see a difference
I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but I don't care. I just want a worthy successor to Nier automata. I wonder which studio they'd choose to develop it.
They need to release a BS trailer before even starting development. It wouldn't be a Cyberpunk 2077 game otherwise.
I wonder who will succeed Keanu Reeves in the sequel. I'd upload Ryan Reynolds to my brain for a fun time until I die. But it will probably be a woman this time. Could her name be... Ciri? Or Alexa?
Is there anyone normal amongst the execs, leads, etc. in the video game business?
Years ago I did an internship at a crappy video game dev (since acquired by ubisoft, lol) and both co-CEO were absolute nutjobs who regularly ruined the code because they thought they were competent. And at least one of them had affairs with female employees.
This sounds like AA market was stuck on portable consoles, aka the PSVita Sony abandoned on release. That's too bad.
They could make a great Horizon or GOW spinoff action-adventure in a top down perspective that would sell like hot cakes. They could make 10 of these on the same budget as the main series, lowering the risk and guaranteeing steady income. I'd be up for a 40€ 20h adventure if the gameplay is good.
Another day, another layoffs. They just wait for a game to be finished to sack people. This has nothing to do with success, they just don't want to pay people.
I'm never disappointed for 2 reasons: I don't expect anything from Sony, and I don't watch state of play. I'd rather rely on a certain website called PushSquare.

Another reason why I'll stick to buying games on sales rather than paying for a steep subscription

Re: A New PlayStation Studio Just Got Confirmed on a Podcast
The name is so edgy, it sounds like the studio will only make emo games.
Re: Saints Row Team Thrown Under the Bus: 'They Didn't Know What They Were Building'
"They were so expensive for what they were" that is harsh! But probably true.
The guy sounds arrogant, but he managed to save Saber from the demonic claws of Embracer.
