The most difficult part in the first one was to take the game seriously during the Mario and princess Beach part.
If there is a similarly ridiculous scene in DS2, turning it into a visual novel would definitely fix it. You'd just need a high school girl yelling "tasukete Porter-senpai!"
I guess naughty dog was sick and tired of people asking about a potential third entry.
"It's complete alright? No more, now we're going to space!"... Hang on... Is intergalactic in the same universe after leaving earth because of zombies?
I think it has some incredibly lazy things like the missing door texture or the ugly low res jpeg background at the end of the game.
That aside, the game was good. Main characters were beautifully modelled and side characters looked like weird dolls. Full voice acting was really nice. The battle system was much better than FF15.
And it was missing the rest of the game, but still felt kind of like a standalone with open ending. But I didn't feel like buying the sequel. Maybe if it drops to 30-35€
Hopefully this RPG rise isn't about crappy mobile idle games, but actual RPG like Final fantasy, Xenoblade or Baldur's gate (without any mass layoffs this time)
Developers are getting lazy and rely way too much on ray tracing and upscaling, hence the catastrophic optimisation for so many games that don't even look better than some 10 year old games
Not buying games at a ridiculous price would send a message and put Sony and Nintendo back in line. But people are raised as sheeps and accept everything, so it's only going to get worse. Ps6 will cost 1000€ and games might be over 100€ at some point.
At least the game upgrades seem to be consistent, unlike PS4 to PS5 upgrade which made no sense. Sometimes free, sometimes paid and sometimes there was no upgrade possibilities. And the power jump will be more interesting. Games have barely evolved since the PS4
Square enix would find these numbers disappointing. MH isn't my cup of tea, but I know how much care they put into the past entries. So it's nice to see another success.
I killed the entire medical team without a second thought. I didn't even try to spare them and only felt relieved I could save Ellie.
I was really absorbed by the game, so I wouldn't see any other possibilities if it was happening in real life. Not to mention cutting her open wouldn't guarantee a cure. And I'm not sure a humanity so far gone could be saved even with a cure. So thinking about the repercussions of his choice would only make it right.
Netflix is the embodiment of the subscription, all digital and always online distopias. So anything he says means very little as it is just marketing strategy in favour of his platform.
I'd love to be proven wrong, but that film will be an abysmal diarrhea. I don't see whey anyone would approve a live action Zelda, especially not Miyamoto. There were so many better choices amongst anime studios. I'd even take the awful studio Visual Flight which murdered Ex-Arm over a live action film.
@jackst Most news outlets are corrupted and are always trying to force the idea of an all digital dystopia. This is why you see so many poorly written articles with stupid numbers about digital Vs physical, never taking into account the fact that many games, like indies, are digital only.
Considering it failed to sell, it's more of a political statement than a social impact. I don't know anything about this game, but the series seems to have made a turn for the worse with more expensive games that sold less and less
At least he tried playing the game. But the series will never feel like the game unless he plays it through. The bar for bad video game adaptation has been set so low, even if it sucks, it won't be considered any worse than average
This definitely reminds me of The witness. Those complete reimagining of old games look pretty cool. Just like the PAC man thing coming up (forgot it's name)
I don't know is squeenix is just a big bunch of whiners hoping their complaints will make people buy more, or if they really expect all their games to sell like GTA5. On any case, they are ridiculous.
As much as I hate these massive acquisition, Ubisoft is a company that probably couldn't be made any worse, even if EA was to acquire it.
Also, I'd rather see Microsoft rebuilt Ubisoft from the ground up to make them great again, than have it dismantled by Embracer or another stupidly greedy group that shoots itself in both feet multiple times.
The best thing about this is the cosy warmth you have all around your pc in the winter. I'm not sure it's useful to have a million fps when your screen is only 120.
@naruball And that makes sense. I won't boycott a game or a film because one person behaved poorly. You know it's never the higher ups who get the short end of the stick, but the people who are working their butts off to make a living. You don't want to see them fired.
And don't try to force your friends into boycotting something. It's like stupid diets, politics, religion, sports and every sore subjects. Keep it to yourself and don't be condescending trying to "educate" people because you think you know better...
@nessisonett I'm pretty sure the vast majority of players doesn't follow video game news. So they are not aware of what is happening and have no reason to boycott anything.
@get2sammyb Finally, someone talking about second party games. Can you also fix articles refering to Death Stranding 2 as "first party"? It's made by an independent studio and the IP doesn't belong to Sony.

Re: The Witcher 4 Dev Warns Against Beta Test Scam
Are you telling me the people who asked me for my banking info, so I can enjoy a free beta of the Witcher 4, tried to scam me?
So that explain why the installer was named really-bad-virus.exe, was so small and didn't update Direct X.
Re: Oblivion PS5 Remaster Expected to Have Overhauled Gameplay, Based on Older Leaks
Imagine all this is a leftover fake from 1st of April. So many people would be disappointed.
Re: 'You'll See the Difference,' Says Bend Studio of Days Gone PS5's Improvements
Still not interested in this game, even if it looks 10% better on PS5.
Re: Bring Home a Hyper-Realistic Replica of Stellar Blade's Eve Soon
They would make so much more money calling this statue a doll.
Re: Switch 2 Fans Can’t Stand Seeing Nintendo’s New Console Compared to the 12-Year-Old PS4
@UltimateOtaku91 You summed it up pretty well. It does feel like a squirrel challenging a fish to a tree climbing race.
Re: Switch 2 Fans Can’t Stand Seeing Nintendo’s New Console Compared to the 12-Year-Old PS4
Anyone with half a brain won't care about playstation comparison. 2 widely different ecosystems:
I could go on, but you get my point. It's like comparing a coffee maker and a TV. Both needs a power socket to work and that's about it.
Re: Nintendo Is Losing Its Identity, Says Ex-PlayStation Boss
Always going for something new and different came with a price. And Nintendo went through some dark times, especially with the Wii U.
After the success of the switch, going for anything else than the Switch 2 would have been pure madness.

Re: PS5 Pro Version of Assassin's Creed Shadows Rivals Ultra High-End PCs, Says Ubisoft
@UltimateOtaku91 The price is definitely different. I think you're mistaking people saying "it's not worth upgrading" for "there is no difference".

Re: Ex-PlayStation, Bloodborne Producer Opens New Studio for 'High-End Console' Games
I'd prefer the games to be high end, rather than the target console. That's a producer for you.

Re: PS5 Players See Switch 2 as a Secondary Console, Not Direct Competition
I'm sure the PS5 is considered a secondary console on Nintendo Life. Asking fans on a fan site won't give you objective results.

Re: PS5 vs Switch 2: Full Tech Specs Comparison
@chiliPismysig I'm guessing some people need to convinces themselves they are still playstation fans in the stupidest way possible.
I would just as useful to compare the specs with a game&watch, a Fitbit or a smart lightbulb.

Re: The Last of Us Showrunner Isn't Concerned About Bella Ramsey's Ellie Looking Too Young in Season 2
@Arkz agreeing with you would get me censored by the PC police, but you're right (dammit, my honesty leaked out!).
Even if you ignore what she looks like, she has zero expression on her face. Some actors are just bad and can't live up to their roles.
Re: The Oblivion Remake Will Release This Week, Says Bold New Rumour
Rumour on first of April. I can't think of anything I would trust more
Re: Death Stranding Celebrates 20 Million Players Milestone as PS5 Sequel Approaches
20 millions? I thought it would be more niche than this. Then again, Elden ring gave PTSD to over 28 million players.

So now we have GaaS masquerading as DLCs? I'll just remove the base game from my wishlist, this is just too dumb.

The name is so edgy, it sounds like the studio will only make emo games.

"They were so expensive for what they were" that is harsh! But probably true.
The guy sounds arrogant, but he managed to save Saber from the demonic claws of Embracer.

I'm amazed there was even a single player. Did they forget to advertise it? That name doesn't ring a bell at all.
