Re: As War on AI Rages, Two Zenless Zone Zero Stars Say They Were Replaced Without Prior Notice

@naruball And that makes sense. I won't boycott a game or a film because one person behaved poorly. You know it's never the higher ups who get the short end of the stick, but the people who are working their butts off to make a living. You don't want to see them fired.

And don't try to force your friends into boycotting something. It's like stupid diets, politics, religion, sports and every sore subjects. Keep it to yourself and don't be condescending trying to "educate" people because you think you know better...

Re: Death Stranding 2 Puts Early Access Incentives Under the Microscope All Over Again

Rhaoulos

I don't know any game that would make me pay more just to play a few days early. I think it would even dissuade me from buying a collector's edition. It's like the Disneyland fast pass, so people who spend more can give the finger to others... Such a nasty way of conducting business.

Also I'm more in favour of late access, as in setting a price alert on 3camel. I still have a trillion games in my backlog to keep me busy.

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Gameplay Goes In-Depth on Combat, Stealth, Character Progression

@AhmadSumadi It's because we love PushSquare and read every single article. Also I liked AC in the past, but they got worse with the bloated Odyssey and straight out awful with Valhalla. I'm just keeping an eye on the series to see if I'd be interested again, but I'll probably just buy Ghost of Yotei and keep avoiding Ubisoft. I my answer satisfied you.

And just a little gift to make you happy: this game is so uninteresting, who would even buy it?

Re: Sony Hits Back Hard at Bungie Lead's $200 Million Lawsuit

Rhaoulos

Is there anyone normal amongst the execs, leads, etc. in the video game business?

Years ago I did an internship at a crappy video game dev (since acquired by ubisoft, lol) and both co-CEO were absolute nutjobs who regularly ruined the code because they thought they were competent. And at least one of them had affairs with female employees.

Re: Sony Japan Studio Closed Because AA Market 'Disappeared', Says Shu Yoshida

Rhaoulos

This sounds like AA market was stuck on portable consoles, aka the PSVita Sony abandoned on release. That's too bad.

They could make a great Horizon or GOW spinoff action-adventure in a top down perspective that would sell like hot cakes. They could make 10 of these on the same budget as the main series, lowering the risk and guaranteeing steady income. I'd be up for a 40€ 20h adventure if the gameplay is good.
