Difficulty is one thing, but the only thing I hated in elden ring was the complete absence of QOL, like the absence of pause while offline, or a quest journal (without clear objectives, just quest log)

It's insane they never remastered it. It had "legend" in the game cube title and it was well deserved. Although I'm not sure it has aged well. A remaster might need some QOL and animation improvements.

Clearly a smart move, like Nintendo usually does. Never announce a game or its release too early. There is an army of idiots (investors, producers and gamers alike) that will complain about any delays, because they don't have the brain power to understand a delay might be necessary to release a finished and polished game

I always picture assassins as thin and quiet people. I don't get why they make a mountain of muscles and call it an assassin. That was already the case in Valhalla and they did it again with the black guy. At least the kunoichi looks like an assassin.

That money doesn't belong to EA, so they don't really care. If they're lucky enough, this will discourage rabbit investors trying to turn a quick profit at the expense of videogame quality. EA will be better off with smaller investors who might actually give a hoot about long term image of the company and videogame quality. But this sounds like pure fiction...

They should keep trolling everyone saying it'll be a PS6 launch title with a fake box design, or say they restarted the dev from scratch because 2D wasn't enough and it's now a VR game.

When a videogame company doesn't support an accessory or console, it means they didn't believe in it. Just like the psvita. Why even bother releasing it?

Remasters of a game that can be played for 1/4 of the price on the same console via retrocompatibility make no sense to me. They should at least aim for proper remasters of older successful games with QOL and proper visual enhancements.

Sony is like the kid who declares a competition after running like crazy when Nintendo didn't even know Sony was around. Then Sony cheats declaring it sold more PS2 than it actually did when Nintendo, still oblivious of Sony's ridiculous existence, has it's 3rd console in the top 5 best selling consoles of all time, about to dethrone the allegedly best selling console with approximate sales numbers (we're talking million-ish sales that can magically grow 5 million 20 years after death, compared to the 10k accurate sales from Nintendo, even back in the days of the NES/Famicom)

There is always this vocal minority of nasty self proclaimed "true fans" who are just the worst. Turning to harassment is just the cherry on top.

Let's hope Ubisoft doesn't need a catastrophic loss with AC shadow to start making good games again.

Trophy "hunting" doesn't make any sense. I'll never understand the obsession for it. You either play a game to have fun, or play some competitive games if that's what you're into.

It's funny how an underwear shot, a cleavage, or a playing card raises the rating more than lootbox gambling, murder, violence of any kind.

The humour in Borderlands must be hard to get just right. It relies on a bunch of annoying characters, and it can very quickly turn to pure annoyance, rather than fun, depending on your mood. Good luck to them.

What genre do Xbox players like? I have a pretty clear idea for Nintendo and Sony, but I'm not sure what the Xbox audience actually enjoys, except for Forza and Halo.

I wish I could forget everything about this game and enjoy it all over again. It was so much superior to the sequel story wise. The remaster probably makes it a better game in every way. At least, Aloy isn't a disrespectful little brat in this one.

"the developer isn't charging full price". That sentence makes no sense. 50$ is full price, so is 20$ for some indy games. 80$ is giving players the bird and is rarely justified.

A friend used to say "if it's free, that means you are the product". But in recent years, it also applies to paid items and "services".

Also Abstergo is clearly a less evil version of Ubisoft.

And this is why you should always pre-order the most expensive version of every single game. So other players can play a more polished version at a reduced price.

Ubisoft would fit better with EA or Activision. Make a giant evil conglomerate. The could even acquire Ubisoft via micro transactions and DLCs.
