Probably part of his contract. I've seen so many people say their film/series/game is the best thing in the universe... until it flops. Then they take a huge dump on it and blame everyone else.
If they want it to fail, they just need to leave hogwarts right after the intro and focus only on a bigger and even more boring open world. Who wouldn't dream of a thousand Merlin quests?
"the map size of the game was the size of Europe" that one big red flag. Big and boring, or so ambitious it will never see the light of day (looking at you star citizen)
Difficulty is one thing, but the only thing I hated in elden ring was the complete absence of QOL, like the absence of pause while offline, or a quest journal (without clear objectives, just quest log)
The price will drop anyway, so I can grab it when it's right for me and the bugs have been ironed out thanks to the beta-ish testers who paid full price.
Sadly, layoffs will probably continue for years. Especially if they start relying on stupid AI for everything. But they will keep the overly paid, poor decision making idiots at the top.
It's insane they never remastered it. It had "legend" in the game cube title and it was well deserved. Although I'm not sure it has aged well. A remaster might need some QOL and animation improvements.
@LikelySatan Viking samurai. Everyone know about them. Admit it, you just wanted to be agressive because I said "black guy". I just can't be bothered to remember Ubisoft character names, nothing against you people.
Clearly a smart move, like Nintendo usually does. Never announce a game or its release too early. There is an army of idiots (investors, producers and gamers alike) that will complain about any delays, because they don't have the brain power to understand a delay might be necessary to release a finished and polished game
I always picture assassins as thin and quiet people. I don't get why they make a mountain of muscles and call it an assassin. That was already the case in Valhalla and they did it again with the black guy. At least the kunoichi looks like an assassin.
That money doesn't belong to EA, so they don't really care. If they're lucky enough, this will discourage rabbit investors trying to turn a quick profit at the expense of videogame quality. EA will be better off with smaller investors who might actually give a hoot about long term image of the company and videogame quality. But this sounds like pure fiction...
They should keep trolling everyone saying it'll be a PS6 launch title with a fake box design, or say they restarted the dev from scratch because 2D wasn't enough and it's now a VR game.
When a videogame company doesn't support an accessory or console, it means they didn't believe in it. Just like the psvita. Why even bother releasing it?
Remasters of a game that can be played for 1/4 of the price on the same console via retrocompatibility make no sense to me. They should at least aim for proper remasters of older successful games with QOL and proper visual enhancements.
Sony is like the kid who declares a competition after running like crazy when Nintendo didn't even know Sony was around. Then Sony cheats declaring it sold more PS2 than it actually did when Nintendo, still oblivious of Sony's ridiculous existence, has it's 3rd console in the top 5 best selling consoles of all time, about to dethrone the allegedly best selling console with approximate sales numbers (we're talking million-ish sales that can magically grow 5 million 20 years after death, compared to the 10k accurate sales from Nintendo, even back in the days of the NES/Famicom)
Well, that's what happens when every single video game news outley is trying to promote digital over physical. You guys destroyed jobs, or at least you participated a little.
That doesn't make any sense, but I'll take it over watching "Le père noël est une ordure" for the 900th time. It's a french comedy that has been broadcasted every single Christmas on every single channel for the past 40 years.
Trophy "hunting" doesn't make any sense. I'll never understand the obsession for it. You either play a game to have fun, or play some competitive games if that's what you're into.
But completing tedious checklists when you could do literally anything makes no sense whatsoever.
The humour in Borderlands must be hard to get just right. It relies on a bunch of annoying characters, and it can very quickly turn to pure annoyance, rather than fun, depending on your mood. Good luck to them.
What genre do Xbox players like? I have a pretty clear idea for Nintendo and Sony, but I'm not sure what the Xbox audience actually enjoys, except for Forza and Halo.
I wish I could forget everything about this game and enjoy it all over again. It was so much superior to the sequel story wise. The remaster probably makes it a better game in every way. At least, Aloy isn't a disrespectful little brat in this one.
"the developer isn't charging full price". That sentence makes no sense. 50$ is full price, so is 20$ for some indy games. 80$ is giving players the bird and is rarely justified.
And this is why you should always pre-order the most expensive version of every single game. So other players can play a more polished version at a reduced price.
@carlos82 That was my first thought, but there were barely any worthy PS5 exclusive at launch, so the competition wasn't great. In the end that article means absolutely nothing and the comparison doesn't make much sense.

I always find it laughable and sad when you specify an update is free.
Re: The Ghoul Says Fallout Season 2 Blows the First 'Out of the Water'
@PegasusActual93 No doubt about this. I was just saying how quick people are to sh*t on what they were promoting.

Can death stranding 2 be considered first party? It's an exclusive, but Kojima isn't part of playstation.
Re: PS Plus Premium Subscribers Offered Free LEGO Horizon Demo
I don't get why demos are locked behind a subscription. Aren't they meant to convince as many people to buy the full game?
Re: PSN Down as PS5, PS4 Players Can't Log In or Play Online
I'm pretty sure you need to make a vow of miscommunication when you join Sony. They just can't ever communicate anything properly.

Re: Xbox Boss Wants to Beat PS6 on Hardware Capabilities, Not Necessarily Games
I'll go for Xbox if it can run on windows with working drivers. Pretty much if I can turn it into a normal pc since the hardware is identical.

Re: 2023's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Outsold Ubisoft's Outlaws in 2024
Let's hope Ubisoft doesn't need a catastrophic loss with AC shadow to start making good games again.

Crap... Sony is Microsofting anime.
Re: Dominant Balatro Dev Pokes Fun at Absurd PEGI Ratings Debacle
It's funny how an underwear shot, a cleavage, or a playing card raises the rating more than lootbox gambling, murder, violence of any kind.
It's like the US logic: considering guns perfectly acceptable toys, but kinder surprise and unpasteurised cheese are considered dangerous.

The game is called "Final Fantasy". I think it's fitting. Also the internet exists, so does rule 34.
Re: Gamers Are Reportedly More Interested in Watching Games Than Actually Playing Them
Gamers who don't play. Can they even be called gamers? I'd call them watchers, or passive game enthusiasts.

I guess worshippers of Satan can also enjoy Baldur's gate 3.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Offers $20 Premium 'Pay-to-Hear' Audio Tech
It's funny how the worst companies become parody of themselves (EA, Ubisoft, Activision, Bethesda).
At this rate, they will sell hardware acceleration separately in the next entry. And audio will need to be bought in lootboxes.
Re: Horizon Zero Dawn PS5 Is an Absolutely Insane Upgrade

Re: Lawsuit Alleges Ubisoft Illegally Shared Users' Data with Meta
A friend used to say "if it's free, that means you are the product". But in recent years, it also applies to paid items and "services".
Also Abstergo is clearly a less evil version of Ubisoft.

"Date or a life" would have been a good title. Also the face doesn't match the voice at all.
Re: Tencent, Guillemot Family Reportedly Considering Ubisoft Buyout
Ubisoft would fit better with EA or Activision. Make a giant evil conglomerate. The could even acquire Ubisoft via micro transactions and DLCs.
