At this point, there have been more games than anime seasons, films and spin-offs. And the games aren't exactly known for their quality.

Technologies like PSSR, DLSS and FSR are just trying to make up for developers giving up entirely on optimisation. Some games don't even run in 720p or 30fps and are relying on those technologies entirely to fake 4K/60FPS.
