@RoomWithaMoose Vanilla or chocolate porridge can be a nice alternative to rice pudding. You can also add some fruit on top of it. Vanilla/peach or chocolate/strawberry is great.

It seems they are aiming for a day one Cyberpunk 2077 level of quality if they are aiming to spit out 3 games so quickly.

PS4 pro was my first playstation and PS5 will be my last. I was happy with the previous gen, but the PS5 showed Sony is going full throttle in the wrong direction. I'll either go back to PC + Nintendo, or maybe try the Gabe Cube if it's price point is good.

I hope that stupid AI mania dies before the release of the Gabe Cube, so the price isn't too steep.

You could also buy a usb C cable to charge your controller... Or use the one that came with the PS5. I really fail to see the point. It will probably be much more expensive than the equivalent from other brands.

Until they come up with better alternatives, I'll stick to physical. I'll only grab digital when the price is much lower than physical.

You forgot to say "Allegedly". I still don't get why they lied about the PS2 sales number. It doesn't make it any less impressive. But now they are just less believable.

I'm not paying today, so double no for me. I never understood the requirement for a subscription on consoles to do something that is free on PC.

You pay for the console, for the game, for your internet connection. Why is it required for paid games that can only be played online? They know it's wrong. This is why they give out games monthly. To try to justify the price.

I really hope they rule against Sony in this case and against Nintendo in the Palworld case.

Protecting an IP makes sense, but trying to prevent any similarity between games is really bad for video games, especially with the market going to hell like these past few years.

I'd personally like to have something closer to HZD than HFW. If the gameplay is good and the heroin isn't a complete turd, I might enjoy Light of moritam more than future Horizon games (as long as it a proper game, not a free to play)

The PS5 is pretty much an RTX PS4 Pro-Pro with SSD. So many games were cross gen and it'll be the same with the PS6. Games aren't optimised anymore and rely on raw power to use frame interpolation and upscaling to hit a pseudo 4K/60FPS with mediocre results.

The past 5 years were by far the least impressive in terms of visual improvements. And I'd even call it regression in many cases. So I perfectly understand his point, and a new gen definitely doesn't get me excited unless Sony innovates for once.

The PS6 won't even need blu ray. DVD should be enough. Maybe with "technical progress", games will be sold on floppy disks in the future. At least young people will know what the save icon represents.

It's probably not a rip-off. I doubt any character can be as obnoxious as Aloy in HFW. She was lovely in HZD, but I didn't like her at all in the sequel.

I think super easy difficulty is important. Not everyone wants to struggle if the difficulty is too high.

Wether you're stuck on a boss, or just don't find the game interesting enough and want to speed through it, an easy difficulty makes the game more playable.

I often quickly lose interest when I beat the main quest, but I still like to explore remain quests, and story difficulty is great for this.

Those indie darling devs should stick to what they do best. I think many studios underestimate the difficulty of making a good 3D game.

It reminds me of Trine 3. The dev just ran out of money and released barely a third of a game because of the switch from 2D to 3D.

That makes me worried about moonlighter 2...

@UltimateOtaku91 You can blame an anime's popularity for the cinema release.

The studio makes so much more money with a 90 minute film than with a 12-24 episode season. I know it's annoying, but it's easy to understand why. Plus we get top-notch quality for the grand finale (This time it's a trilogy for the end of the series. There shouldn't be another season after this.)

I still prefer this to years of waiting, just to get a film that doesn't even fit into the story, like Black clover. Or a new season handled by a crappy studio like so many anime.

Just like video games, manga and anime should never try to please western audience. That's why more and more people enjoy Japanese and Korean works.

Much cheaper than PS5 pro and backwards compatible with PS4/5 games would be the only way to convince me. I'll go back to pc gaming if the PS6 costs 700+€, unless the average wage magically doubles in the next few years.

How is it possible to churn out so many games? They aren't small games, and quite polished compared to most AAA games. If only they could figure out how to include a pause function and rudimentary quest journal.

Hopefully this will push square enix to make a NieR automata sequel. Eve definitely needs competition from a gothic lolita, so they are both the best possible game.

It would be nice to have some proper control on Sony and Nintendo's side BEFORE shovelware hit their eShop. I don't know the current requirements to sell a game, but it's probably mostly automated.

I don't think the antitrust law could ever be applied, even if Microsoft bought everything on the planet. They probably own all the key judges and politicians. And if a judge was to really oppose them, he'd disappear or get suddenly rich and drop the case.

@RatmCky According to mainstream media, it can only be review bombing when it includes even the slightest hind of a sensitive subject.

It's easier for them to call people haters and claim it was review bombed, than admitting your game/series/film has flaws and isn't as good as you think.

"Something" could also be a 8bit demake, or an live action Netflix series (please never consider doing this)

Developing a VR game must be a hard decision to make considering the limited audience. More games should work without VR, regardless of the immersion.
