San Diego Comic-Con is going on right now, and as announced last week, Marvel's Wolverine is joining the festivities with a panel about the game.
Prior to the event, which is scheduled for 11:15am PDT today, Marvel and Insomniac Games revealed a comic book that serves as a prequel to the PS5 exclusive title, telling fans what occurs before the game picks up the storyline.
Here's the official blurb:
The official prequel to the upcoming MARVEL'S WOLVERINE game! Wolverine and the mutants of TEAM X are preparing to infiltrate Sentinel creator Bolivar Trask's secret base--and what they find within will tear them apart!

It's written by Insomniac's narrative director Walt Williams with art by Iban Coello and Luke Ross.
Comic-Con attendees are able to grab an exclusive physical version of the comic, but a digital rendition is available to all via subscription service Marvel Unlimited.
If you're not subscribed, you can create a MyDisney account and then sign up to the service for a free trial, but fair warning, you'll be charged automatically afterwards if you don't cancel in time.
A prequel comic makes a lot of sense to me; I think it's nice to get a bit more context going into the game for those that want it.
