Ask anyone for examples of the worst DLC ever made, and it won't be long before they say horse armour.

Bethesda flogged fresh horse armour in Oblivion for $2.50, and the pack has lived in infamy ever since. At the time, it was a lesson to other developers in how not to handle DLC, though I'm not sure that many studios of today are listening anymore.

Nevertheless, CD Projekt Red is paying homage to that DLC pack from today in The Witcher 3 Remastered.

It's offering new horse armour for Roach in the Fire Horse Gear Set. It kits Roach out with a new saddlebag, saddle, and blinders, all of which are shiny and dark red.

The set is free to earn in terms of money, though you do have to do something to get it: watch Twitch.

Log into your Twitch account and watch a streamer playing The Witcher 3 Remastered that has Twitch Drops enabled for 90 minutes; then you'll gain access to the horse armour. The offer is available from today until 27th October 2026, so you've got just under a month to claim the set.

My recommendation would be to just set your computer up on a Twitch stream, then open up a new tab and continue whatever you were doing. Return 90 minutes later and you should find the download in your Twitch inbox.
