Re: PlayStation Store Sales Charts: FIFA 21 Dominates Both Europe and the US

OthmaneAD

@TheWolfofPGH The only people who are vocal about it are those who don't play fifa, but those who play them are fine with them and are always excited when new packs arrive, also if the US bans them I would be extremely surprised as that would fundemantally change the industry for the best but it's extremely unlikely. Also if you think belgium fifa players are happy you would be wrong as banning the packs just made the ultimate team mode harder to compete with players with other countries and they would rather want it, the matter is the people who actually play the game are happy with them because addiction

Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Backlash as Fans Accuse Ubisoft of Focusing on Microtransactions Over Bug Fixes

OthmaneAD

@Ear_wiG They can add all the microtransaction they want, Ubisoft games are usually large enough to have a lot of armour and weapon types, Ubisoft is one of the only western companies making AAA single player experiences with "0" multiplayer ***** (or very light ones like in watch dogs), if the game is great and you get after 1 year the gold edition for 30% which is just huge amounts of gaming, complaining about microtransactions is just pointless, and those "boosters" are also useless as doing all the side quests will give you the level you want without any need of any booster, now if doing every side quests which are usually great can't get you overpowered now that's a ***** strategy, but Ubisoft knows a lot of people are willing to pay for such things and so they offer them, it's not good to do it but it's business.

Re: Yakuza's Toshihiro Nagoshi Retires As SEGA CCO As Publisher Restructures

OthmaneAD

@TheFrenchiestFry P4G was 20$ on steam and steam takes 30% of the first 10 million $ and 25% between 10m$ and 50m$ and I don't think P4G made that much in steam (found only 500k sold on steam) maybe it's now 1 million but don't think SEGA made that much, however p5r being a ps4 exclusive I'm pretty sure sony don't take 30% on the store or/and they helped fund the developement of the game so SEGA should make way more money on p5r than P4G

Re: PS Plus Looks Like a Steal When Compared to New Xbox Live Gold Prices

OthmaneAD

I don't get the thing that gamepass doesn't have a sony equivalent, psnow is superior to gamepass in every way, free online for psnow games, a superior library (I compared the two and have more games to play than gamepass, I mean psnow has a lot of ps4 and ps3 exclusives that you can't play elsewhere), and before anyone starts bitching about streaming, most good games are on ps4, and I have 12mb down wireless and it works perfectly, psnow may not add as many games as gamepass in a month, but gamepass is just full of cheap indies. and IT'S 50% CHEAPER, I'm sure if Sony priced psnow at 120$ a year we would have only the best games and exclusives at most 6 months from their release

Re: Hitman 3: How to Import All Levels and Locations from Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 on PS5, PS4

OthmaneAD

@Old-Red haha, they are pricing just the HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Gold at 100e (which only the stupid will buy since AFAIK this doesn't give you hitman 2 gold edition only to play the gold edition stages on hitman 2) and you want them them to include everything (besides the base hitman 3 game, hitman 1 access pass, hitman 2 gold access pack and the hitman 3 deluxe pack are 165e so with the base game, that becomes 235e) and you want them to release everything for 70 pounds or 90e LMAO

Re: Soapbox: PS5 Pricing Is Setting Releases Like Returnal Up to Fail

OthmaneAD

@TG16_IS_BAE this is a video game. You can't just increase the magical price (60$) and expect 100% of the consumers that would have bought it at 60$ to buy it at 70$. It worked for demon's souls because everyone who bought a ps5 also bought demon's souls because it's the "only true exclusive" on the system. Moving forward I imagine it will be hard to sell many copies of 70$ games unless it's something from rockstar or the 85+ metacritic franchises/games

Re: Soapbox: PS Plus Collection Isn't PS5 Game Pass, But Its Value Shouldn't Be Ignored

OthmaneAD

@nessisonett uh what? 494 games????? most games are repeating across pc and xbox and just checked, it's 350 games for xbox and 226 on pc (most games on pc are on xbox) and even gamepass removes games, gta v and RDR2 were removed 6 months after their release, at least psnow tells you this game is staying for x months, gamepass is just removing games without telling you when it will be removed.

Re: Watch Dogs Legion Season Pass Includes Free Copy of the First Game

OthmaneAD

Ubisoft is one of the better companies in terms of business practices, name me one company that did this (also fc3 with fc5 gold and ac3+liberation with ac odyssey gold) . None. Anyone who insults Ubisoft because of their business practices is a Moron. This proves Ubisoft is one of the best companies in terms of business practices right up there with the likes of Square Enix (nothing beats Square Enix in terms of games and business practices. None), Cd Projekt Red and Sega

Re: PS5 Games Could Cost $10 More Than PS4

OthmaneAD

These publishers are crazy, just 4 million of nba 2k21 sales at 60$ which it will certainly sell that amount in the first month (let's say they earn 45$ on average if we include the mamba forever rip-off edition). They'll earn 180m$. And that's not including VCs. If this amount is not sufficient for 2k, then f*ck 2k.

Re: Xbox Boss Believes Microsoft Is in Very Good Position, Will Be Able to Demonstrate Hardware Advantages Over PS5

OthmaneAD

@Shinobi1Kenoby "ALL yakuza games are mediocre" is one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard. The best video game series is described as being "mediocre". Another ignorant thing you said "DLC used to add to games to extend the longevity of their appeal, now they’re encumbered with the design of the game from day one as a business strategy. Sad to see." Are you serious? the strategy for publishers is to NOT release dlcs after the game is out??? Are you living in a rock, literally most games come with a season pass and most dlcs are ideas the developer didn't chose to include in the main game and sell it later for a profit. Having a game with no dlc is the way to go as you can one coherent experience unlike when the story is incomplete and you need a dlc to complete it (FF XV, DA:I anyone). https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/explore/ps4-exclusives/ doesn't include 3rd party exclusives and those are very important to any console. Also, there are much more than those exclusives I mentioned since every single game that's released in japan first and then translated to english after was a ps4 exclusive at some time (Yakuza 7, death and request 2, Trails of cold steel 4, YS IX, Yakuza isshin, chaos child chu chu and many many more.) The ps4 exclusive list can be doubled if you include those type of games. And as I said, you can criticize sony as much as you want, but it's the best gaming platform for GAMES and with the ps5 launching. The PC masterrace will be no more as the ps5 (and series x for that matter) will more powerful than most pcs out there and if the games are better optimized for these systems than it might outperforms even a flagship gpu

Re: Xbox Boss Believes Microsoft Is in Very Good Position, Will Be Able to Demonstrate Hardware Advantages Over PS5

OthmaneAD

@Shinobi1Kenoby You saying that yakuza 6 is the same as yakuza 3, and that judgment and fist of the north star are mediocre at best means you haven't played them and that you are forming an opinion based on .. nothing (imagine saying anything yakuza related is mediocre... the sheer stupidity and lack of taste). I bet you haven't played any game I mentioned and based on your first comment, you don't play any jrpg it seems. If you ask any jrpg fan you'll know the ps4 is simply amazing in terms of exclusives. Also "Gaming culture is dying and micro transaction graphic whorism is rife all because of Sony and Microsoft" Wth? ALL Sony 1st party titles "besides ND games" have 0 microtransaction in them, at most 1 dlc as it's the case with HZD. Maybe Microsoft has them since they make mostly MP games unlike Sony which focuses on SP. If anything, Sony is the company that is the final grace for what you're saying, if sony 1st party games go full microtransaction mode then Western gaming is doomed (A lot of jrpgs franchises are still free of any dlc or microtransaction like dragon quest, star ocean, final fantasy (besides XV, there are no Mt in any ff game), Danganronpa, Kingdom hearts...)
