@themightyant it won't happen for ps4 as those games will still be playable even after 20 years, psvita and ps3 games were not playable by ps4 natively unlike the ps5 with the ps4 games

@Olmaz I'll tell you the thing most of you somehow don't want to acknowledge: when you price a game full price you expect good "graphics". For this game ps3 look much better than this no matter how good the story and some indie games look much better than this. Surprised no one in the comments talked about graphics. We're buying a video game not a novel. Graphics are important or price the game accordingly not full price.

Rarity in recent years? Ubisoft still always does big single player expansions and besides Ubisoft most of the single player games have expansions that have it's own map/characters/missions...

@TheWolfofPGH The only people who are vocal about it are those who don't play fifa, but those who play them are fine with them and are always excited when new packs arrive, also if the US bans them I would be extremely surprised as that would fundemantally change the industry for the best but it's extremely unlikely. Also if you think belgium fifa players are happy you would be wrong as banning the packs just made the ultimate team mode harder to compete with players with other countries and they would rather want it, the matter is the people who actually play the game are happy with them because addiction

You will be more surprised when you know that 99% of fifa players don't consider lootboxes to be bad or addiction and they bloat about them to their friends when they buy them

@Vacuumator you can always buy the season pass later, but it's better to wait for the edition with the season to go cheap since season pass are always expensive (sometimes they are even more expensive or the same price as the edition of the game that includes the season pass lmao)

@Ear_wiG They can add all the microtransaction they want, Ubisoft games are usually large enough to have a lot of armour and weapon types, Ubisoft is one of the only western companies making AAA single player experiences with "0" multiplayer ***** (or very light ones like in watch dogs), if the game is great and you get after 1 year the gold edition for 30% which is just huge amounts of gaming, complaining about microtransactions is just pointless, and those "boosters" are also useless as doing all the side quests will give you the level you want without any need of any booster, now if doing every side quests which are usually great can't get you overpowered now that's a ***** strategy, but Ubisoft knows a lot of people are willing to pay for such things and so they offer them, it's not good to do it but it's business.

@Gamer83 We will never know until ps5 stock is bigger than demand, maybe when they put like 10 million ps5 in japan in stock and it's collecting dust, then the interest might not be there, but now everyone wants one

@TheFrenchiestFry P4G was 20$ on steam and steam takes 30% of the first 10 million $ and 25% between 10m$ and 50m$ and I don't think P4G made that much in steam (found only 500k sold on steam) maybe it's now 1 million but don't think SEGA made that much, however p5r being a ps4 exclusive I'm pretty sure sony don't take 30% on the store or/and they helped fund the developement of the game so SEGA should make way more money on p5r than P4G

I don't get the thing that gamepass doesn't have a sony equivalent, psnow is superior to gamepass in every way, free online for psnow games, a superior library (I compared the two and have more games to play than gamepass, I mean psnow has a lot of ps4 and ps3 exclusives that you can't play elsewhere), and before anyone starts bitching about streaming, most good games are on ps4, and I have 12mb down wireless and it works perfectly, psnow may not add as many games as gamepass in a month, but gamepass is just full of cheap indies. and IT'S 50% CHEAPER, I'm sure if Sony priced psnow at 120$ a year we would have only the best games and exclusives at most 6 months from their release

@Old-Red The gold edition of hitman 2 was 20e in the last sale, those are the prices if someone wants to get the rip-off Hitman 3 access packs for 1 and 2 + the deluxe edition from the store, but give it 1 year and it will be very cheap, or 2 years if you want 80% off, the base prices on the store are always ridiculous compared to physical

@Tas10 we have a thing called ps5 now, don't speak as if the next-gen games can't run perfectly on ps5 and btw, your pc won't be able to play R&C even if sony ports it because you don't have a fast enough ssd to play it

@Jaz007 let's say you never played hitman 1 and played hitman 1 levels in hitman 2 (i don't own hitman 1 but in May for 3 days they let people play hitman 1 for free and I was able to redeem hitman 1 legacy pack working for free in hitman 2 LOL), you can transfer the progress from hitman 1 levels played in hitman 2 to hitman 3, it's not like it's impossible

@Old-Red haha, they are pricing just the HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Gold at 100e (which only the stupid will buy since AFAIK this doesn't give you hitman 2 gold edition only to play the gold edition stages on hitman 2) and you want them them to include everything (besides the base hitman 3 game, hitman 1 access pass, hitman 2 gold access pack and the hitman 3 deluxe pack are 165e so with the base game, that becomes 235e) and you want them to release everything for 70 pounds or 90e LMAO

@Plankton-Warrior you can buy 1 month of ea play with 5$, platinum the game and be done with it, in the meantime you can try nfs heat or an ea indie titles which are surprisingly good

@Voltan I still have a ps4 slim and a Samsung TU8000 and games already look gorgeous. A ps5 with games in 4k60 will look tremendous. People are paying 1000$ more for a minor improvement

@Jeevz if you want ray-tracing it's 60fps and you don't need more than 60 in a game anyway and just checked, it's 1080p120fps not 4k120fps, and it's not even a perfect 120fps

@Menchi Exactly, and you hear people that you need a "4k 120hz" tv for your ps5, like what the hell? the ps5 will never output any game in 4k120 no matter the game, fortnite which is one of the least demanding titles of the previous generation is running at 4k60 or 1080p 120hz

@MFTWrecks What are you talking about, cosmetics in ac origins have great gameplay advantages, I spent the whole game with an axe and a shield and a horse that were from the deluxe edition.

@TG16_IS_BAE this is a video game. You can't just increase the magical price (60$) and expect 100% of the consumers that would have bought it at 60$ to buy it at 70$. It worked for demon's souls because everyone who bought a ps5 also bought demon's souls because it's the "only true exclusive" on the system. Moving forward I imagine it will be hard to sell many copies of 70$ games unless it's something from rockstar or the 85+ metacritic franchises/games

@nessisonett uh what? 494 games????? most games are repeating across pc and xbox and just checked, it's 350 games for xbox and 226 on pc (most games on pc are on xbox) and even gamepass removes games, gta v and RDR2 were removed 6 months after their release, at least psnow tells you this game is staying for x months, gamepass is just removing games without telling you when it will be removed.

In all honesty, The previous store is the best store I've seen to date. This is horrendous compared to what we had. I don't know what's not to like about the previous store.

Ubisoft is one of the better companies in terms of business practices, name me one company that did this (also fc3 with fc5 gold and ac3+liberation with ac odyssey gold) . None. Anyone who insults Ubisoft because of their business practices is a Moron. This proves Ubisoft is one of the best companies in terms of business practices right up there with the likes of Square Enix (nothing beats Square Enix in terms of games and business practices. None), Cd Projekt Red and Sega
