If a change in executive managaments means fewer single player games then these minority shareholders can go to hell because ubisoft is one of the last western companies that focus on 100% single player games for most of its lineup

His comments are harsh but Sony would have made waaaay more money if they invested that 200 million into days gone 2. With that budget we could have gotten the masterpiece we wanted which is a shame since the first game ended with with the aspect that a sequel is in the works.

Concord sold 0.15% of this game. in history of 100% single player AAA video games this will be the most sold game ever with this pace and concord will be the lowest sold AAA multiplayer game ever and they released within 4 days of each other.

Holy *****, this is bound to be one the best games of the year. Hope it sells well to see a continuation. This is what everyone wants sony to focus on not some mindless live service games.

Just imagine if they spent the 200 million dollars remaking bloodborne, the ps3 infamous games, and the ps3 ratchet and clank game. They would have billions, or just invest in another spiderman game or anything but this *****. Hopefully this is a lesson for playstation that single player is king and we don't want their attempts at multiplayer

Idk how nacon is doing financially but after WRC and greedfall their games had quite low all time peak concurrent players on steam so if these people strike for some time and delay greedfall 2 even more (greedfall 1 was like the most popular game from the publisher) instead of getting what they want they might be laid off because the industry is doing the same these past 2 years

@Olskeezy who cares about these small games. the only studio i'm sad with being closing is tango gameworks. All the other studios were shuttered because they made games that mattered to few people

@REALAIS that's not true for steam. If you're from an unsupported country you won't be able to see the store page of the game

@Gamer_X the ps5 is selling close as fast as the ps4 was. Also this is a 4 year old game that is already on ps+ so 0 harm was done to the ps brand. If anything if they annouce a sequel people will buy the ps5 to not wait years to play it on pc

This game won't get a dawn of ragnarok expansion as ubisoft has plans for Hexe after this unlike valhalla when they didn't have any ac title in 2022 so they pushed the expansion (the valhalla 2 season pass expansions filled that in 2021 and odyssey 2 season pass expansions filled that in 2019) so unless hexe comes in 2027 these 2 season pass expansions is all we're gonna get since they will cover 2025

@Jamesblob First of all nobody is gonna review bomb this game because it won't release on steam and nobody cares about other scores like playstation stars. Second the game on pc will have denuvo and will need ubisoft forward to play so it will need an internet connection to at least start the game. Third the game won't be always online since it's a single player game and that's what important.

I don't understand those who supported sony's decision in the first place. Sure there are other games that require account login but they tell you from the beginning. Not implement it months down the line and forcefully remove access if you do not suddenly create an account. This is the issue with games. They accept what corporations shove down their throat and when the corporation does more shameful things, then they start to realize they're being fu***d, good for the community for standing up to sony and hope this sets a precedent to future games by other publishers because we have no need for accounts to play games on steam besides the steam one.

@uptownsoul fyi, 55% of saints row physical sales were on the ps5 so it sold more on the ps5 than tlou1 remake, so yeah even when comparing the sales on the same platform, saints row wins

For sure COD is a big franchise, but that doesn't mean single player epic exclusives like horizon, gow, tlou, spiderman are not the ones that sold ps4s

ps fans always left in the dust, pc players have been enjoying the ps5 versions of games for years while ps players are paying for it (the pc version of gta 5 has better draw distance than the ps5 version for example), playing lacrimosa of dana at the ps5 settings was also possible and even more

if there's a stupid person to buy this then be it, at least they will still produce epic 60$ titles with little to no dlc

It's an always online title, please don't spread any news about this, there is 0 reason to be hyped for this game when the servers will go down whenever ubisoft wishes and render the game completely unplayable forever. It's also 80 euros which makes it even more egregious.

@Northern_munkey what open world are they gonna do? what monuments? what significant cities? it's a normal war in a place of the world with no historical significance or historical monuments (i looked at indonesian monuments they're mostly statues lol, compare that with the greek era or origins and yeah...) also that's set after WWII, an ac title won't fit with that era, it may be watch dogs by then lmao
