Until may the only games of real significance are super Mario 3D world, persona 5 strikers and nier so this chart is going to stay mostly like this for awhile

Nintendo's probably got the charts until fall/holiday when we start seeing stuff like CoD 2021, Horizon Forbidden West, GTAV next gen edition, etc.

The main competitor to Animal Crossing for the first half of 2021 is Super Mario 3D World.

What the heck is a 'morning-eyed' ? 😄 That sounds like it requires medical attention. The only thing that happens to me in the morning is that I have to wait a good 10 minutes before I'm able to have a pee 😆

Got the platinum for AC Valhalla last night. Thank the gods!

Just started Werewolf Apocalypse Earthblood (...) and I’m enjoying it a lot so far. Sure, it’s a bit rough around the edges and it looks like a PS3 era game but there’s just something about it. It reminds me a little bit of Avatar: The Videogame with the evil corporation, mech-suits and the ‘home-tree’ base.

Pretty rare to see a top ten list that doesn't include a game I'm at least mildly interested in.

Would you be willing to post your thoughts on Werewolf after you've played it a bit more? It's something I wanted to like but haven't bought yet due in large part to this site's review.

Q1 was looking great if you looked at before all the delays. Now the schedule is kinda empty until May at least. Still no word on Ratchet's and Kena's release dates.

GTA V is a brilliant game but it is over seven years old now.

I'd like to see more variety in the top ten but so be it. As long as the games I like to play continue to be made then I'm content.

@LordSteev Yeah sure. I’m only 2-3 hours in at the moment. I don’t think the reviews are too far off the mark tbf judging by today’s standards. But I think if this had been released ten years ago, it would have been scored closer to a 7.

I think it comes down to what your expectations are - you could either like the game for what it is or really hate it for what it isn’t. I definitely recommend watching a few gameplay clips to get a feel for it before buying.

My expectations were quite low after reading the review here (and reviews elsewhere). But... whilst I recognise the obvious shortcomings, I’m still enjoying it a lot so far.

@Amppari I love yakuza but the ps5 version will struggle to get in the top ten. Especially due to ps5 scalpers and shortages. Persona strikers should change things up and maybe little nightmares 2 but don't think theyl threaten the top spots

Gta online is hugely popular, probably fortnite's only rival for the teenage market. The people buying it now are prob in the 15+ bracket, reaching the age where their parents will let them play it I guess.
Also maybe people that age prob need to buy replacement discs more often. Losing, breaking or swopping them.

@Balosi No idea how you break a Bluray man i have these things shipped and a lot of times its lose in the case... Put it in the cover and it stays fantastic thank God we dont have Cd's and DVD's anymore.

I'm enjoying Valhalla on PS5 there's so much to collect/complete on the huge map it will last you ages if you do everything.

Then again my nephew just grabbed my game when i wasnt watching and when i got it back it looked like he used a grinder on it.

Or my playerguide that was €40 a ripped out pages and written in it with pen that was my last time i loaned anything.
