What are all PS Plus games? PS Plus, also known as PlayStation Plus, is Sony's subscription service for PS5 and PS4. The subscription is divided into three tiers: PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, and PS Plus Premium. All PS Plus Games: PS Plus Premium
PS Plus Premium is the third tier of PS Plus. It includes all of the perks and benefits from PS Plus Essential and PS Plus Extra in addition to a catalogue of PSP, PS2, and PS1 games which can be downloaded and played at any time. In select territories, all PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium games can be cloud streamed as well, including a range of PS3 games. Please note that PS3 games cannot be downloaded, they can only be played via streaming.
One thing to keep in mind is that in countries where cloud streaming is not available, a cheaper version of the PS Plus Premium tier is available called PS Plus Deluxe, which excludes all PS3 games. However, with PS Plus Deluxe, you can still download and play all PSP, PS2, and PS1 games, and the list of available titles is identical to PS Plus Premium, excluding PS3 games.

As such, it's important to be aware of any upcoming expiry dates for PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, and PS Plus Premium games:

Wait when was it confirmed the Spider-Man, Death Stranding ect are the PS5 versions?
Since it's now folded into the PS+ brand, will this list be kept more up-to-date than the Now list was?
@DualWielding It's not 100% confirmed but we'll obviously be updating this daily so will reflect that if it's not the PS5 versions. As PS5 games like Returnal are included, we're making an assumption here.
@Milktastrophe Yes.
@PenguinL If they do offer the PS5 version of Spider-man I will download it for an auto Platinum...
@PenguinL It just so happens most RPGs make their way to PS, though the normal gamut of exclusives isn't much anything I'm into. Because of the RPGs available, I also have PSNow and PS Plus for fighting games. So count 1 lol.
Alternatively this is a good reminded for anyone who has not yet gotten the PS plus games this month TO GET SLAY THE SPIRE.
@get2sammyb: I'm surprised to see a game on the PS Plus Collection being removed. Should I assume that this could happen to any of the games on this list?
@hobbes242 the original contracts were for 18 months, only Persona 5 wasn't renewed. I assume everything else in the collection should be safe for another 18 months.
Something seems up between Sega (parent of Atlus) and Sony subscriptions. All Sega games are leaving PS+ collection and Now in May. I wonder if there'll be a Sega subscription or something coming up.
@Milktastrophe Thanks for the info!
@Milktastrophe I had ignored the Microsoft buying Sega runors so far bit the removal of all Sega games from Sony's suscriptions have me worried they are indeed being bought or that they have agreed to made their content exclusive to game pass as far as suscriptions go
@DualWielding Sega and Microsoft have always been close since the Dreamcast era, unfortunately the deal makes sense, the sad thing will be if PlayStation loses atlus and Persona games
Wait, the PS3 games will be available for download? I've been out of the loop for some time and the last time I was reading news -sorry, guys- (when "Spartacus" was announced) PS3 games were kinda like PS Now.
@Lup no, but everything else will be
Something that PS+X/P desperately needs that Now currently lacks is a way to browse the library on the PS App.
I dont understand....if you like a game just buy it instead of what? Leasing it is this what this is a monthly lease, Ill just pay up front
@DualWielding @get2sammyb on the PlayStation blog it tells you if it's the ps4 version, ps5 version or both
Death stranding is ps4/ps5
Spiderman is ps4
Spiderman miles morales is ps4/ps5
@DualWielding also sega have been asking xbox and nintendo players if they would like to see persona games come to their console.
I just think whatever deal sony had with sega/atlus is now fully over, and future main persona games and remakes will be multi platform
I only see one psp game on the list. I’m really digging that if you bought the digital game previously, you still own it, Nintendo please pay attention.
@UltimateOtaku91 Yep, we updated now. That comment was from a few weeks ago. We need a better system for comments on these kind of articles!
We've got this in a good place for today, all the information is there, and we're using some new tech on the backend which will make this as accurate as possible moving forwards.
There are still some more usability improvements we'd like to make, and hopefully they will come before this launches in the US!
In the meantime, let me know if you notice any issues or inaccuracies!
Enslaved! Yessssss! I've been wanting to replay that for ages
As somebody who mainly plays RPGs I think this list is pretty disappointing. Wild Arms 3 is the only game that stands out and its not even that great of one. Hopefully Shadow Hearts or Some other Shin Megami games will come out. I would love a new port of Digital Devil Saga or Devil Summoner.
hopefully they add more ps2 games as no sign of breath of fire, shadow hearts or ps1 rpgs like legend of dragoon, koudelka etc
Ok I’m underwhelmed. The new stuff is solid. Not spectacular but solid and similar to GPU. The classics announced are terrible. 8 ps1 and 1 psp?!? Why bother? The PS3 stuff is a backwards or at most sidewards step from what we have on now currently.
I thought they were going to blow me away but instead they’ve done a Nintendo and done the very very very bare minimum. I’m stacked on cheap codes for three years so it eases the pain much like I only pay £3 a month for GPU so the fact 22 will have no Xbox exclusives stings a little less. But no way is this service worth a tenner a month.
The list of PS2 games was the same games we had since the PS3 days for the UK store, so right now if you want that feature it's not really worth investing in. And unless your a PS5 owner your bit getting full benefits of the most expensive tier unless you've already played/own/owned those games I really don't think they've thought of a GamePass Ultimate competitive system it's very underwhelming
@DualWielding the sadness of some people is shockingly dreadful, virtual trophies 😂
@Stocksy Remember the list is incomplete! They still have roughly 600 more games to add.
@get2sammyb agreed. The whole launch has been a farce really. I think doing a proper bells and all showcase with the full list. Price and launch date would have been far better. This drip feeding loses a lot of goodwill and momentum. The Ubisoft thing should have been big news but I then look at classic list and think. If that isn’t the complete list why pick 1 psp game and 8 ps1 games to announce and a couple of PS2 ps4 versions… no one is gonna get buzzed by it… save the classics for another day or announce it properly.
@Stocksy Yes I agree, it's been tackled stangely.
Thank you for taking the time and energy to work on an up-to-date list, your hard work is very much appreciated!
How come PS4 gets the standard mortal Kombat 11 where as ps5 gets the ultimate edition ?
That classic games list is anaemic as it stands. Looks like a bargain bin of whatever they could be bothered to scrape together.
No Resistance 1 & 2? And why FEAR but not FEAR 2 & 3?
I wish Nintendo would give us the option to purchase their retro games on the Switch Online subscription.
I want everything and I want it now or I’m moving to Xbox 🤣
Well this is sweet! Only gripe is that some games like the Devil May Cry HD Collection, Injustice 1 and the Ninja Gaiden games are still there PS3 stream versions despite the PS4 ports of Devil May Cry HD Collection and Injustice 1 and Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection exist.
And I hope they add more Star Wars games like the Episode III game, Battlefront 1 and 2 Classic, Demolition, Dark Forces, Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, Clone Wars, original StarFighter and others back.
Just a note, guys — we know this page isn't as readable as it could be, but we intend to implement some new filtering options in the future so bear with us on that!
Man the full list ended up being way more disappointing than I was expecting, especially the classics line up. There's so much missing from titles people would want to play. Still will finally check out ghosts of Tsushima & may check out Death's stranding since they are part of it.
$100 for access to 400+ games. You’d have to be broke or an Xbox/PC player not to pick this up.
I hope they release all the classic Harry Potter video games onto the ps4 from older console’s.
No Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 (ps2)?
@get2sammyb Project Cars 2 & 3 have already been removed from the extra tier in Japan and Asia. I don't think there was any notice given, people just noticed the games are no longer included.
FWIW Project Cars 2 is still on PS Now in US without an expiration date, but 3 isn't on Now (I don't think it was before, so not removed). So who knows whether they'll be included in NA and EU.
@get2sammyb If you purchase Premium games that are available on the PS Store I'm guessing they won't just be stolen from you by Sony? In other words the expiry would only apply to PS+ Premium members and not people who purchase some of the classics individually? 🤔
@DualWielding think they are yes
@TowaHerschel7 if u buy them there yours regardless of ps plus 😎
@get2sammyb I love the lists that PushSquare put together and along those lines, I'd LOVE to see a list of PS1, PS2, PSP & PS3 games that will now have trophies added to them in the PS Plus Essential service offering. Just a thought........
If I have a PS3? Logged in? Will it allow those PS3 games, or do I have to have a 4/5 and stream. Asking as it makes sense.
I was pleasantly surprised by the games available in the games catalog section of the service. If you haven't actually looked through it I suggest you guys do so, you might find something that you've had your eyes on for a while now available to you. I feel like the list wasn't very well advertised, instead everyone focused on the paltry classics offerings.
The service went live yesterday here in Mexico. It was a pleasant surprise. I only have two comments:
a) Living here means no streaming service yet: so goodbye PS3 classics! I was looking forward to play Alone in the Dark - Inferno.
b) The inclusion of some PS exclusives may seem redundant to some - it's very likely that, if you own a PS4 or PS5, you have played most of the "biggies" - like Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, SotC, etc.
Nevertheless, I upgraded my PS Plus suscription and I can't wait to play Demon's Souls and some platformers (like Knack and Balan Wonderworld, two titles that, otherwise I wouldn't have bought).
Why is Resistance 3 the only game available from the series? Loved the franchise and wanted to play all the games from the beginning, don't want to acquire a PS3 just for that reason. Seems odd to only have the final entry.
@HarmanSmith actually I had held out on Returnal, Ghost, and Death Stranding hoping they would one day come to PS+! I've had fun in Returnal for the last 24 hours.
@DualWielding i hardly think this is the case, the thing is sega sammy not only makes and publishes games but they also are in charge of the creation of pachinko machines and MS has all the money in the world but they not just haven't pay for something that creates something else than games but they also haven't pay full price for the companies and in sega case would be not only sega but paying for machinery, land in japan, workers, contracts with other companies and many other things that i don't see why ms would pay for them. The theory of ms paying for the rigths to only have the games in their service and not other services is pretty much what is happening if not sega launching their own service like ubisoft and ea.
@slips666 Well, then this new suscription mode was superb for you. I am glad that now you can play those excelent exclusives included in one subscription!
@slips666 I'm in the same boat. I've actually held off on buying a lot of the recent games and now here they are!
@harmansmith @ataco yes, very exciting! I also love that I can just TRY games like Resogun, Tetris, and many more without forking over the purchase price. I had a lot of fun with it yesterday.
I'm happy with the games included. I've had PSNOW for over a year and loved it especially with having 2 kids who wanna try all types of games and not having to buy it. I haven't had to buy a game in quite some time and now looks like I am good to go for a long time.
It's never going to be anything like gamepass. Sony are terrible. Not even allowing you to preorder a game that's out in 2 days because it's day one on gamepass. I'll be taking my money elsewhere.
Still can’t get the PS5 version of Tennis World Tour. Says $24.99.
Well I'm quite pleased with all this. Went on a downloading spree yesterday. Upgraded Tsushima to Director's Cut. Got Death Stranding: Director's Cut, Returnal, Demon's Souls, Bloodstained, and a whole mess of other games right out the gate. Haven't even browsed the classics yet but can't wait to jump into those, either. Huge improvement over the mess of dual subscriptions before. Always room for more, of course, but it's important to celebrate the positive step here!
How Ridge Racer is not on this list is ridiculous.
The ps plus extra list is not confirmed for Europe, Is it?
Bring on Thursday. Been so tough being last region to get this service I tell you.
@Nekomichu The lists above are accurate to North America but will presumably be almost identical for Europe. We'll make any necessary adjustments once it launches on Thursday
Was hoping there'd be more there in terms of legacy titles. The premium tier relies far too much of PS4 native versions of games. And last I checked, titles I did really like the look of (like the classic RE games) are either missing or not available to buy separately.
It just fails on its promise for me.
@get2sammyb Just wanted to add for the editors of the article for the expiration section: In the US, some games in PS Plus Extra have expiration dates of August 31st, 2022. Once you download/add them to your library, you can't see the expiration date message anymore. But when I was on a downloading spree, I caught the glimpse of it in 2k22 before it went away (I think, like I said, was on a downloading spree and googled afterwards). But when I googled it, there are a few games that go away on August 31st.
@Brydontk Thanks for the heads up! Do you have a link or another source we can check?
@get2sammyb Couldn't find the link I found before. And looking it up I can't find many people talking about it. Maybe it's flying under the radar right now? But here's another site with a screenshot of RDR2 leaving September 20th in Malaysia to see what the message looks like.: https://gamerant.com/ps-plus-extra-and-premium-losing-red-dead-redemption-2/
Didn't realize Extra and Premium aren't out in the UK yet so I guess I'd just say to look at as many as possible before pressing download to see the message. Not all the games have them.
@Brydontk Yeah we'll take a look at the UK launch tomorrow, really appreciate the heads up, though! This is helpful.
Not very exciting for me, I already own nearly everything of interest, but that's obviously just a "me" problem.
Glad to see Magic Orbz is still included, I just wish I could download it and not just stream it.
No Echocrome?!? What the heck Sony! 😡
@Nekomichu no I would have thought this will vary by region and the list here will prob cause more confusion
@Robinsad Yeah, I really expect the list to be similar, it's such a good list. I'm just anxious to know the final europe list for confirmation
@Nekomichu if hope but titles like enslaved on ps3 I’m fairly sure was on American Now before but not uk one, hoping it’s there as I’d like to play it but I’m not holding my breath
@get2sammyb Evil Genius 2 has been removed. Super Stardust Portable has been added.
@Slippship only through streaming
@Milktastrophe We’re updating but thanks for the heads up! 👍
No super street fighter 2 in the uk! Disappointing
My Gamepass subscription ran out recently so this subscription has come at a perfect time. Will alternate annually between PS and GP and play through all the new games added over time.
Not sure how the PS game list will work but my experience of GP is to never start a game that takes over 50 hours to get through. So many end up getting dropped before you finish them. Its why I didn't download RDR2 when I saw it today. Not sure how long it will be on there and if I'll be wasting my time if I did.
Expected it but annoyed enslaved is missing from Europe. Given it was in the advertising.
I wish I could filter by platform and by the date they we're added to the service.
With the influx of all these new titles, it would be good to distinguish them from what is already available through the service prior.
That's actually a really impressing collection if you go for the top tier Plus subscription (and even if you go for the mid tier it's still quite impressive).
But.. you have to have a broad taste or just don't know that much about gaming to get your money's worth; it's a great way to try out a lot of new games/genres.. but if you already know what's your "jam" it's not worth it IMO. Then I would say you're better off buying the few games that actually interests you (but then again you probably already own them, like I do).
But pretty great for those who wants to try out a lot games at a relatively bargain price.
Ok, I just remembered the "caveat" with the Premium tier; a majority of the games that are exclusive to this (the top tier) are PS3 games, which means they are not ports.
No, you have to stream them and we all know (or those of us who have tried to stream games at least) that streaming is a bit of a hit or a miss when it comes to performance and visual quality.
Suddenly it doesn't seem that much of bargain after all.
Where are all of the pre-ps3 games???
Anyone know if you buy a PS1 game for PS4/5 if it gives you the rights to download it on PS3 ?
Conversely if I buy a game on PS3 today, it will appear on my PS4/5 dowload list?
No PSP Monster Hunter or finally bringing Monster Hunter Dos to the west is a missed opportunity.
@get2sammyb Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 have already been removed in EU.
Strangely, a lot of the titles in the Extra list has a Premium tag when viewed in the PS5 store (I'm in EU/DK). This includes all the games that were in the PS+ Collection. It's confirmed when I check the individual title: Upgrade to Premium to gain access. Surely, that's wrong?
@get2sammyb it says Mortal Kombat ultimate ps5 as part of essential. But in the store its only showing as to buy. Is this an error? Are you able to shed some light on it?
Good to have a place to go to find out what’s leaving to decide if you want to play it before it goes. Started Shadow Warrior 3 before it goes next week.
