@cainhurst94 I added it because there has been a fair amount of buzz around the game, you could swap it with mewgenics I suppose, Phantom Blade was a hail mary on my part as I am super hyped for it.

Maybe a hot take I don't know, but I feel like Factions 2 would have been a flash in the pan. Don't get me wrong I loved playing Faction but I never once thought "hey this should be a stand alone, live service game"

@Boxmonkey "Reviews have been generally poor across the board but the game is still shifting a lot of copies" not to bash Crimson Desert but CoD, FIFA review poorly and yet shift millions of copies, again though this is one person's opinion on the game, you don't have to agree with it but you have to accept it.

@Scottyy I think a lot people forget that Resident evil as a franchise have always been between 12 - 16 hours long with RE4og/R being the exceptions, I thought 9 was paced brillaintly personally.

@Boxmonkey I actually have to disagree with the statement "gamers have moved on" I don't think anyone can predict what will sell like hot cakes and what will flop anymore, yeah you could agure it's easy to predict with live service games, but not so sure when it comes to single players (platform, fighting, 3rd persom action game etc). Here's a hot take for you (since you have a bloodborne profile pic) I think Duskbloods will low-key flop.

@lazarus11 Bro we get it, you love the game (you say this on every article) but no game is invulnerable to criticism, just like my personal GOTY RE9 there are still things they could improve on, (oh which has sold over 6 million copies) same with Crimson Desert.

Honestly good for them for selling 3M but it does make you think "surely it should have been enjoyable since day 1?"

Real talk, I would rather then just remade Sonic adventures 1 & 2, after playing Sonic frontiers I have come to conclusion I just don't like the new games.

One of the best franchises ever made, there's a reason it's still going to this day, even if RE6 almost got it put on ice. I couldn't vote on the poll as I have 3 joint top games, which again proves how good the franchise is. I think my earlist memory of RE was watching my older brother play RE2 and being absolutely terrified (Licker jumping through the glass anyway?) but could never stop watching. The first one I actually ever owned was RE1R for the gamecube, I thought it was the greatest games ever up (still stand by that statement to this day). I have said this already but I'm so happy that RE9 is doing so well and brought RE back into the forefront on so many platforms.
