@Max_the_German Pretty sure Sony acquired Bungie because of their talents for making live service games, while D2 maybe in a slump right now, no one can deny when expansions come out people hopped right back in, and let's not forget Bungie's game play is always extremely good. Like I said in my comment they meant to have started really early development on D3, so I guess D2 and now Marathon will have to tide people over till then.

Yup it looks good, but like I have said in the past extraction shooters are not my jam. I wish nothing for best with Marathon but I'm praying that rumour of D3 being in very early in development is true.

@JB_Whiting Not sure if you are aware but the director has come out and said the game is about 16 - 18 hours which brings it about the same length as RE4R.

Considering Rebirth was my GOTY that year, I'll be there day 1 for part 3 I actually have a lot of faith (I know some people don't) that Square Enix will stick the landing. From what I've heard about the SW2 version, it's meant to look amazing, so that right there should convince people that part 3 will look incredible regardless of it going multiplatform.

Again Sony just take your time, Our PS5s and Pros will tide us over till 2029/2030

@datamonkey I also echo that statement, I think Ember Labs would bring a unique flair to the Playstation brand.

MGO for this game was truly amazing in my humble opinion, I spent days playing it, this is what I was hoping for on Snake Eater Delta but it just wasn't the same, however on the brightside I'm just so happy MGS4 is finally free! will be picking this up for sure.

And with good reason it was easily the best SoP of the whole PS5 gen! There was something for everyone, I don't envy them trying to top this one...

@OldGamer999 So by your logic Nintendo as a console is also cooked? we both know that won't happen, honestly we could say the same thing about Playstation (no fanboyism here) but the fact the PS5 has sold over 92M units seems pretty clear people still want home consoles. Going on to these PC hybrids I'm sure you aware that the price of RAM has sky rocketed so much so that I believe the Steam machine will be delayed and will more then likely cost over 900 at launch and I just can't see your average player/consumer paying that price. Now will the Xbox hybrid sell well? Of course it will but I don't think it will change the balance the way things are now.

@StitchJones I just feel a "true" showcase would have be only first party games, but we all know that can't happen anytime soon. and like @Korgon said, the PS6 launch will more then likely be the next one.

There was something for everyone in that State of Play, so no wonder people liked it. Hopefully they can keep up this momentum for the summer one!

Unrelated to the article but surprised we haven't had news on the DICE awards as Ghost of Yotei had a mini sweep (obvs nothing compared to E33)

I personally can see Ember Labs being part of Sony's first party family, their work looks incredible and would add a lot of flare to the brand.

@carlos82 Also think the fact the main dev said at the start of the video "we love single player games, and will continue to make them" they knew what was coming.

I feel like we (playstation players) should have gotten Steel Frontiers as it literally looks like the other games and would have gone over much better with the players.

@StarZinger I think that was still PC footage with the player just using a PS controller.

@Nightcrawler71 As a pro owner. there are plenty of games that shine on the Pro, some examples (maybe not to your tastes) Stellar Blade, Any RE game, Ghost of Yotei, TLoU1/2, Death Stranding 2, Horizon Forbidden West and FF7 Rebirth.
