@Rich33 I keep forgetting that RE9 was the debut of PSSR2, and honestly it was a great "power move" kinda hoping SE does something like that with FF7 part 3, but the way SE have been acting at the moment I'm not so sure...

@MasterChiefWiggum Just to play devil's advocate for a moment but there have also been plenty of single player flops from all three companies, just saying...

As someone who grew on Nintendo consoles mostly, I would still put Sony first party games up there with Nintendo's. I really do hope Sony goes back to formula (obvs still have a sprinkle of live service in there) but that's what made the PS2 and PS4 so special were quality (and quantity) of their games. I still by that the PS5 has a been a great gen but it could have the better y'know?

At this point I don't care for a Dead Space 4 BUT I would give anything just to have Dead Space 2 remade, it's easily in my top 10 games ever!

I have a dualedge and it's easily the best controller I have ever used.

When GTA3 first came out it quite literally blew my mind, I thought nothing could ever top it 😅

@FxTANK But Sony never owned the IP so it's completely up to Shift up what they do with it.

Wow tough poll here! Honestly after getting platinum for Saros last week, I think I like Saros more then Returnal, game play alone is such an improvement! I voted for Selene because I think her story/character was very interesting but Rahul Kolhi's voice acting was extremely good so I don't choose lightly!

I will say this though I think Housemarque should move onto a different genre once they are completely done with Saros, but I don't which one they should go for...

@tangyzesty I mean Directive 8020 is £38.95 here in the Uk which sounds reasonable to me 🤷‍♂️ Oh I also find the review scores on the store abit of a meme as they are either 5 stars or stars most of the time

@UltimateOtaku91 But these games are never going to be up for GOTY like a Xbox or a PS title, the level of quality just isn't there, but people like me still enjoy them for what they are.

Easily one of the best new IPs to come out this gen, safe to say I'll be there day 1 without fail, as Shift up proved to me they are one the best new studios, literally found zero bugs or performance issues, the only improvement they need to do is with the story telling, but PLEASE keep with the same compossers for the next OST. Yes again I thought this was common knowledge that Sony weren't publishing SB2...?

@Bramble It's funny as I usually buy a lot of games day 1 (RE9, Pragmata, Saros as examples), just not this one, yeah I would buy a complete edition in a heart beat.

Holding off on and waiting for the all patches really does look like the best option at this point. Looking forward to that day.

Nothing and I mean nothing will ever beat Uncharted 2's opening, but even without that it's still the best in the series for me. From looking at the comments and the poll looks like I'm not alone in this thought.

Edit; I would say the worst part about Uncharted 4 has to be Sam, first he is just pulled out of thin air and secondly he is just not likeable even though they try to make you like him.

Personally I think that video from Christina sums up the game pretty well, from the looks of things there's hardly any gameplay (which is fine if you like that) unless you count wiggling a tongue around as gameplay...

@Rich33 I think when ability completely breaks the game, the most recent example was Maelle's Stendhal ability one shoting everything in the game, the devs have the right to patch (yes it was clearly missed in testing) but if I worked on a game for years of my life just for it to be steamed rolled by bug I would personally want it patched too.

@Rich33 As a Destiny 2 player I am extremely use to things getting nerfed whether that was for PvE or PvP, sometimes I could understand the nerf but others were purely a middle finger to a certain class that finally got some use in a raid or whatever. Elden ring nerfs happened mostly because of speed runners who literally trivialised the game at one point (hoarfrost stomp comes to mind)

@Skinny-Pete My biggest worry is for the game to loose the satirical writing style which made GTA so popular in the first place.

@Sweetz I think it's more of the fact it's made by Rock Star, their name carries a lot of weight, while yes their controls and mission structure for most of their games are not the best, but as whole package they are some of the best and extremely casual friendly.

People will grumble about the price hikes which is of course the right thing to do... however we are talking GTA6 here you know the biggest release in all forms of media. People will upgrade purely for this game alone, obviously some people/families won't be be able to afford the upgrade which truly does suck. Gaming is no longer the "casual" hobby it was when some of us were growing up.

@Markatron84 Bungie have always had the "one step forward, two steps back" mentality remember the dumpster fire that was D2 launch...

@Rich33 Judging from I wouldn't say this"wasted" much dev time, this is something they probably put their C team on while they focus on other things.

I'm playing it right now, and for a free DLC I can't complain too much, obvs could be better but that's going to come with the actual DLC later on.

Nope Japan is Nintendo coded nothing will ever change that. Like maybe and this is a big maybe the PS6 handheld could shift a fair few units but it won't rival what the SW2 has just done over there.

@Boxmonkey We usually don't agree on things, but yes both Concord and Marathon would have been on PS5 anyway, so why buy the studios*? We all know it was a knee jerk reaction to Xbox's spending spree

@themightyant As someone who has over 10K hours in Destiny 2 I just think Bungie dropping D2 for Marathon was a huge mistake, and Sony paid WAY too much for them, if it's really true they are working on a D3 that could save them but I don't know...

It will definitely go down in history as one the worst acquisitions of all time.

I mean you can't even argue it, I absolutely hate the leak culture.
