Edit: the only one I really disagree with is PEAK winning multiplayer when that should clearly go to Arc raiders / BF6

So can we please put it to bed, that Sucker Punch has literally given us one of the best games of year, like there's no arguing it at this point. As I said in another article I'm fine with Yotei but being in the GOTY category, just please stop trying to say it's a bad game.

Edit: I expect the figures to jump up during the Xmas period, and even more when Legends come out.

@RoomWithaMoose Yes it was a spectacle but like we have both brought up there just wasn't any flow to it. I gave massive FF16 vibes I'll let you decide if that's a good or a bad thing.

Ok so after watching the trailer twice, I'm a little worried, the combat didn't have any flow to it and was just a lot of in game cutscenes (FF16 vibes) and oh boy there were a lot of frame drops, so overall the trailer did more damage (to me personally) then good.

Just watched it on their web site while the vibes are on point, the game play looks a little meh (which I kinda predicted). But as a horror game fan I will most likely be picking this.

@Rich33 If there were to be a 3rd Ghost game, I would like it to be on the main land, what could story could be about? I have no idea, but I have faith in Sucker Punch's writers to come up with something epic!

@themightyant I agree that Guerilla should move onto a new IP after 3, much like I think Sucker Punch should move on from the Ghost series (I love both Horizon and Ghost btw)

I couldn't give a flying fish about the Gabecube, I know some people are but it just isn't for me, the controller alone looks horrendous, personally can see this costing around £900.

@Fiendish-Beaver It will be a seperate trophy list, so it won't effect you going for platinum.

@Amin1998 I thought by the end of the game they were quite a lot of roaming groups (the ones in the purple armour), the one think I hope they bring back (which wasn't listed) is the ability to replay camps/outposts like you could in Tsushima.

@Rich33 The Japanese voice actor for the young Atsu was absolutely fine, to be the honest the whole cast was great.

@Dalamar In the way it was done, yes it was unique.

It had a lot of potential but I'm glad it didn't over stay it's welcome in the final cut of the game. Perhaps it could be implemented better in a story DLC...

@Dman10 The demo for RE7 was extremely popular and was talked about just as much as PT was, so there is power in a good demo.

What Capcom should have done is release the demo straight after the summer game fest, but no, only the "privileged" got to play the demo. Will also say the prompotion for RE9 hasn't been great (I still have it on preorder), keep in mind we have had 7 frames of combat shown and that's it...

If it's true there's going to be a PS6 hand held, I will be very interested to see how well it sells in Japan, will it give the Switch 2 a run for it's money? probably not, but I can see it having healthy sales figures.

I'm ok with GoY not being up for GOTY as it was a 9/10 game while everything in the Category is 9.5-10, still best action/adventure game though.

@Questionable_Duck While I think some of the Xbox showcases have been good, the problem is we don't know if those games will ever come out, prime examples being Perfect Dark and Everwild, so the shows tend to lean on the intial hype but dies off after a couple of weeks.

Imagine if the closer for the show is Modern Warfare 4 😬

@Bez87 You've completely misunderstood my point, I'm not even bashing Insomniac, just the fact that Wolverine was first announced in 2021 and now has a 2026 release date. We already know why we haven't seen anything from Blue Point or Bend, so not sure why you are pretending this is some well kept secret. Again, Sony have changed the way they annoucne games. so now if we don't see anything that means it's not ready to be shown.

@cragis0001 I know it would, but we all know Sony have changed their strategy when it comes to promoting new games (8 month cycles I believe).

@Nei I whole heartily agree with you, Rebirth literally had everything you want from a video game (maybe minus Chadley). But I have faith that when part 3 comes out in will win GOTY to redeem this robbery!

@Max_the_German If Steel Frontiers pops off, for one that would great for their Mobile division, but do you really think they are going to cancel a game from one of their top first party studios (which has been in development for years) because a mobile spin off does well?
