Call of Duty has lost a lot of its sheen over the past five or so years

For me CoD lost it's sheen when the newest game was just a copy and paste of the previous one, BO7 is the perfect example of that. Oh and jetpacks were a dumb idea too.

@ChikaBambus That sounds promising! Also remember a couple a weeks ago Naughty Dog were on Crunch to get out a internal Demo to show to Sony.... Maybe they liked what they saw

I remember it like it was yesterday when that one dev from Firewalk said "Concord is a 5v5 hero shooter" everyone knew that game was never going to pan out.

I mean, it's got to show up at some point right? BUT if they end the show on fairgames that would be an awful choice, like I said in the other article all they need to do show good games like the previous SoP everyone will be happy.

@IOI They just had a live service game run for 10 years what you mean? It's ok to hate Bungie but it's very rare to have a live service game run for that long, which has got to mean something right?

Looking back at a previous article about this topic I have agree with the comments they should make a new tier just for online/cloud saves which is either free (huff copium) or priced like Nintendo which for me in the UK is £17.99 for a year

I would say the majority of players (myself included) buy the 12 months deal so therefore won't be affected. Obviously the price increases sucks but I'm very curious to know what the % is for people buying 1 or 3 month deals.

@XenonKnight I just think opening on a hero game and closing on a hero game wouldn't fly for most people, not saying those games wouldn't be hype.

@JoDoMac Well from the play testers on Fairgames, who said it was awful I wouldn't hold your breathe...

They just need to show good games, simple as that, whether that be first party or third party, remember how positive everyone was after the last SoP.

Warhorse sounds like the perfect studio to do a LOTR game. Very interested to see where they go with Kingdom come too.

@Boxmonkey And just like that I 100% agree with you, there will always be room for live service BUT they do need to go back to the PS3/PS4 era whether that's sequels or brand new IP, I think Fair games could be the straw that breaks Sony back (copium)
