@Rich33 Firstly congrats on your timed fame. I understand where you are coming from however I'm sorry to say but you are in the minority with that take, I'm confident in saying 90% of players who buy fighting games are there for the online aspects and even some don't bother playing the story mode (unless some outfits are unlocked through it), also most fighting game stories are extremely short and buying a game a full price just for that is a little foolish, please don't take offence as I'm more addressing the "take" rather then you as a person.

@trev666 Personally I would say the likes of metacrictic players scores or youtube videos/comments are way more egregious.

@trev666 That's a big assumption to make though, some people can play a game AND not like it. You make it sound like if someone played the same game (which you liked) can't possibly have anything negative/critical to say about said game.

@somnambulance Just a reminder, you and me (and others) are also negative/critical about E33 while others obviously disagree with us, that's what makes discourses very interesting to have... when in good faith of course.

I think this game suffers from rose tinted glasses and nostalgia, while not a terrible game by any stretch just think the best thing to come from it was the meme...

@IOI Have to agree with you here, the amount of "leaks and rumours" with anything to do with Resident Evil has reached insufferable levels and the YT videos that go along with it are just as cringe.

People still can't accept the fact Yotei has done really well is wild....

Best get use to seeing all those game staying there, I truly believe that the birth of the "free to play" model was the death on how most people interact with gaming - and no this isn't hate towards Live service as a whole.

honestly 92 is a pretty damn good score, Phantom Blade 0 is my most hyped game since RE9 came out but I can't see that scoring 90+ obvs would love to be wrong on that.

Edit: just looked up and there have been two other Forza games that have scored 92, now there's consistency

@IOI Exactly, they have kinda cornered themselves here, you mean to tell me they are just going to have playstation players stuck with only Gears 1 remake and this Halo remake and make to buy a Xbox to play the others... yeah good luck with that. I'm surprised so many xbox players are singing Asha's praises already.

And this is why I just can't see Xbox going back to exclusives (even though they really should), I think Forza really opened their eyes to how much money there is on the other side of this console fence.

@SmileMan64 it's sold around 600K considering it has sold over 7M that's not a lot is it? but hey if you and the director are happy with those numbers more power to you. Also being well received and selling are two different things, just look at Astrobot, an amazing game even won GOTY but sold around 1.5M copies

@Herculean Rebirth was my GOTY and yes FF7 OST's is one of the greatest ever made but it wasn't all a new OST, there were a lot of arranged pieces in there, and yes some of them are absolute bangers, at the end of the day I just preferred Stellar Blade to win that award, as I said in the one thread if I ever get to hear Tifa's theme live I would probably cry. I would NEVER dishonour Nobuo Uematsu's works!!
