Listen I'm loving the fact that China are taking console gaming seriously, but they are starting to ever so slightly look the same...

@Divergent95 One could argue "for reasons" is just the simple fact no one really asked for this game in first place. I have said multiple times in different articles about different games, I take no joy from games/studios failing but sometimes they just have to admit they got it wrong.

@ShadowRJ As the above states this being F2P and loosing that many players is not good reading.

@themightyant I know it's not going to happened but I would love if they brought the combat improvements from KCD2 to this game, as it's very *rough*at best.

I think in recent years people just can't handle reviews anymore, as stated above people lose their minds over their game "only" getting a 8/10... like there's just no chill anymore, on the flip side I do find some reviews very egregious, an example being Dragon age veilguard. So there needs to be a middle ground of sorts.

I am interested in the game, obvs need to see way more of it before deciding on a purchase or not, I also fear that this live to the hype / how long it's been developed for.

Yes I am looking forward to the remake..... even if it's 30FPS. Speaking of cross overs I think Himako should get Heather's (the MC from SH3) outfit.

@ZeroE There are also meant to be difficulty options so keep that in mind.

@ZeroE People keep mistakely calling it a souls-like but in actual fact it plays like a Ninja Gaiden with dial in combos for example.

Comparing a f2p game against concord is a little redundant.

Most hyped game of the year for me once RE9 has come out! Really hoping there be a collectors editions (at least a steelbook)

This is to do with the REX engine, the interesting thing to note about it, is Capcom could make it available to external devs to use (think like UE4/5) now that could have a lot potential if the right studios could use it!

@Rich33 Again I have faith in Capcom when it comes to Resident Evil as it's their biggest franchise and I think most of the RE engine titles have delivered, maybe with RE7 being the only exception. Really curious of seeing the improvements the REX engine will bring.

Piss-up and brewery come to mind when thinking about Ubisoft recently...

This is a great call, they are still banging games coming out on UE4, hell just look how good Stellar Blade looks.

@Rich33 Thank you my friend, granted I knew RE9 was going to be amazing just from playing RE4R on Pro (as you will know too) Capcom always deliver when it comes to Resident Evil, performance wise.

Watched a lot of streamers play it, yes the game looks/plays fine but definitely not for me

Edit: 3v3 on such a big map is a strange choice, I think 4v4 or 5v5 would do a lot better.

Yes it was a terrible game, but games like this are the ones that deserves a remake the most as the story/concept was actually great. Also that artwork goes hard.

Not reading anything in this article (no offence) have the steelbook on preorder, have the day booked off from work, so safe to say I'm ready for this game!

Honestly Sony just take your time on the PS6, My Pro is doing me just fine.

Porbably for the best, the first one is the only good entry and even that one got old pretty quick.

I am already expecting people to moan about it regardless what is shown off...

Like I said in the other article, this is more then likely a day 1 purchase but would like to see 10 minuets of uncut footage at least on the combat side of things.

Since day 1 I have always thought FF 7 Repose (just look up the definition for it) would be a perfect. Obvs reunion would make the most sense but here we are, also seen a lot people saying Return but that feels a bit too cheesy for my tastes.

I'm a simple man, if I see Resident Evil in the title I'm buying it.

@orvisbean101 There have been a few questionable buyouts/acquisition in gaming over the years, another obvious one is Sony buying Bungie for $3.7B, we will never know how those at the top of these companies see/know.

Very tempted to say the least.

Feel like Nioh 3 has slipped under the radar for most people, this could be down to lack of promotion (until now)

As stated in the article, if the PSSR update is extremely good that also will increase sales too.

This could fill the hole that KCD2 left after I put 400 hours into it.

Edit: I actually agree with the article when they said it reminds them of Plague tales, I played the second one at the end of 2025 and really enjoyed, people should give it a try!
