I watched the showcase to see game play and from what I saw I have complete faith in the game now. Personally not bothered about there not being a demo, but I will say we should have got the one that the "privileged" content creators got to play...

As a said in the movie thread, I think she looks fine I'm more concerned about her acting abilties, but this could be her chance to show the doubters wrong, only time will tell...

@Drnsnsr Yup, if you don't do the optional side quests/mini games and focus on the story, the pace of Rebirth is indeed peachy as you say

@Shepherd_Tallon Getting the platinum for Rebirth was one of the most unfun things I have ever done, mostly because of the VR fights, I'm glad Square acknowledge this and have said part 3 platinum will be more forgiving!

Waiting for part 3 to get a release date then I will replay both parts again. Honestly remake hasn't aged the best, the pacing is pretty bad in places but overall it's a great game, rebirth on the otherhand is a masterpiece and was my GOTY last year.

I mean, people are saying that about the black flag remake too they both can't be immient. Either way I excited to see if they have recaptured the magic the og had.

@Rich33 100% agree with you, I really don't understand why shadow drops have become so popular, everyone should have learnt the lession after oblivion remaster.

I think the charts interesting in one way and bog standard in another, 2025 was a great year for games regardless.

@RoomWithaMoose I just think the BOPs 7 just shows how creatively bankrupt the franchise has gotten, so I agree with the backlash it's getting.

Saying the franchise will only get "bigger and better" going forward is certainly a take, but I guess we will just have to see what MW4 brings to the table,

@Rebusmind This is purely for PSSR (which is in the Pro), I was under the impression the portal had a huge update recently, which improve nearly every aspect of the portal.

I really really do hope this will be a massive up grade, so I can go back through some of my old games and see the differences like when Stellar Blade got the Pro treatment.

@Scottyy Hey if you just didn't jive with the game that's totally fine, for me it just scratched that itch of being a really gamey game.

@ShadowRJ Firstly the game was in development hell (which never bodes well) at one point is was going to be a live service game (with elements of that still in the released product). But to me it just didn't feel like a DA game, Dragon Age Origins will always be peak ,I think the majority of people would agree with me with that, I just can't see any Origins DNA in Veil Guard, I think if was a brand new IP (like Anthem) it would have been recieved more warmly.

I'm going to be that guy and say Veil Guard was/still Bioware's biggest failure (no offence to anyone who likes it) but even Anthem sold more then it and that was a brand new IP...

@Scottyy I mean, there are short cuts which can save you a lot time, I personally never found the run backs unfun and actually liked how different each run was!

Happy to see Returnal in the top 10, one of the best games of the PS5 gen and is the reason I have complete faith in Saros being awesome!

I think 40 for a game like this is reasonable, but if I remember Marathon got flamed when they said it would be the same price... The "good" thing when there's a price tag attached it stops a lot of hackers/cheaters ruining the game for everyone else. A prime example of this is Destiny 2 when they moved the paid model to F2P the amount of cheaters spiked!!
