Ironically, Sony first party is still one of the best publisher in terms of putting full games on discs 😅🤦🏻‍♂️

Can’t believe it’s just a few weeks out at this point, excited to play it!

quite a few 1st party single player games that we know are coming in the next year or two. Wolverine, kena 2, god of war laufrey, intergalactic, and until dawn. Then we got first party single player games coming in the future like like the rumored venom, xmen, and next ratchet. Also the gow trilogy remake and next kratos game, so it seems like Sony is finally getting back to focusing on single player games finally.

Got my physical copy and my controller pre ordered and ready to go. Inject this right into my veins. Or, coat it all over my bones I guess.

Has there been any official statement regarding the disc version, the elephant in the room? Insomniac made it a point to inform everyone the full game is on disc, but that’s been undercut by Sony’s attack on ownership rights and what it implies for next gen. I wonder how many people are going to buy the disc and then get ******* over when there’s no way to play it on PS6. I’m playing it safe and simply not buying it until they inform users.

Is it coming out on punch card as well? It's important to me that all physical formats are covered.

Gold these days pretty much means copper, with this version going away like the penny after they’re done messing with it over the next couple of years, but it’s still good to see they’ve finished an early playable version that will be on a disc. When I burrow that disc from the library at some point in the future I’ll worry about downloading the GB of improvement then.

I wasn't going to buy this but once I found out it only requires 2 button presses and pushing forwards on the analogue stick I was sold..seriously though the game looks a lot better the more I see of it but I'm still going to wait for a sale as I have too much on the go and I really need to show some restraint and self discipline. I hope everybody who's pre ordered it really has a great time on launch day.

@adge_uk Assuming roughly 80GB, it would take up about 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) IBM 80 column punch cards. The collection would weigh around 1,000 metric tons (or tonnes, I guess) and would stack up to a measly 178km. I wonder if it would still be eligible for Prime shipping.

As much as I do not like the decision Sony has made - they have made it crystal clear what will be happening in 2028. Brutally so.

@Jey887 yahs and no one seems to have linked the obvious yet unless I missed it… if physical stops for the next gen onwards and that’s stated as 2028… that obvs means ps6 wont be out until 2028… right? Or am I missing something myself lol

@IntrepidWombat @Mikeg1965 patches will also be sent out on articulated lorries and online play will be done via carrier pigeon. The old ways are the best.
