It has been announced that Path of Exile 2 will hit 1.0 on 11th December 2026 following a year of Early Access. At this point, the Diablo-esque title will go free-to-play, completely shedding its current price point. See it in action in the trailer above.

Anyone interested in the release, either new to the game or a returning player, can sign up to receive in-game rewards on the official website.

Since the early access launch, Grinding Gear Games has been constantly updating the sequel while still working on the first Path of Exile game. While concrete details weren't shared, the 1.0 update will presumably come with new content and updates.
