@Kidfunkadelic83 I'm in the same boat. At our age, I just cannot be bothered to entertain randoms. I'm happy with the campaign & maybe some co-op with mates, but that's it.

I'll buy this solely for the campaign, but I'll happily wait 12 months at least for the sale I want.

I would get it only if the multi player went cross play so I could play that with friends

I can't believe I never played MGS after loving the first on PS1. I purchased 2, 3 & PW on Xbox and am currently enjoying 2 (still on boat at start). I'll play 3 then PW. Hopefully 4 gets re-released soon. Ground Zeroes was soo good and unbelievably addictive.

This makes me sad because Monolith have a tremendous catalogue of hits. NOLF series, FEAR 1+2 & AvP 2 all received GOTY wins or at least noms. More than most studios can accomplish in double the time. I really hoped they'd go back to FEAR and do something with it.

I remember I got my white PS4 Pro for £330 & was bundled with GT Sport, Fallout 4 & something else. Maybe WWII? Killzone maybe? Anyway, it was a great launch deal and I couldn't help it!

Of all the attempts, I like Operation Raccoon City most. It had the best premise and if it had another year of dev time, I think it could've been much better.
I still play it from time to time and enjoy it.

Edit: Forgot about Revelations Raid Mode & the Wii shooters - Darkside and Umbrella Chronicles. Decent efforts there

Would have been more cheaper to do the following:
Make a successor to Vita
Reboot/Remaster Killzone series
People seem to like Resistance series, so could've done something with that.

Still would've had money left over.

I'm hopeful for a RoboCop vs Terminator crossover. Loved the MD version & the comic, this is a great opportunity for Nacon.

I'd have been more excited for a Cool Spot collection. At least those were good games, but I doubt we'll see re-releases of this because of licencing.

@Ryu_Niiyama I think it can be played as a single player, but unsure if it has offline content/capability.

I'm not surprised it flopped, wasn't exactly a great dev ride. Stuck in almost dev hell, but why WB didn't stick to traditional gaming is a shocking misjudgement. The 4 Arkham games before this were all great in their own way, even Origins MP was interestingly made. Live service games suck the life out of the industry & there's no actual metric of guarantee the one you're making will actually gain the positive & sustained attention of the audience.

I find it ironic people actually like Gotham Knights more & see it more of a spiritual successor to the Arkham games than SS.

For me, there's no PS5 games for me to play.
Everything I want to play is also on PS4 (GT7, Ghost of Tsushima) or PC. Where are the games that make me want a PS5, let alone a Pro version? 🤔

A sequel to Remember Me would be awesome.

I thought this was in the Arkhamverse? Joker should not be appearing. Makes City/Knight immediately redundant an non-canon.

Agreed, there are too many games. My backlog is proof of this. Quality titles, but life finds a way to steal my time.

Didn't one of the MK games have over 100 characters on release, naturally you had to unlock them by playing (not a typo 😂), but still. That's solid content. I want to say this was MK4 (?) on Dreamcast?

@Americansamurai1 completely agree. That was a great opportunity to drive more sales via publicity (pun not intended). Guess the PC market will continue with GT via emulation.

I would rather Gran Turismo 7 be ported first. I'd even take GT Sport if it helped GTs case for PC.

A Remember Me remaster & sequel would be good. A great concept that seemed to be reworked into their following IPs.

@Ooccoo_Jr @get2sammyb I jumped from the PS band wagon after the PS4 Pro. I hated how anti consumer Sony had become and also how poor the PS4 family of consoles were made. Using subtitles just so I can understand a game was the last straw. I jumped to Xbox and haven't looked back - just patiently awaiting the announcement of a GT7 port to Steam

@RobN No, no. The driving is absolute trash compared to other driving games like Need for Speed and those are a bit ropey too in places but nothing like GTA. Its literally like driving on ice in GTA

No, I'll get it in a Steam Summer or Winter sale....

I downloaded Red Dead Redemption 2. 105GB. Sit down Sony fans. Lets review this after the first 12 months - maybe then they'll be 120+ especially if GT7 is updated as regularly as GT Sport was.
As systems get more 4K content, this will be the ongoing file sizes.

Nice ploy by Sony Marketers to ensure paid upgrades from PS4 to PS5.

Wow, I wondered when this might happen.
I've not bought a CoD game since the very fun Infinite Warfare.
This years seems to have gone under the radar for me, I've seen literally nothing about it this year which is strange in itself as its usually plastered everywhere.

Glad I've jumped from PS to Xbox for the new gen.

I sold my PS4 with Red Dead because I was sick of hearing the fan while roaming the Wild West. I now have a copy installed and awaiting an upgrade patch on my XSS. It will happen. They'd be silly not to.

@Chimhog haha I must've kept my local Blockbuster open with all my Mega Drive rentals back then too. Sensi might've been my most rented or maybe Ecco 2.

@Flaming_Kaiser I completely understand. I had a PS1/2/4 & have a Sony phone and car radio because you can't knock the quality of their products. The PS exclusives I played I found lackluster (Infamous SS/FL, Uncharted trilogy, TLoU, Killzone & Spider-Man) & couldn't really get into them.

I'm surprised that PS is the top selling console at the moment, but then I guess people have more brand loyalty than me 😂
I've jumped away after PS4 & have a Series S and very happy with it. My friends have stayed with PS though 😂😂😂

so accurate. I started on PES 2014 and I had Balotelli recieve a long ball on the half way line and heel flick it forward over his head to run onto it. I powered on with him and nailed a placed shot in the 90th to take it to 3-3. My friend put his controller down and applauded. Never done it since 😂😂

Nope, I'm done with GT Sport which is sad because I loved GT2 & 3 and raced away for hours. GTS can't keep my attention for more than 5mins & Forza 7 can.

@eagletrippin The Madden game I played had solid AI and could imagine it being great. Sadly that was Madden 95.

Anyway, I think MS are doing what they believe is the right thing. If Sony bought Bethesda - it'd be the same thing only reversed. I do think Bethesda are better off this way as they can hopefully now release games with fewer bugs and have more resources from Xbox Game Studios as a whole.

Let's see if Spider-Man hits PC shall we? I'll no doubt get Horizon on PC, but I find other Sony exclusives have an oddness about them and I just don't find any of them that good.

@danlk1ng haha yeah. I got my GPU for £150, but now it's worth twice that 😂 I'd sell, but I'd end paying wayyy too much at the moment. I'll keep this one for a few years yet as graphics are never top my list for games.

@danlk1ng I did reuse the existing case, SSD/HDDs & graphics card (RX 590). New CPU (Ryzen 9), motherboard, power supply, 32GB Ram & a couple of extra fans (all seperate, no bundles)

@huyi Mine would, but I spent in the region of £1100-£1300 (£700 on the CPU alone) on it and built it myself and I don't have anything that displays above 1080p. I can say it's a super crisp 1080p 😂😂
