This jives with normal Japanese Dragon Quest box art. This series in Japan is like Grand Theft Auto in the States popularity-wise.

My ps+ is due for renewal in November anyway. If this comes stateside I'll grab it.

Played all of them. 2 was my favorite by far. I loved the setting and the story. To be fair though they are all awesome. The first Uncharted was my reason for buying a Ps3 when I already had an Xbox 360 at the time.

@get2sammyb I agree, that sounds crazy in the context of rocket league (awesome game). However, shooters have operated this way for years, those with more playtime in call of duty or battlefield have the best guns and perks and equipment. Also, i dont know if the U.K. had the same disclaimer, but in North America it warns you not to play walker assault until you have leveled up the first time you play that mode.

Also, to those unhappy about the lack of campaign, have you played any of the original Battlefront games? It was basically multiplayer with bots and no campaign to speak of.

I agree with the balancing for the Walker assault being off. But I think with the collective players level rising that would change (many of the destructive weapons require higher level cards). I think how much you enjoy this is directly related to how much you enjoy Battlefield and Star Wars. I personally am a longtime fam of both and this is like a dream come true for me.

Just Cause 2 was one of my favorite PS3 games. It was huge, had a ton of places to discover (there was a giant blimp flying around with a Rave on it), the shooting mechanics worked well and the grappling hook parachute combo was lots of fun.

@get2sammyb Agreed, this would have looked awful on a giant tv. To bring it in line with the other games would have required basically creating all new art. Not cost effective.

I'm not suprised that Sony has no plans for a new handled. In my eyes the Vita and the PlayStation Tv had a lot of promise and it seemed like Sony just left it to die. Then again, I am not privy to all of the information that led Sony to treat it this way.

@get2sammyb Looks like 150 million DS sold vs 53 million 3ds sold. That's quite a drop.

I had Final Fantasy Adventure on the original game boy. Loved it. I would buy this for sure if it's available on PlayStation tv, but more likely will give my money to the App Store since this probably won't get ported or localized.

I would buy the heck out of this. I've been playing Dragon Quest since it was Dragon Warrior in the States back in the 80s.

F Konami. The least they could do in their greed is sell their IP so someone else can make the next Metal Gear, Silent Hill etc.

I had high hopes as I love mad max movies and avalanche hit a home run with just cause 2 in my opinion. But oh well. I'll pick it up on the cheap down the road.

It's like my childhood cartoons in video game form. This looks amazing. I've always been a fan of cel shaded art style in games (auto modelesta was great). I may pick this up.

@themcnoisy The sand crawler was ridiculous. There was a cheat code you could use a the the title screen that let you select which level you would start on. Wonder if that will still apply in this.

@iv-tecman The SNES return of the Jedi was the best. You got to play as an ewok.

I wish I had a reason to buy a new ps4. Although it would be even better if there was a Yoda version.

EA is right. I wouldn't play a battlefront campaign. I would go straight to the multiplayer.

Unless i missed something, I am actually very much looking forward to this game. I've always preferred tactical shooters to the ridiculous bullet sponge call of duty/battlefield games.

Does it really matter if it is selling in Japan? I mean, I understand it's their home and they want it to sell there, but it's on track to be the best selling home console of all time. I say who cares? Transformers did meh here In The states but crushed it in China and I don't see Michael Bay worrying.

This is ridiculous. Microsoft bought everything that wasn't nailed down on 360. Never mind the timed deals with call of duty and ea.

I've been playing Rocket Leauge every chance I get. My best friend and I played til the wee hours last Saturday 2 on 2 online. I was out of my seat yelling at the tv every time we scored. We talked and laughed pretty much throughout the entire experience and I was totally entertained. It's been a long time since a game has provided so much fun. love it.

It feels weird, like I feel like I should be mad it ripped off mega man, but it's inafune who is making it. Dr white/dr light. I don't know. Weird.

Limbo was awesome, but as I have already played it I am looking forward to Lara croft.

@get2sammyb this will send Japanese ps4's flying off the shelf. We'll probably see it in the west around 2017 if we are lucky.

Bwahahahaha!!!! Thermal paste! I recently started playing on my shiny new MacBook Pro and I am not a huge fan of the keyboard mouse setup, I even bought a razer death adder mouse to make sure it wasn't the hardware that made me not like it. Give me a dualshock any day (luckily most of the Mac games are compatible with my DS4).

How did that Microsoft deal workout for Respawn and Titanfall.

@get2sammyb I believe the price drop is due this year. $300 is a nice sweet spot. I think it will appeal to a wider audience that is currently hanging onto their 360's and ps3's.

I am still enjoying Rocket Leauge! Kill zone would be sweet. I already played through it and traded it in, but the multiplayer is fun and if it was free it would probably get a bunch of new players on the servers.

@get2sammyb For sure. Dragon Quest in Japan sells like Call of Duty in the states. I would buy this for sure. I've been playing Dragon Quest since it was Dragon Warrior on NES, and I am fond of minecraft.

@sonicmeerkat I was just about to write the same thing when I saw your post. Bluepoint is the best when it comes to upscaling ports.

@Splat I agree. Although I enjoyed Uncharted 2 more than 3 even though 3 was more advanced technology wise. I really enjoyed the storyline and setting for 2.

Iwata was an admirable person in many ways. So good natured and strong enough to drive forth such innovation in the face of nervous investors. He will be missed.

@JaxonH Well said. The lack of any real punishment for the one member who was caught just encourages them. Why worry, if they get caught nothing is going to happen to them.

I have never played an mmo before with the exception of DC universe online as they looked very boring gameplay-wise, but I bought this day one and I love it.

@Dohv Exactly, they can't afford to not release on ps4. That's like losing over half their sales.

Yeah, this should be awesome. Persona 4 Golden on vita was my first persona game and I must say I've never experienced anything like that before. Looking forward to this. I need to clear my backlog first though.

@get2sammyb That would be cool if you had more early access reviews. I value the opinion of the Pushsquare crew when making a purchase! Then again I try not to buy games day one anymore unless it's a sure thing like the Witcher 3.

@Radbot42 That is a good point. @get2sammyb does pushsquare not receive review copies in advance? I have noticed you sister site nintendolife.com normally has advanced reviews, but I have never seen one here.

I like it. I think if they had Netflix Amazon prime and Hulu plus on there it would be a much easier sell though.
