Final Fantasy Adventure, a Game Boy title that originally released all the way back in 1991, has a curious history – namely because it's not technically a Final Fantasy game at all and is actually the predecessor to Super Nintendo classic, Secret of Mana. Either way, a remake is in development for the PlayStation Vita and smartphones, which will replace the original's sprites with 3D graphics.
This is actually not the first time that the title has been revisited, as there was a Game Boy Advance version named Sword of Mana which released in 2003. As you can tell it's all very confusing, so it's probably a good thing that this looks like gash iPhone guff that will probably never get a Western release on Sony's handheld system.

I would totally get this if it comes out over here. Final Fantasy Adventure is one of my favorite games on the original GB, and this looks like it's more based off that version than Sword of Mana (which had a slew of differences in the story, presentation, and gameplay to make it more like the other Mana games).
If it releases on the vita TV, I would definitely get it. I don't think it looks bad. Though it being on iphone too i see micro transactions. (hopefully I'm wrong) Well as long as it isn't extremely riddled with micro transactions, I'll get it.
Same. I would buy this on the vita.
I hope this will be compatable with PSTV.
Looks good actually...on vita of course. Bring it west and I'll take a cartridge.
Funny how they decided to put this on Vita and not 3DS, being so low-poly and a remake of a Gameboy classic.
I prefer to play EVERYTHING on Vita basically, but that's an interesting choice. Oh wells, good for us!
I also want this for my Vita!
I want this in the US.Here is one thing the PS vita is getting Game Boy games now.
@Tasuki - I know very little about PSTV. Does it come with it's own controller or do you use a PS3/PS4 one or what?
@Splat I believe you can buy it with a ps3 controller but you can use both ps4 and ps3 controller with it.
Is the pstv just a streaming device for a ps4 or ps3 already in your home? Does it also have psnow? Sorry to tired to look all this up on my own lol.
Wonder if it will come to the 3ds too
I would definitely but this if it came to the west, so hopefully Sony makes it happen!
@SonyInfinity is psvita system (that can't play all vita games, gotta look up the list that supports it) that can stream ps4, and does support psnow.
Thx bud
I'll buy it, but it probably won't come west.
I had Final Fantasy Adventure on the original game boy. Loved it. I would buy this for sure if it's available on PlayStation tv, but more likely will give my money to the App Store since this probably won't get ported or localized.
