How does Uncharted 2: Among Thieves look on the PlayStation 4? Honestly, a lot like you remember it. Meristation has got its grubby mitts on four or so minutes of that E3 2009 moment running on Sony's new-gen system in 1080p at 60 frames-per-second, and it's sure looking slick. It's still very much the same game, though. Obvs.
As an aside, do you remember when this portion was shown in Los Angeles over six years ago? It really put Naughty Dog's buccaneering brand on the map – even though its predecessor had been well received. Still, if you'd have shown us last month's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End demo at the time, we wouldn't have believed it possible.
Ain't it funny how expectations change?

You can tell immediately that the lighting's been improved.
The leap from Uncharted to Uncharted 2 was huge... I enjoyed the first one but the second one blew it out of the water.
Hope they really improved the looks of the first game, as the visual leap from that to Among Thieves was astronomical.
I haven't played any Uncharted except I think a demo of the first one so BRING. IT. ON.
Also, Drake has a nice butt. I'd fondle it.
@Splat @ShogunRok Yesss
@ShogunRok It's had some soft bloom added, but having literally replayed UC2 within the last week, that's all that stands out to me.
@Splat I agree. Although I enjoyed Uncharted 2 more than 3 even though 3 was more advanced technology wise. I really enjoyed the storyline and setting for 2.
@ShogunRok Yeah, but that was the only thing I could really see. Although, is it just me or do the weapon icons look a little different?
Considering that this was a game that looked amazing on PS3, they only just need to up the res a bit.
@DerMeister Nah, it's not just you.
Personally I can't see any significant differences. It maybe because my memory of the PS3 game is making me think that version was visually 'better' than it actually was and this isn't as great as U4 looks making it appear less visually impressive too.
@Splat I'm in the minority here that enjoyed the first one more. To be honest though that's probably because it was my first ever ps3 game, so it holds a special place in my grubby heart.
Doesn't seem worth it to me especially without the multiplayer.
ugh.. someone took the video down...
