I am going to say this is a bad move on Sony's part. Publishers are already looking to put as little money into games as possible, I don't see Activision deciding to make a special "mode" for one of their games out of the goodness of their heart to pander to the few people who have this new machine and adhere to Sony's "minimum requirements ". I'm calling this thing DOA before it's even out. The only way I see it selling is if it replaced the current ps4 altogether which they apparently aren't doing either.

@sub12 I agree. It's too bare bones which is why I have passed so far. I have been a street fighter fan since 2 on snes but I will wait for the price to drop or the content to get fleshed out with updates.

I have really enjoyed Battlefront so far, but their slow supply of DLC let me get distracted by other games like Call of Duty and the Division. I find it hard to get back into it.

I was really confused when I saw Resident Evil 6 on the online store. I am a fan of the series, but skipped the PS3 version after the awful reviews and playing the demo. RE 5 would have been a better choice to remake since 4 has been remastered like 10 times already.

I just picked up an Xbox one and they do all these things on there. You can "pin" the games/apps that you use the most to your home screen. And you can view the full library of games or apps or both.

@get2sammyb I just replayed GTA Vice City and San Andreas on ipad with a Bluetooth gamepad, so the controls actually seem great in comparison. The visuals however look like they are having double vision half the time. The game is still one of Rockstar's best in my opinion. Here's to hoping for Bully 2!

@get2sammyb ive been dreaming of this since i played a vr game at epcot center in the 90s.

I have a lot of friends who think its a character flaw that I buy new games without finishing old ones. Guacamele is the one they sight the most, as they said I was never going to finish it before I bought it. But I have been gaming for over 30 years, and back when I was 5 playing NES games, it was a reality that I wasn't going to complete Metroid or Ghosts and Goblins or Contra since my dad wouldn't buy me a game genie to cheat with. That doesn't mean I didnt have fun playing these games until I was bored with them (finished or not). I have completed long games (every GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Fable, Several Final Fantasy's and Most if the Dragon Quest games to name a few). And I have short games (The Order im looking at you) that I didnt make it halfway through and have no desire to go back to. I paid to have a good time, and if I am not excited when I boot up a game I will find something better to do. Then again, it's not part of my job description.

I wont be picking it up on launch day. I am too engrossed in Far Cry Primal right now and the Star Wars Battlefront update should be hitting soon so meh for now.

@get2sammyb Broforce only won because all of the choices were unappealing. I didn't bother to vote because they all look awful. At this point I look at ps+ as I did at xbox live back im the day, you are paying for playing online. The last thing I downloaded was Grim Fandango, I still haven't played it.

I am the first to admit when I am wrong, and boy was I wrong about Drive Club. I thought the super delayed ps+ version meant there was something wrong with the game or that I shouldn't buy it because they were trying to cash in by delaying the free version. There is no denying the fact that Drive Club has received some of the best post launch content of any game period, most if which was either free or very reasonably priced. I am happy to be wrong in this case. Wonderful game.

I would love to see the wwii shooter come back. Or just a current day shooter. Why did we go from WWII to Modern Warfare to Sci-Fi future shooter without pausing.

When they say 1 to 1 re-creation do they mean they replicated Manhattan on a 1 to 1 scale? If so, that is a huge map, and releasing a 1 to 1 scale New York City as an online game would be a little empty probably.

You could edit the date for different cars.

Like the picture at the beginning of the story and Victor I remember spending New Years 2002 with friends playing Simpsons hit n run, thats how we found out you get special vehicles on holidays (Krusty's clown car for New Years). This year we played Super Mario Maker and Star Wars Battlefront.

You know, I was thinking about this last night while I was playing Battlefront. I was able to play on Christmas day as well with no interruption. Good for you Sony! Good for us too

I got a yoda disney infinity statue Call of Duty Black ops III and PSN credit. Not PlayStation related but, as I am a huge Star Wars fan (especially yoda) I got a deluge of Star Wars presents.

Awesome! I used to pump quite a few quarters into the teenage mutant ninja turtles arcade game back in tue 80s.

Im happy with this month's selection, but overall I havent been very happy with the free games this year. I think the biggest problem with PS+ is something no one is talking about- it is required for online play on ps4. Sony doesn't have to entice new PS+ subscribers with awesome game giveaways when they are already forced to buy it if they want to play online.

Sad that the pre-made-slightly-insulting-stereotype-characters will be left out. They were always good for a laugh. I am certain the game will be entertaining, hot shots(or everone's golf in Europe right?) has been a must buy for me since the first PlayStation.

This is the best ps+ for me in the last year. Kings Quest was aleays super fun and I hear gauntlet is cool. Also, freedom wars is supposed to be one of the best vita games ever. Thanks Sony!

Ive been playing Battlefront online and Co-Op offline with friends. Also, I have been subjecting myself to The Super Star Wars Ps4 port(forgot how hard that was).

The fact that there are a lot more ps4s in the wild than xbox ones probably has something to do with the fact that there are more people playing on ps4. As far as pc goes, they are probably all playing counter strike or ark survival evolved....

I wouldn't mind killzone. I played through it at launch and traded it, but it is one if the best looking ps4 games to this day in my opinion and I wouldnt mind revisiting it.

@get2sammyb Bully for sure! I had it on my 360 and never finished it because of the rrod. I am amazed it hasnt been ported to everything like GTA.

Sooooo, can we buy the games that come with the special edition ps4? I thought it was just super star wars, i could only find the bundle on ps3 on psn.

@benrawr Also you get a discount. If each pack cost $15 then getting all 4 for $50 gets $10 off.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that people were posting Fall out 4 clips on pornhub to avoid them being taken down. IGN reported on this in August http://m.ign.com/videos/2015/08/17/fallout-4-gameplay-leaked-to-pornhub-up-at-noon.

@GraveLordXD I agree, I have been playing since atari and this is the least excited I have ever been about gaming.

I blame the mobile market for this crap. How can you expect candy crush to make a bazillion dollars and some corporate bozo at activision not notice and say "Gee, we should have random gift packages and time outs in the next call of duty". Hell, it was in battlfield 4 with the stupid briefcases and paying to unlock guns.

Ive played every call of duty online and off, black ops ii was my favorite multiplayer entry in the series. As it turns out, I have lost interest in the series. I hear about this game and it does nothing for me. Call of Duty, we had a good run, but Im cashing out.

This is civ rev 2. On the ipad the first civ rev was great, 2 was a micro transaction heavy rip off.

Im going to say yes. I think it has the best catalog of all times. Thats why they are still re-releasing ps2 titles.

I am glad for the people who enjoy this game. That is the point of gaming- to have a good time, otherwise it would be called work. However, destiny feels like work to me. Every time I hear something new about it it just reinforces my decision to abstain. I will continue to sneak around afghanistan with snake and soon shoot some storm troopers in the dome.

I feel kinda like Bethesda for some reason doesnt much care for Sony. What with the quality of their games on ps3.
