Once again coming out with bold claims that we can actually believe, CD Projekt Red has revealed in an interview with Gamereactor that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's upcoming expansions will be "almost the size of The Witcher 2".
Dishing out juicy bits of information was the Polish developer's Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who spilled plenty of beans regarding the role-playing game's future content. "The expansion packs will be whole new storylines with all the elements you've got in the main story (like cutscenes, new characters, new items, new Gwent cards) and many, many more. They will be quite long. The first expansion will be around 10 hours and the second expansion will be around 20 hours," he told the publication.
Sounds pretty good, doesn't it? Do you think that Geralt's latest will keep on giving, or have you had enough of this particular adventure? Contemplate how much family time you're missing in the comments section below.

Love this game. One of only two development teams i would give my cash to without any thought. CDPR and FROM SOFTWARE
I love this game and with a somewhat shallow summer release schedule, I'll be sure to finally finish this. As for the expansions, I'll buy them but may not get to them for awhile with fallout, FIFA, pes, and others releasing.
Definitely picking up the expansions The Witcher3 is an excellent game.
I still need to complete vanilla Witcher 3... Too much to do! 😔
So nothing new about the DLC we didn't know before the game released???? That's exactly what they said MONTHS ago
Considering you could easily spend 200hrs on the disc game (I spent 150hrs and never completed the gwent, racing or fist fighting quests - and still have a lot of ?'s too, 30hrs is tiny - nowhere near as large as the disc content! I am sure I spent more than 50-60hrs on the Witcher 2 so I don't see how this can be as large either and that was more linear as well. I spent more than 10 hours in the first open area after leaving Kaer Morhen (the training section)
I'm gunna get back into this, need to finish it off! Having said that it still runs rather poorly on PS4, it really should be played on PC I suppose.
Maybe eventually. There's just so much to the game that although it is awesome, I'll probably want to take a break from it for a while after finishing the main game.
I'd love to see if that's true, now if only Witcher 1 and 2 would be remastered.
@adf86 The Witcher 1 has aged very poorly and 2 isn't much better.
Honestly a bit too much content in the main game for me, I'll wait and see how much story is in the extra content.
I need to finish batman so I can get back to the witcher. I bought the season pass so this is quite intimidating.
All ready paid for. Now I just have to wait.
