I would love if they announced a remake of 2 next since it's my favorite entry in the series. Arguably better than the first game but like the others said, hope they reimagine 3. The first 2 were fantastic but then DS3 went into a different direction and it wasn't that good.

@GuyProsciutto Eh, I personally never had an issue with Chie's new English VA.

I didn't end up buying it since I guess it really never grabbed my attention. Plus, I know I'm gonna be busy with other new games coming out.

@NEStalgia We did kinda get the "Save anywhere" feature in both games but worked in a different way. You would just hit quick save and then you'd be put back into the main menu. And then you would continue from that but it would get deleted. Not too big of a fan of that kind of saving but I was still very happy since I could finally play P3P and P4G (decided to play Golden first) on something else besides the Vita or PC.

Currently playing Persona 4 Golden which will probably be my main game for a while. Was gonna play P3P but there's two bugged trophies so I'm waiting for an update on that.

Yep, I ended up buying both since I never played them before or the original P3 and P4. I heard that there was an audio quality issue with P3P but it probably won't bother me that much. Currently playing P4G first and been loving it so far.

Excellent review overall. I never got the chance to play this on the Vita or Steam release so I am very excited to play this tomorrow.

@meistergeister I have to disagree with your statement about Rising. I think it's one of the best Metal Gear games in the series and Raiden is a cool character.

Much better year than 2022. Didn't expect Mirage to be a 2023 game but more of 2024 one. Still looking forward to getting it later this year.

No, I ended up not picking up Callisto Protocol despite me being hyped for it in the first place. I'm quite glad that I changed my view after hearing negative things about it. Also, wasn't really too surprised that the game failed to meet sales expectations.

Definitely picking up P4G and P3P. Only wish that we could pre-order them instead of waiting for them on release day but oh well.

I watched a streamer play the demo live on twitch and it just didn't really click with me. No offense to Frey's VA but her constant talking and dialogue made me pass on the game.

Persona 3 Portable, P4G, and the Dead Space remake are pretty much the only January games I'm excited for.

Glad I waited for TLOU Part 1 to be on sale so I picked that one up. Probably gonna play that after I platinum Ragnarok.

@Judal27 I played Nirvana Initiative and I highly recommend it. I didn't have a big issue with the story and I thought it was much better than the first game.

The spear easily. I'm already familiar with the axe and Blades (both are still cool) but I much prefer the spear and how fun it is to use.

I don't mind that I need to beat the game twice, once per protagonist. Someone else said that Tartarus was tedious or something along those lines. I've never played any of the P3 games so I'll have to experience that for myself. I'll probably play P4G first though because that was the one that I was most interested in but I know I'll enjoy P3P as well.

@zebric21 I don;t think that 76 has any of the PS5 upgrade stuff so you'll still be playing like it was on PS4.

@dschons I personally prefer 7 and 8 over XI.

I never played the original and I've heard that it's much better than that one so I ended up buying it.

I was excited thanks to the reveal trailer at the game awards, but I think I'll probably pass. Was never a big Payday person in the first place but I hoped that it was also a single-player game. Props to those who are looking forward to this game though.

@Mr_Gamecube No need to be salty that God of War: Ragnarok won Best Music over Xenoblade or Forbidden West. Saying that you're glad that it lost Game of the Year is honestly disrespectful.

I'm happy for Elden Ring winning GOTY even though Ragnarok was a close second.

I absolutely loved the cabaret minigame in both 0 and Kiwami 2. So I'm really glad that RGG Studio decided to bring it back for Gaiden. The music was actually quite good for this side stuff. Even though Kiwami 2's version played similarly to 0's I still enjoyed it.

This is a strange thing to be locked behind a season pass.

Seeing a game take place in space by Supermassive Games is going to be interesting. I hope it turns out well at some point in the future since I love the whole space setting a lot.

I'm looking forward to Reunion since I never played the OG Crisis Core. Plus, being able to play it in 4K60 is going to be nice since I haven't gone back to 30 frames in a while.

Porter being recast doesn't really bother me but I have to say that he did a good job as Harry in the 2018/Remastered games. He did play a minor role but still, solid performance overall. I still have high hopes for Spider-Man 2 next year.

I'm okay with this delay since the Dead Space remake and Hogwarts Legacy are like 2 weeks apart from each other. As someone that has loved the Dead Island series, I hope DI2 turns out to be a great zombie game.

@Tasuki I wouldn't really call MWII a dumpster fire tbh. Obviously it's not a perfect game but a lot of people bought it and are still playing it.

Very bold to already think about a sequel to the game. Hopefully the game sells really well.

One of the best news I've seen today. Been waiting for this one to get a Western localization and we finally get it next year.

Pretty happy that no multiplayer trophies are needed since...there isn't one in the remake. I've never liked mp trophies in the first place (unless it was co-op).

@SuperSilverback 3 million is actually not that hard to make if you're #1 in the management property. I forget how much I had by the time I had to hand 3 million yen over, but it was more than enough.

@WallyWest I disagree. I absolutely loved Dead Island and Riptide when I first played them. Plus, Dying Light 2 wasn't as good as the first game imo.

Not a bad month at all and will be trying out Tony Hawk and Little Nightmares since I already played Yakuza 7.

One of my most anticipated games of this year. Absolutely loved the 2018 GoW and I have faith that Ragnarok will be very good as well.

A remake of 3 but combining the elements of Persona 3 Portable and FES would be the best P3 experience imo.

Bold of Ubisoft to release this a day before Ragnarok.

@Styledvinny79 I can already tell that you are going to be completely wrong about PSVR2 being a flop.

@OmegaStriver I played the first game and it actually turned out pretty good. One of the best mystery-solving VNs I've played. Plus, the English voices were some of the best I've heard in games.

I never played it even back when I had an Xbox 360 so hopefully a remaster is announced at some point.

Original was fine as I barely had any frame drops on a Pro. Hopefully it's a free upgrade but knowing Atlus, maybe not. Guess we'll have to see.

Always great to have more newcomers to the Persona series. Excited for P4G since I never played it.

I'll be waiting for a discount then probably get it. Will finally be able to plat it as well since I never played the PS3 one and the remastered still kept those online trophies in.
