Playing and enjoying Mafia The Old Country - i understand the criticisms of its basic gameplay and it is basic indeed but im loving the overall vibe and presentation
Replaying the greatest RTS ever made in Dawn Of War Remastered Definitive Edition ...superb, Relic in their prime, bringing back memories of this game taking over my life in 2004.
Gonna take new character Sagat ( crazy that he's DLC ) online in Streetfighter 6 for a few bouts

I don't really think any of them need remastering tbh....still as playable as they ever were. DA2 looks great on XBX - yes for sure they'd look a lot better if remastered, but no real need

Trying to clear my (huge) backlog by focusing on some lesser known, lower profile games that I've been sat on for years
So, finished the Onimusha Warlords remaster - forgot how great this game was in its PS2 heyday. Brilliant
Should finish Rogue Trooper Redux - a VERY basic but enjoyable shooter but once played, best forgotten..
I'll also complete SOMA but haven't really been that into it, it's merely ok ....Still Wakes The Deep did it all a 1000 times better

Hoping to finish the wonderful Death Stranding on PS5 so I can buy and devour the 2nd one. Had a real love / hate relationship with it but love it now. Bonkers and brilliant.
Playing Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight on PC along with System Shock 2 Remastered - one of the all time greats.

@Balaam_ ...i can't imagine why anyone would play a Battlefield game (or any game really) just for Trophies. Imagine never playing a Mario or Zelda game because there's no Trophy list.
Did you ever play games before Achievements or Trophies were a thing ?

@Zuljaras ...the STALKER games are great, but nothing like Fallout really. They're very much old school PC survival shooters, can be very difficult and obtuse but are superb. The recent STALKER 2 is utterly brilliant

Hoping to finish the superb Avowed on GamePass, such a great fantasy RPG set in the Pillars Of Eternity universe.
Also just finished Onimusha Warlords on PS4 - such great nostalgic memories of playing this on PS2 back in the day, even some of the horrific puzzles !
Also gonna dabble in online scraps in MK1 and Streetfighter 6 ...tune in to watch me getting my fat ass kicked !

Trying to finish Death Stranding on PS5 as im itching to.play the 2nd although I have a love / hate relationship with the 1st.
I'm also taking a vow to complete Avowed on XBX - a very good game, it's literally The Outer Worlds in a fantasy setting. Worth playing when it comes to PS5, as it undoubtedly will.

@arsmolinarc ....the developers are Ukrainian. But the game was made in Prague, where they're now based. Although 2 of the development team were killed, choosing to defend their country

This game is fantastic. A truly immersive, hardcore, PC style survival shooter. Its been patched to high heaven and runs superbly on XBX now. I've completed it twice and looking forward to many more playthroughs.
It kicks Atomfalls arse too lol !

@Anya-chan oh it does look good, I'll be buying it for sure, just doesn't scream "Mafia" to me, not like the first 2 games. 3 was awful.....when I think of the Mafia, I think Goodfellas, The Godfather etc. Not Uncharted style gameplay

So nothing like a Mafia game then

@Alps_Stranger ...i played the campaign twice, solo only. It was brilliant fun, a fantastic game. Not sure why it wouldn't be ....?
The multiplayer and co-op missions are superb too

@16BitHero yes , fully agree. Its a proper 'looker' now too, graphics are very sharp indeed. Both DLC episodes are great fun. And yeah no Jedi or flooded with the usual Star Wars characters either. Loved it. A long game too - my save file was 66hrs !

@Marquez good taste in games there ! Love Veilguard and Outlaws, yet to pick up DS2

Just finished all the Star Wars Outlaws DLC packs with 100% trophy collection- this game has been fantastic, they really turned it around with all the updates. Well recommended if you're on the fence.
More Death Stranding 1 ..really into this game now after not being sure - I've put around 46 hrs in so far and no idea how long is left - I've seen some say it's around the 200hr mark ! 😬but looking forward to the 2nd game eventually.
I'm also hoping to bed my young virgin maiden, hoping she can give me a child then I can poison my current wife and children - oh, I'm also playing Crusader Kings 3 🤴 🤣🤣

No need for a single player campaign whatsoever. The campaigns in 3,4 , 1 & 5 were all mediocre at best.
I appreciate they need to appeal to a wider audience, though

Even on PC, this has aged like 6 month old milk. It simply HAS to be played with mods now for it to be playable. This PS2 port was actually good back in the day though, but must be virtually unplayable now

Finished Still Wakes The Deep , very good with excellent sound design. Just gonna go back and mop up the last few achievements.
More Death Stranding on PS5 - sometimes I love it, sometimes I think it's boring, pretentious twaddle. Been in my backlog for years !
Having a multiplayer fest too with Battlefront 2 and Battlefield V both still amazing online shooters !

Fully deserved! It is literally the finest fighting game ever made- surpassing Ultra SF4 and SF 5....there's a common theme there

Plodding on - literally - with the uniquely brilliant Death Stranding on PS5. Utterly bonkers and I love it its been in my backlog for years !
Also, the new RTS Tempest Rising on PC - this is superb, brings back memories of the classic Westwood years. Will be one of my GOTY for sure.
I've also bought and made a start on Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon thanks to the guys on here and enjoying it - very clunky but I'm a sucker for this type of game !
