Two of the best RTS games ever made ! I implore you all to pick these up - literally a lifetime of gaming, I've been playing them both on & off since 2004 - these 2 remasters are a gem

Always loved this series - ive played every iteration since Civ 1 ! But Eurogamer have given it a detailed, damning review which has totally made me cancelling any ideas of purchasing this. Such a shame

Forget about any more mediocre campaigns - just please deliver the ultimate multiplayer experience a la BF 2 /3/4 ...2042 did redeem itself a little but too little too late.
I remember playing BF1942 back in the early 00's and literally playing it for days at a time. Bring that back !

Trying to plat the amazing Stellar Blade but that Brute boss REALLY kicks ass big time. What a game though !
Trying to mop up the final Achievements in Indy Jones before I do another story run through.
Also blitzing through the lovely Crew Motorfest which is a joy to play and get lost in.

@trev666 totally agree. I've completed it and the expansion and enjoyed it a lot without calling it a masterpiece. The very definition of a 7/10 game

@Frmknst ...wow you really gave the game a chance didnt ya ? Calling it "effing awful" after only an hour is ridiculous....its a 200 hr RPG which like most games really evolves and opens up as you play. The first hour is barely a tutorial - I'm presuming you've never played Skyrim or a Fallout game

Been so busy working the last 2 weekends but now I'm back baby !
So im on an Achievement mop up on Indy Jones on GamePass. This turned out to be my GOTY for '24. Let's hope it rocks up on PS5 soon.
Im also blitzing WOW The War Within which is the freshest WoW has been in years, it's outstanding....15hrs flys by playing this 😅
More of the superb Stellar Blade too but man some of the bosses kick my ass hard, but I won't rest until I get the Platinum

Angel of Darkness is a complete turd of a game in every way. All the remastering and QoL improvements will never un-turd it

@ApostateMage reading your posts on here, I think we have VERY similar taste in games - believe me, Veilguard is a great game. Yes there's SOME questionable dialogue but there's also some fantastic writing in there too - some of the side quests with the cast of characters ( similar to ME2 loyalty missions, are superb, one in particular but I won't spoil it ) the lore of the game is deep and overall I loved it.
Most people slating the game on here have never played it

@Rich33 ...I thought Veilguard was great, too. Some fantastic quests hidden in there, there's actually some GREAT writing in it ( see : Solas ) and some stunning locations.
Most people on here slating it as "Failguard LOLZ" have 1000% haven't played it

Hoping for a full on remaster with a great graphics upgrade and QOL improvements. The original has aged like a bad curry - only really playable these days on PC with a tonne of mods

Fantastic, ground breaking game back in its day. But unfortunately it's aged like a bad curry. It plays well on PC with lots of mods - that's the only worthwhile way to play it now I fear

Is it just me that thinks Persona 3 is the most repetitive, dull, easy slog of a game ? It looks like it.
Granted, I only spent about 18hrs with it but maann....

@BIG3 I'm loving STALKER 2 as well but yeah I agree, it can be frustrating as hell. It's too realistic sometimes- damn those Bloodsuckers and poltergeist....i spend most of the game time just running away !

Been playing Indiana Jones on XBX which the wife bought me and it's an absolute gem of a game ! A bit slower paced than I thought but a joy to play
Done 4 missions on Helldivers 2 and trying to get to grips with it but loving it so far. I just worry I'm so late to the party with it all but it looks like there's lots of other new Xmas noobs like me lol.
On New Years Day me and the daughter will start Astrobot together and we're both excited!

This is a fantastic, old school PC style survival shooter. An utterly immersive game - get all over it when it does eventually come to PS5, you won't regret it

Fully agree with Dragons Dogma 2......a brilliant experience in emergent gameplay. Stellar Blade is also unmissable

Just finished DA Veilguard ..loved it, despite some ropey dialogue
Gotta help with shopping and pre Xmas stuff or the wife will be in a rage if I just play STALKER 2 all weekend but will sneak in some late night sessions of WOW The War Within which is outstanding.
Looking forward to some new Christmas games in Indiana Jones and Helldivers 2 - just hoping i haven't missed the boat on that !

Installed this, played for 40 minutes, uninstalled it and deleted it. Utterly not for me ha ha. Too chaotic and hectic. Think im way too old now lol. It is literally Overwatch with Marvel skins ( but not as good )

STALKER 2 on XBX....a serious GOTY contender for me. An old school, hardcore PC style shooter. It's unbelievably immersive. God knows how Pure Xbox gave it a 4/10 !!??
Will do another run on another XBX GOTY, the gobsmacking Hellblade 2 ....i hope this comes to PS5 for the non Xbox-ers. It's superb.
I really want to play Indiana Jones but the Mrs has bought me it for Xmas so I can't aarrgghh. Not a popular opinion here but Xbox has had a great year with the above games along with MS Flight Simulator.
Also trying to Plat the amazing DA Veilguard on PS5. Loving the Game whilst tolerating some bad dialogue but overall it's fantastic!

I have this on PS5, XBX and PC so looking forward to more playthroughs on each format.
My backlog is just so huge !

Rivals, PoE 2 and Nikki.....examples of live service done right. Watch those players and money just flow in....

I've done 2 playthroughs so far, will do many more. One of the best games of all time. In my top 10 for sure

Heavily into WoW The War Within on PC. This is outstanding, the best WoW expansion since Legion. The new changes such as soloable delves and dungeons is a game changer.
Loving Black Ops 6 too, by far the best CoD in years- fantastic campaign and the multiplayer is as peerless as ever, as long as you ignore the ridiculous skins !
Will continue with the excellent DOA The Veilguard - not far off fully completing it now I think, here's to the Plat popping soon I hope !
I'll also find a bit of time for Diablo 4 Veil of Hatred which is again another stunning expansion. I'll get hated for saying this but ActiBlizz having a good year with the quality of their output

How on earth can you call it crap, you have no idea. Just because it's 1st person doesn't make it a bad game. So are the Uncharted or Tomb Raider crap because they're only in 3rd person? Jeez man, play the game then you can have a relevant opinion

@Paramahansa yeah I think The Avengers story campaign is very good ! Just got sick of smashing crates etc. The multiplayer was ok too, in small doses, had some fun with the DLC characters

Really want to buy a PS5 Pro but my Mrs says she'll divorce me and take the kids.....rushes off to buy PS5 Pro....
Otherwise playing STALKER 2 on XBX. This is a seriously hardcore survival shooter that a lot of reviews don't seem to get ( Pure Xbox) ...yes it needs work but it's so immersive!
