Bought myself a PS Portal which is great now that I've sorted some connection issues out and im playing the brilliant Judgement and Crysis 3 Remastered - never thought id see the day that that game runs brilliantly on a handheld PS !

Don't let these bugs put you off. I've played STALKER 2 3 times on XBX, currentlyon my 4th...its a fantastic game. Its bloody hard on normal mode, God only knows how hard Master mode will be. Its an old school hardcore PC survival shooter that is utterly compelling if you buy into Its systems. Play it like a Stalker - scavenging for resources, food, ammo and fighting for survival. Its not an RPG but play it like one, you'll have a blast- if you "get it".

So i started Black Ops 7 on GP - and it really as bad as everyone says. Truly awful. Dull even. After playing BF6 non stop, even the multiplayer is bad in comparison with its bigger than usual maps for just 6v6 players. A terrible game. The campaign is like Time Crisis without the light gun. And I've played every CoD game since the first on PC back in the day. Avoid.
I also finished Ninja Gaiden 4 on XBX - very good, old fashioned PS2 style of game. Im not ashamed to admit that I had to beat the 3 end bosses on Hero mode - hey, im old, im not the gamer I used to be !
Im also trying to clear my backlog so im on the very enjoyable Star Wars Squadrons on PS4.

@Balaam_ ......imagine being "literally forced" to play a game just to get 100% completion. Gaming should be an enjoyable hobby - you make it sound like a horrible job

The game is nearly 5 years old. Can't expect them to work on it forever - it's a business that employs people at the end of the day ! Hell, CoD and FIFA games from 2 yrs ago are dropped and unsupported. I don't think the devs did themselves any favours with a 10 yr plan though - not even Destiny managed that.
The campaign was good, tho I don't really think an open world suited Halo. The multiplayer though is still fantastic and one of the best MP experiences around

@trymer89 loved Star Wars Outlaws - the DLC is great too if you do end up completing the game, it's well worth it

@Onearmbandit ...BF Redsec is superb. A bit overwhelming at first but stick with it. Even playing with random squads is great fun - plus you'll learn a lot that way. Enjoy !

After hearing so many good things, I've started Wuthering Waves only 2 hours in so far but looking great, looks like a keeper! I couldn't get into Genshin Impact at all.
More Battlefield 6 ...which gets better the more experienced you get, there's some brilliant emergent gameplay in the multiplayer, some hilariously so.
Started another run on the utterly brilliant STALKER 2 on XBX...i can't describe how much i love this game. A great old fashioned PC hardcore survival shooter. Im playing it again with a lot of mods enabled, kind of a fresh game.

@AverageGamer ...its hardly a sinking ship ! It has current subscribers of over 6 million, paying £10 per month. Its been going for over 20 years - it's never going to be as popular as when it had 13m subscribers but it's doing the numbers other MMOs would kill for

Can only go for the brilliant Battlefield 6 ... .not played any of the others yet. Tho GoY is ready to go and Outer Worlds 2 downloaded on GamePass

@Oram77 ...ha ha that was EXACTLY my experience with MH World. In the end I presumed I just didnt "get it" - chase a monster around and keep whacking it and errr thats it. I appreciate it's just not for me though

Killzone was never ever a Halo beater, didnt even come close ! The single player was merely ok but the multiplayer was great. Shadowfall was very poor though so fans thinking Killzone should resurface and be a CoD beater are living in cuckoo land

Mopping up ( i think ! ) the baffling but mind blowing Death Stranding on PS5.

Clair Obscur on GamePass. The world and monster design and general art direction in this game never fails to amaze me ! GOTY without doubt.
Hours to be played on Battlefield 6 ..Conquest mode is still the greatest multiplayer mode ever known to man. Brilliant.
Also trying to crack on in the amazing Ass Creed Shadows ..a 1000 times better than Valhalla

Only Battlefield 6 on XBX ALL weekend, 24/7....put a few hours in so far and loving it. And jeez, it is brutal! Im a seasoned player on every iteration since 1942, and this is unforgiving and it's brilliant for it. Not touched the campaign and probably never will. Had no bugs, no "server queues" at all. Im looking forward to see how the game evolves.

Nobody buys Battlefield for the campaign surely ? The previous campaigns were mediocre at best, not that I ever finished one.
Multiplayer only for me, this one looks like a return to form

Being blown away still by Clair Obscur Expedition 33 on GamePass (sorry 😅) a game fully deserving it's reputation. Utterly brilliant.
More Tempest Rising on PC - the best RTS in years, bringing the golden years back !
Going to restart and commit to System Shock 2 Remastered on PC - still one of the best games ever made.

@Northern_munkey I do buy digitally a lot, I will buy BF6 digitally but I'll hopefully persuade the wife to buy me it for Xmas ha ha.
But recently I've bought MGS 3 Delta, Silent Hill f physical special editions.
Pricing hasn't really bothered me before but even im holding back and refusing!

As good a game as Tsushima was, it was faaarrr from being perfect. Repetitive open world filler - fox shrines and random duels im looking at you - and even downright boring and dull in places. Fantastic looking game though. I'll play Yutei eventually when I've cleared my huge backlog a bit

@nessisonett ...Hi. Have you found buying current gen games, with prices creeping up around £70+ has affected your purchases much ? Are you buying a lot less than before ?
I've been lucky so far in being able to purchase a lot of games Day 1 and using GamePass a LOT, but even im looking at Ghost of Yotei and BF6 with their prices and thinking "SCREW THAT, NOT A CHANCE"

Two amazing games that ive been looking forward to start on the go this weekend - Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty on PS5, just as brilliant as the main game. I think I'll literally replay these games forever. I have a new favourite pistol that talks to me eg. when I reload it says "ah thanks, choom!".....that will NEVER get old 😅
Plus I finally started the utterly brilliant Clair Obscur Expedition 33 on GamePass. Been holding off but this game thoroughly deserves its reputation- i didnt think it would be THIS good ! Only just finished the early Flowing Waters level ...this will certainly be GOTY I'm sure. Brilliant.

Back into Diablo 2 Resurrected still a wonderful game and so much more hardcore than 3 or 4. Even navigation is difficult!
Hoping to finally finish and mop up Death Stranding then onto the 2nd. A masterpiece of a game.

@Jammer this game is leagues ahead of Resistance - i played both on release and the first Resistance FOM is utter ***** in comparison. And this was out way earlier
