I can see digital resales working by letting the original owner set the resale price. If I’m happy to let go of my digital copy of Arc Raiders for £5 then I’ll sell it before someone who’s offering it up for £6. The devs can get an x% cut and you also never have to worry about the condition of the game either.

And to everyone saying Sony just cares about maximising profits.. well of course, it’s a business what do you expect.

Personally, using a discs is a pain in the arse which is why I only have one, given to me as a gift. Can’t wait for this to all die down.

On 16th October I’ll just play any of the other myriad of CODs that have come before. They’re now so forgettable it’ll be just like I’m playing a brand new game again.

@Art_Vandelay great, thanks for the info. I bought the game when it came out and completed the ‘story’ but never went beyond that. I’m not one for grinding or paying real money for currency so good to see it not too much of a chore.

Possibly a stupid question but do you need to buy all these new cars that get released with in-game currency, or are they just available to pickup and drive?

What were some of the issues in the original that have been acknowledged by the devs and fixed in the remake?

This was my first game on the PS4 so excited to replay it after all these years.

Me and 3 friends are ploughing through Div 1 every Sunday night having run out of decent multiplayer games we all get on with. The 60fps update was a very welcome surprise. Would love to see more content though we’re nowhere near completing it.

I told my brother to get his kids a PS5 instead of a Switch for Christmas on the strength of there being decent games on PS+ all the time. This hasn’t helped my case.

MS Flight Simulator

Didn’t realise solos get placed with other solos (but not guaranteed). That’s how I play most of the time and it’s been incredibly refreshing not to get into a gunfight at the first sign of other players. It’s much less hostile than other games.
The price of skins is immaterial to me - never gonna buy one.

Sad for the studio but Just Cause 4 lost the plot and got too carried away with gimmicks (e.g. weather systems). I’d be happy with a remake of JC 3 - one of my all time favourite games.

Don’t play Fortnite but thought about getting the characters for my daughter who is into the film…. £27.99! Nope.

It’s a bit fiddly but replacing the battery on the current controllers takes all of 10 minutes and costs around £8-£20 depending on the capacity of battery you want to get.

Day 1 or 360ish (depending on how you look at it) for me.

@Westernwolf4 Same. For some reason 2 just didn’t click like the first one and I gave up on it after a while. Hard to pinpoint what it was but didn’t have the same… something.

I don’t have a gaming PC so mouse support for 7 Days to Die would be very welcome.

I preordered it and I’m a little disappointed. It’s just a big, expensive DLC. New levels but zero addition to the game mechanics. Even the character models of the Germans look identical.

I love these games and have put in countless hours, but seriously, how can the characters still look this bad?

If flight sim comes to PlayStation, I can finally close that tab on the MS website hovering around the buy now button of an Xbox. Happy days.

I fancied playing hitman 3 last night and being one of the very few PlayStation 5 games I actually own on disk, having the disc drive whir up and make a terrible noise throughout the game was very very distracting.

I’m pleased - it looked decent in the trailers but they can be deceiving. Will probably pick it up when it comes to the PlayStation.
