Didn’t realise solos get placed with other solos (but not guaranteed). That’s how I play most of the time and it’s been incredibly refreshing not to get into a gunfight at the first sign of other players. It’s much less hostile than other games.
The price of skins is immaterial to me - never gonna buy one.

Sad for the studio but Just Cause 4 lost the plot and got too carried away with gimmicks (e.g. weather systems). I’d be happy with a remake of JC 3 - one of my all time favourite games.

Don’t play Fortnite but thought about getting the characters for my daughter who is into the film…. £27.99! Nope.

It’s a bit fiddly but replacing the battery on the current controllers takes all of 10 minutes and costs around £8-£20 depending on the capacity of battery you want to get.

Day 1 or 360ish (depending on how you look at it) for me.

@Westernwolf4 Same. For some reason 2 just didn’t click like the first one and I gave up on it after a while. Hard to pinpoint what it was but didn’t have the same… something.

I don’t have a gaming PC so mouse support for 7 Days to Die would be very welcome.

I preordered it and I’m a little disappointed. It’s just a big, expensive DLC. New levels but zero addition to the game mechanics. Even the character models of the Germans look identical.

I love these games and have put in countless hours, but seriously, how can the characters still look this bad?

If flight sim comes to PlayStation, I can finally close that tab on the MS website hovering around the buy now button of an Xbox. Happy days.

I fancied playing hitman 3 last night and being one of the very few PlayStation 5 games I actually own on disk, having the disc drive whir up and make a terrible noise throughout the game was very very distracting.

Finally managed to log in, but my favourite game is “ error decoding lambda response: error decoding lambda response: unexpected end of JSON input” apparently.
Don’t recall that one.

I’m pleased - it looked decent in the trailers but they can be deceiving. Will probably pick it up when it comes to the PlayStation.

That unexpected PS1 start screen just brought a tear to my eye. Love it.

I got sent a long questionnaire from Rockstar last night asking about opinions on GTA online. Clearly gathering feedback for what to do in 6.

I like the UX of the ‘move’ function. Very nicely designed and implemented.

7 Days to Die

I love and hate that game.

Managed to bag a controller but it had me sweating when I needed to log into PS Direct about 8 times!

I had to restart the tree trunk level as I had 2 music tracks playing simultaneously and the enemies up in the sky were glitching out. Thought I was going nuts for a moment.

@BolkaRover Nope, Timesplitters was one of the first games I bought on the PS2 and I suspect I’m probably older than you. It’s called having an opinion.
Edit: “ I’m 40 and don’t have time to play that often…” I was right.

Would give me left leg for it to be Flight Simulator. It won’t be, but you can hope.

Was discussing it with a friend who had played it too. We both agreed we couldn’t think of a single new thing it brought to the table. It’s ok, just the same as all the others.

Will stick with the OG Wii Sports tennis till the price comes down.

@SJR too true. I’ve been playing online with the same 3 mates for nearly 2 decades and it’s hard work to convince them all to shell out £70 on a new title that might be crap. This was a far easier sell.
