Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 502

@rusty82 playing Assassin’s Creed too. It was very slow to start but I’m getting into it now. Hopefully complete the story today.

Then praying, though very unlikely the new Humans Fall Flat level makes it to the PS5 and can have some fun with friends.

And finally figuring out how to remove all remnants of ***** Modern Warfare 3 that seems to have installed itself and used most of any remaining disc space I once had.

Re: Talking Point: How Often Do You Use PS5's New UI Features?

JimmyRiddle

I have never used the cards and now seem to get 'banner blindness' from them where I instinctively ingore them.

My biggest gripe by far of the new UI is not being able to put the PS5 to sleep without having to look at the screen. On the PS4 you could hold down the PS button and press X twice and it was off. One the PS5, the selected item on that bottom row of icons is always different so you can't intuitively / blindly go to the power settings. It's a small thing but pissed me off every time.

@Elodin JC3 was just fun and quite tongue in cheek in its story and gameplay. 4 took itself a bit too seriously and the map was just a bit cold, dark and depressing - a bit like how GTA 4 felt in comparison to others. Also the missions we're really boring and repetitive. The only plus point I would give 4 is that the load times were much better and should be great on a PS5.

Re: Weirdly, a PS5 Bug Is Causing the Blu-ray to Spin Every Hour

Happened to me last night playing GTA V online for a few hours. Thought it was the PlayStation checking the correct disc was still in the machine.

I can see why it would... back in the early 2000s we used to be able to get 6 Macs on a LAN to all run Medal of Honour by force ejecting the disc after it had loaded and sharing between housemates!

Re: Watch Dogs Legion (PS5) - Bland Open-Worlder at Least Looks and Runs Better

I've only played about 2 hours of it so far, but it feels a bit claustrophobic compared to WD2 - the tall buildings make everything feel very enclosed.

Combat is a bit annoying too - when you're in a scrap and you need to flee in a car, triangle throws an uppercut instead of opening the car door. I'll obviously give it more time but I don't have that "must continue playing it now" feeling I got with the second.
