It sold out twice for a fee hours each in UK for the standard.

I wanted 30th console, but was sold out by the time I got in. Happy with the standard Pro and 30th Dualsense to get instead 🙌🏻

When you consider that the Series S is outselling X at 3:1 too, the figure of PS5 is even scraier in difference with the competition.

Fold them in house at Guerilla/Bungie.

Get them supporting on Marathon or working on Killzone revival.

I’m not a PC nerd either, I have a gaming laptop that has been used once in 5 years and that was for a week long Sims 4 binge and a failed attempt at installing Battlefront 2 mods.

I’ve been playing consoles since 1996.

You are ignoring all the costs of developing and shipping this machine across greatly varying global markets. With no account for inflation or the fact that gaming is a luxury hobby.

This is not a console for the general consumer, its for people who want more from their console, like they would a PC when upgrading parts.

Gaming is a luxury hobby. That can come with a cost, of which the PS5 Pro does.

Sony rarely sells consoles at a profit. And no doubt they aren’t making any here either or at least very little.

I’m sure if PS6 is £1000 it’ll still sell a ton no doubt.

The problem is for some reason people act like video games aren’t a luxury hobby, when they are.

Some of the same complainers will happily by a new phone every year or two despite minimal upgrades.

If the console is too expensive for you, then maybe it isn’t for you.

PS4 Pro wasn’t for everyone, and still sold well. Same will happen for the PS5 Pro.

I’ve enjoyed playing the campaign early in the past few years and getting it done before Multiplayer goes live so i’m ready for day 1.

Absolutely on board if its good.

We already get a new Yakuza almost every year, sometimes 2 in 1.

So having a game I can play on the go too will be great.
