Cross Code is excellent, people brushing it off far too easy as normal.

For The King 1 was decent too, never got around to the second game.

MW3 is the only L here.

@Weebleman the link will be this page when it’s edited or the newer article for clicks.

The “trust me bro” is insider info from Arkane itself, so no link to send.

@Weebleman more news has come out, studio and game are safe.

They’ll update the article shortly with my “Trust me bro” source 👍🏻

Don’t believe everything you read in this article.

Source inside says all is not what it seems.

Was never intended for this year at all and is not over budget, very much misreported.

I look forward to this article being updated soon with correct info.

Hopefully that's the end of the staggered drop test nonsense.

So basically, people are making negative assumptions about what was actually said...shock.

People seem to believe AI is entirely a bad thing, whether through pure stupidity or blatant ignorance, and ignore how it's been used in games for a very long time.

I played the s**t out of the Linkin Park pack on Beat Saber, but haven’t made the jump to PSVR2 yet.

Going to invest around Christmas/New Year so will definitely pick this up 🙌🏻

@get2sammyb you guys going to cover this?
Not desperately trying for early access are we by not covering it - not meaning to question integrity but it’s a little off at this point.

I really do question what clown(s) signed off on this idea.

Experiment or not, this had L written all over it.

@Toot1st it's been a week and this story has developed further. And the new info/situation actually makes your response even more silly.

GG.

Can’t be played on PS5 so should have the PC tag no?

Not a chance if the DLC is separate.

@CheesyOatcake been maybe 4 or 5 GTA articles now i’ve put the same comment and they’re saying nothing.

As a UK website, it’s not only concerning that it’s not being covered but it’s disappointing too.

”Here’s his response in full, as translated by ChatGPT”

PushSquare uses AI but runs articles against use in video games, SHUT THEM DOWN 😡

If they have lots of staff booking it off already, rather than annoy people by rejecting holiday requests, makes sense to close for the day and keep staff happy.

I've already booked the 19th & 20th off for a long weekend, my manager just laughed when the request/dates came through.

@1UP-HUSKY GTA V did, I don't see why this will be any different.

@awp69 they close the studio, Xbox loses money.

They get someone to buy the studio from them, Xbox gets money.

I think there is a problem, cause Xbox don't give af about the staff.

@sup3r1or you had me on board until that last sentence.

@cburg same for you as above.

@Toot1st even trying to compare the two brands here is incredibly uneducated.

You can show yourself out.

Xbox really are a**holes.

More and more each day I wish they’d just die already and be a full time publisher.

Destroyed so much of the industry in the last few years and i’m tired of people not acknowledging it.

They don’t deserve a second chance.

@Toot1st in regards to exclusivity conversations and new inbound changes (we’ll see) to the Xbox platform, it is.

@termiki we’ll see when the sales figures get released…which we won’t see from Xbox cause they don’t sell games…

Ironically, this will sell better on PS than Xbox.

@Jmerbaugh you been in a coma bro hahaha

The problem is that Xbox has trained it's players not to buy games.

If something is available on GamePass day 1 and you can pay a decent flat fee for a year, and get 'unlimited' games with it, you're not going to drop £60/£70 on a new title - outside of subscription.

Xbox killed itself.

I like this attitude, but if people are buying a ton of games in August, September and then GTA in November, unless PBZ is their top billing, it'll likely suffer.

I dunno, for me i'll be getting Zero Company, Wolverine and then GTA - everything else will have to wait.

So now they need PlayStation more than ever to keep the money rolling in from their cut from game sales...

Yeah let's make games exclusive to Xbox again 🥴

hard to imagine mass audiences can afford [spending] thousands [of dollars] on consoles” and that “we’ll see radically different business models later this year”

So this is basically conforming that Helix was over £1000/$1000 right?

@Skinny-Pete Ben mate, because they'd be casting an white Englishman who isn't Muslim to play Mo.

@Skinny-Pete I look forward to the outrage over his skin colour, religion and background 😂

Maybe the film will be good now.

For me, i'll basically be one per month with GTA in November:

August - Star Wars Zero Company (not listed in poll btw)
September - Wolverine
October - COD MW4

The absolute GOATED era of Call of Duty, unfortunately impossible to replicate now.

MW2, B01, MW3, B02 - just an unreal run of games.

Bit of an overblown, non issue this isn't it.

Why do you need 3rd Party exclusive relationships when your competition is already dead?

Just wasting money at that point when the game will sell with you anyway and GTA is a different conversation entirely.

@8th_Observer and I was right.

3/4 weeks later, buried during 'E3' week, this changes absolutely nothing 🤣

What a foolish comment.

@AdamNovice and I think you may be part of the problem.

I mean it's not the end of the world really.

Sony will have the data that likely shows something and they're going forward with an exclusive window.

No doubt this has happened before but wasn't picked up on.

Deserve shutting down just for their website alone 😅

https://acyntha.com/

@AdamNovice 2 weeks is a bit extreme though.

Regardless, i've said what I said and didn't stutter.

@AdamNovice Sony own Alamo Drafthouse so securing cinemas won't be an issue, same for selling tickets.

Probably cause they announced it two weeks early (to drown out controversy around account vulnerability) and announced presence in cinemas to further hype it up.

Further to that, anything made using AI will be "replaced or refined", so the amount of AI stuff in the final game is likely to be very minimal.

The wording of "will" and tense of the sentence is incorrect here based on the Steam details quote.

Also, I see no issue with this use of AI.

This looked great, but i'd rather that cancelled space game have been revived under Cory.
