The hate the game gets is largely overblown due to sad and hateful crybabies. With any genuine criticisms often drowned out.

I’d argue it’s better than the first game which is some feat in itself.

PS6 will be a games console, straight up.

Xbox is dying and has to switch motivations, PS can stay true and still dominate as always.

For those interested, the Closed Beta is not for PS4 and PS5.

Honestly the scene was awful in the show, unnecessary and confusing.

A lot of choices made in the show have been done to make it unquestionably clear to the viewer what’s happening. This scene was purely put in to show that WLF had attached the Seraphite island, assuming you was too stupid to figure it out earlier.

As someone who did want one, it does everything it said it would and more.

Backwards compatibility, although it would be nice and probably should just be mandatory at this point, isn’t as big a deal as people think.

@KundaliniRising333 Sony know when GTA is releasing, Borderlands and Yotei have been placed perfectly to avoid its impact.

EA completely screwed Respawn from the launch of Titanfall 2, it’s been an uphill battle ever since.

Respawn dies because of EA’s greed.

The episode from a TV POV was excellent.

From a game comparison POV it’s really not good at all.

They’ve made significant changes in this episode that will drastically alter the story from the game - Dina/Tommy swap and the whole Jackson section to name just two.

@naruball fair point, but it still ultimately changes the story significantly.

The thing is as gamers, the idea was that we had no idea if the cure would have actually worked. So whether we agreed with Joel or not, it was always a risk to begin with.

Neil made this an issue by saying years after the games release, that a cure would have 100% worked had Ellie been sacrificed. Which is something I don’t feel he should ever have confirmed.

No doubt some entitled buffoon will be along shortly to say it’s been a shocking year of poor titles.

I thought it was common knowledge that Naughty Dog had 3 games in development:

Intergalactic (unnamed at the time)
Factions (in limbo at the time)
Unknown/unannounced game.

Seems obvious this is the case.
