@ShogunRok You can do articles saying how the game is much better than it's original release, but redoing the review for a game that in many ways is broken and unfinished, is a very bad call imo.
Great that the developer is pumping out fixes and updates quickly, but that doesn't justify that they purposely released this despite knowing the issues already.
You didn't go back and re-review Cyberpunk (PS5 version doesn't count), why should this be any different.
@Stocksy at what point of my comment was I justifying any of it?
I was simply saying that crunch in one industry isn't a unique thing, it happens all over the world and we aren't rewarded as significantly.
The pay I received at the water company was poor and not even close to being worth the stress of those deadlines I mentioned, not to mention the dreadful management and countless other issues.
Nobody is justifying poor company practices, but to continue reporting on crunch like it's unique to just video games, while ignoring the clear difference in reward from said crunch, is arguing in a vacuum.
And that's not a dig a PushSquare for reporting on it, it's their job. But this conversation is just getting really old and its coming from a place of ignorance.
I'm tired of this constantly coming up like crunch isn't a thing inside and out of the gaming industry.
They make it seem like they don't get huge bonuses when the game drops, or that they're not getting paid great salaries, or compensating overtime.
I worked for a water utility company in the UK who had ridiculous internal deadlines everyday that influenced external bonuses for the company. If you missed these deadlines, the company risked fines from OFWAT in the tens of millions and would just lay off it's staff.
Anyone working in the real world knows this is just life.
I think the highlight around the 100% game looks daft in all honesty, at least from the image above.
It would be cool if the background had a different colour, or maybe gets filled with some art from the game once at 100%/Platinum, to make it stand out significantly amongst the rest.
I like the trophy system as it is personally, and use PSN Profiles for anything more nitty gritty.
I think people really have no idea how much information very dangerous companies already have on them.
Literally one person is going to get this opportunity so this is being greatly blown out of proportion.
It's already been mentioned about 2K and face scans, this is just the next level. And ultimately, if you care that much, then you'll read the T's & C's or even pay for a lawyer if you win to make sure they don't do anything you aren't happy with.
He said he was working on it from 2016, but the pandemic and increased funding would only come in late 2020/2021.
"Sony decided to put a lot of money into online gaming like everyone else was. That's part of why The Last of Us Multiplayer got funding, we got off the ground and we made a lot of progress, and the game was doing really, really well internally".
@Oram77 tbf there is no way MAPPA should take on anymore properties. Already got too many and leaving lots unfinished, plus apparent sh*tty working conditions.
All the games that I want are on my wishlist, and when I get notification that they are on sale, I check my price and also the general 'online signed out' prices too.
Moving forward it'll significantly change my spending, especially if we're talking double digit differences in pricing.
Since when do we believe anything that Xbox says, have we forgot about this entire console generation?
The two companies will operate independently of each other. PlayStation is no longer in direct competition of Xbox, certainly not with their overly expensive PC box their creating.
PS6 will drop when Sony/PlayStation thinks it's best for them, Xbox can do as they please because these are two different markets now.
@Boxmonkey i'm going off the information consistently being provided by Moore's Law and how Sony have bought large amounts of stock in advance across all components, most importantly the RAM.
Considering his track record, who are we as nobodies to question with zero resources or insider info ourselves?
I love the second paragraph of defending Grubb as a leaker cause you know everyone hates him and he's wrong more than right - Mr Shotgun Blast Predictions 😂

Ah yes, all to "protect the children".
Re: Random: Lana Del Rey Papped Buying a PS5 Ahead of Her 007 First Light Appearance
British article on a British website by a British writer using a British word in “papped”.
PushSquare is back baby!
Re: Poll: Do Crimson Desert's PS5 Patches Put Other Devs to Shame, or Is the Game Simply Unfinished?
@gamer153 no, there shouldn't be a re-review at all.
Re: PS Plus Extra Games for April Leak Ahead of Official Announcement
Great selection as always.
Will be looking to give Football Manager a go for sure, absolutely positive I can do better the Slot.

Re: Naughty Dog Embraced Crunch Culture After The Last of Us, as It's 'What It Takes to Make Games at Our Level'
@Stocksy yeah I think you've entirely missed my point twice.
But that's fine, I wish we live in the world you're describing. Unfortunately it's imaginary and won't ever exist.

Re: Our Hype for Samson on PS5 Crashes as GTA-Like Gets Slammed by Reviews
@Llamageddon this game always looked too good to be true imo.
I never understood why PushSquare was hyping it so much.

It''s funny cause these games are more real that Artemis actually going to space.

Re: Our Hype for Samson on PS5 Crashes as GTA-Like Gets Slammed by Reviews
pretends to be shocked
Always have to take these games with a pinch as they come across too good to be true.
The Day Before being the last notable example that looked great and completely bottled it.
Re: 'Who on Earth Would Want This?': Almost 90% of PS5 Fans Not Interested in New 'Playerbase' Program
Another massively overblown conversation to drive hate towards the brand.
It's a voluntary, opt-in competition - nobody is forcing you into it.
Embarrasing.

Re: Everyone's Talking About DriveClub Again, PS4's Underappreciated Racer
DriveClub redeemed itself so significantly after launch.
Genuinely one of the best games on PS4.
Re: The Last of Us Multiplayer Was 80% Complete Before Cancellation, Spent 7 Years in Development
His timeline doesn't add up.
So for 4/5 years there was no funding?

A UK based article in £££'s about price increases on PushSquare?!
Re: Remember When Call of Duty Said Its New Skins Would Be Sensible? Well, Here's Dave Chappelle
If you really thought they'd stick to what they said, you're an idiot.
Honestly surprised it took this long, I won't be buying the pack but for those who will, enjoy I guess.
Re: 'It Wasn't a Live Service Game': Shuttered Sony Studio Teases Scrapped PS5 Project
@Boomers-r-us why couldn't it have been?
I bet The Last of Us Online was 'one helluva of a game', but different circumstances resulted in its cancellation.
What an oddly misinformed comment you have made 🤔
Re: Despite PS5 Hits, Sony Sinks to 21st in Metacritic's Publisher Rankings
Should also stop using Metacritic.
Use Opencritic.
Re: PS4 Police Game Battlefield Hardline to Be Delisted from PS Store in May
I stand by this being a good entry in the franchise tbh.
Having Battlefield 4 from 2014 and Black Ops 3 in 2015 alongside Hardline presented 3 solid multiplayer games with different spins.
We ate well that year but entitled, undeserving cry babies will say otherwise.
Re: 'We'll Still Release on Switch, Xbox, and Steam': Dev Responds to Delisting as Sony Axes 1,000s More PS5, PS4 Games from PS Store
@Bracing_space I have way more options than just these two.
A-Z, Z-A, Price low to high, Price high to low, Most Downloaded, Best Selling, Release old to new, Release New to Old and Default.
And then a ton of filters to go with it.
Literally no idea what you and the people who liked your comment are talking about tbh.

Hopefully it’s the real Jim Carrey and not whatever that impersonator was 😂
Jokes aside (maybe not 😬), can’t wait for Sonic 4.
Re: Nvidia Says You're All 'Completely Wrong' About Its Controversial AI Upscaler DLSS 5
@get2sammyb probs should just be under the PC tags you guys have, not PS5.

@LowDefAl disc? What’s that?
I’ve been digital for so long I never even thought about the disc size 😭
Re: PS Portal Gets Even Better with New Firmware Update, Improved Visuals and Enhanced Cloud Streaming
Genuinely one of my favourite devices, such a solid bit of kit.
Re: Death Stranding 2 Adds Cut Content, New Mode, Videos in Big PS5 Update
I think some further reporting into the issue of "storage limits" may be required here, because wtf do that mean?
Re: Poll: Has PS5's Dynamic Pricing Debacle Changed Your Relationship with the PS Store at All?
Definitely changes things.
All the games that I want are on my wishlist, and when I get notification that they are on sale, I check my price and also the general 'online signed out' prices too.
Moving forward it'll significantly change my spending, especially if we're talking double digit differences in pricing.

Re: 'No One Is Buying This on PS5': PC Port Begging Already Unbearable as Sony Switches Strategy
Oh no, the 20 people who were going to buy it on PC are taking a stand.
This could bankrupt PlayStation! Quick, greenlight more live service games!

Re: PS6 Rival Xbox Helix Could Cost as Much as $1,200
@Boxmonkey Moore's Law has already said he expects it to be same price that PS5 launched at - even Pro price match would be lower that £800.
I think predicating anything over £700 is ridiculous tbh.
Re: 'I'm Pro Sex Minigames': Former God of War Dev Backs PS5 Trilogy Remake to Keep Controversial Minigames
Tbf Jaffe also said the same about the sex scenes and named the women who worked on it.
Though I guess Jaffe only gets reported on when it's negative :/
Re: Your Latest Look at Forza Horizon 6 Is So Tame It'd Put Your Driving Instructor to Sleep
@LogicStrikesAgain making an article basically saying nothing while taking jabs about Forza gameplay basically showing nothing.
If you can’t see the irony then i’m afraid it’s too late for you and those who liked your comment.
Re: Your Latest Look at Forza Horizon 6 Is So Tame It'd Put Your Driving Instructor to Sleep
Such an ironic article, complains about something "so tame", yet proceeds to write and publish a 223 word piece about it 😂
IGN with the tame video 🤝🏻 PushSquare with the hypocrisy
Re: Flog Mouth-Watering Egg Sandos in This Cosy Konbini Sim on PS5
@RadioHedgeFund ain't nobody saying "sarnies" within 100 miles mate - it's full "sandwich" or where I am it's "butties" 😂
Re: 'What the F*ck Is This?': God of War Creator Hates First TV Show Image
@LiamCroft I mean yes the image is “real” as it exists.
But is it actually from the show or a mock up/concept?
We’ll revisit in a few days
Re: 'What the F*ck Is This?': God of War Creator Hates First TV Show Image
@LiamCroft the image is fake btw, the guy playing Kratos pretty much confirmed it.

Re: Marvel's Wolverine PS5 Release Date Announced
Something isn’t right with the way this was announced.
Skipped State of Play only to drop a 5 second trailer of nothing with a date?
A distraction from Bluepoint maybe?
Re: Craving Classic Castlevania? Saint Slayer Hits PS5, PS4 This April
@get2sammyb i'm not tbh. I find it difficult to get into side scrollers in general mainly because i'm just comically bad at them.
The only ones i've really enjoyed was Strider (2014) and Velocity 2X (one of my all time favourite game weirdly).
I much prefer more chilled, story centric side scrollers like Gris and Oxenfree.
Re: Craving Classic Castlevania? Saint Slayer Hits PS5, PS4 This April
This definitely isn't for me but I own every Lillymo game and will always support anything LSM.
Colin noted it'll only be £10 too.
Re: First PS Plus Essential Game for March 2026 Leaked Early
Very happy with this.
Platinumed EA Sports PGA Tour from PSPlus Extra over the course of 3 months, great in-between/short play game.
The 2K versions are always solid and same vibe too so looking forward to this.
