Not sure why people are being so negative about this. It's not like this pops up on your screen without warning and forces you to read.
It's one of thousands of 'From PlayStation' notifications sent over the years that can only be viewed if you look at your notifications specifically, and even then you can just delete without reading.
They've did it in the past for new releases, DLC's drops, hints and tips, plus when State of Play or Showcases have been scheduled.
Really not a big issue and little babies are complaining even when it's not relevant to them and/or they're not even on PS4 anymore.
.....and we're back with the entitled babies in the comment section. Welcome back everyone.
Played the full game trial on PSPlus for this when it originally released and it was great fun, a nice callback to the Fight Night days.
Wasn't enough for me to purchase at full price with playing many other games at the time, but more than happy to get this for "free", great first game for February.
@LifeGirl this is actually such a ridiculous comment.
'The game looks literally the same as the old one does once you've downloaded hundreds of gigabytes of mods, that were specifically made for the purpose of making the game look more modern/next gen, on a PC the vast majority can't afford'.
Genuinely laughable when both games can be viewed side by side from trailers.
From an accessibility standpoint this is an amazing idea.
From a general standpoint, it's bad in terms of people abusing the feature and not actually playing games, plus it could cheapen trophy hunting.
Though as someone who has been asked to beat levels for friends in the past, in person and through remote play, and also asked a friend to play the spider sections of Hogwarts for me, I can also see the benefits there.
This issue with Call of Duty is that they are all the same every year now, and the campaign are incredibly mid.
They have lost the yearly cycle of engines/setting were Infinity Ward (MW), Treyarch ( and even Sledgehammer at the end before merge all had games that felt different.
For campaigns, the narrative is no longer planned out. Rather than multi game storytelling, they're just making it off the cuff when the next game comes along. It's why MW 2019 was so unbelievably good as a reboot for the MW series, but MW2 and MW3 were diabolically bad - they gave up after two poo-stain games with Cold War and Vanguard
I haven't played the campaign yet which is strange in itself, as normally the first thing I do every year, and I think 6/7 would be reasonable before the campaign.
So if the campaign is as bad as people are saying, a 5/6 sounds about right.
Boycotts like the one surrounding this game are always really dumb.
Why punish a studio with hundreds of employees over once clown, yet when studios hammer crunch and are known for bad practices e.g. Ubisoft, people turn a blind eye.
Oh, and you still by your consoles and accessories made in sweat shops in China made by slaves :/
Glad the game was successful and can't wait to play once i've trudged through my backlog a little more.
@AhmadSumadi crazy right! Baiting you into the article like that's the only reason for review bombing, then burying some of the actual main criticisms.

@KundaliniRising333 yet cared enough to stop and comment...interesting 🤔
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for February 2026 Announced
Another excellent month, can’t wait to play these.

Avoid spoilers, or an extra month of development time?
Let’s use our brains people.
Re: PS5 Fans Just Can't Wait to Play Xbox's New Fable Game
Pending delay to 2027 for sure, the frame rate at two points of the trailer was awful.

Re: Big Yakuza Kiwami 3 Demo Beats Down PS5 Tomorrow
@Themanhutch if you're on a desktop it's fine though mobile can be a bit ridiculous, especially with longer articles.
It'll never be as bad and unusable as IGN though, so I don't have issues with PS really.
Re: 'Could You Tell at the Time?': Ex-Producer Defends BioWare's Decision to Make ANTHEM
@JamesLimited5990 Bit of an L take because the market wasn't bloated when this game would have been conceived and launched.
Re: Yakuza's Makers Have Made Another Unforced Error
This really isn’t an issue, why are you making it a massive issue?
Bit of a nonsense article this tbh.
Re: Rumour: PS5 Pro's Big PSSR Update Releasing by March, Improves Graphics and Performance
@Rob3008 because they'd have to delay the Pro for over a year, which makes zero financial sense.
This update could actually drive more people towards either standard or Pro console who haven't already got them, so they get another boost of sales.
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for January 2026 Leaked
That's an excellent line-up.
Re: Hellblade Dev Plotting a More Gameplay Focused Successor, Presumably for PS5
Jez pointing out the obvious considering that was the main criticism from almost everyone who played the game

Re: Fortnite's South Park Collab Revealed, Brings Multiple Characters, Cartmanland, More
I'll unfortunately be falling for the Towlie sidekick and parting with my existing VBucks 😅
5 player squads is the most exciting part though as we always have to split 3/2 or one of us sit out completely when playing, so this is great news.

Double-edged sword this one.

My lord what a game that’d be 😍
Re: Vince Zampella, Call of Duty Co-Creator and Respawn Boss, Tragically Dies Aged 55
It's because of this man that I play games the way I do today.
MW2 specifically was revolutionary for me and my mates on the PS3, countless hours and memories spawned from that one game.
RIP 👑

Re: 2016's The Division Now Runs Smoother Than Ever on PS5
Now this is a Christmas surprise!!
I love The Division 1 and have been wishing for a 60fps update for years.
Now we just need AC Unity at 60fps and life will be perfect.
Re: This Is the New Voice of Lara Croft in the PS5 Era of Tomb Raider Games
What a shambolic and embarrassing little comment section this turn into cause of one person’s incredibly strange analysis of a VIDEO GAME.
Love all versions of Lara, killing everyone as she sees fit for her circumstances. Can’t wait to kill with this new and returning Lara too.
Anyway, i’m off to watch Season 2 of the Tomb Raider Netflix show ✌🏻
Re: Star Wars Racing Games Are Back in Galactic Racer, Out for PS5 in 2026
@charbtronic ...quickly followed by, "brilliant, can't wait to play", right?
Re: Poll: How Would You Rate The Game Awards 2025?
Nar people actually saying this was a mediocre show are insane.
This community is actually embarrassing ngl, proper entitled babies.
Re: PlayStation Winds Back Time with Awesome 30th Anniversary Watch Collection
These actually look decent, the inner child want the watch with the floating letters.
It's like those cheap hoop toss handheld thingies we had as kids off the local market 😂
Re: 'Deeply Concerning': GTA Dev's Alleged Union Busting Has Now Reached the UK Prime Minister
Trust me, Starmer doesn't care about this situation in the slightest, or the working man.
I do hope these sacked employees get the best outcome though, awful situation.

Re: 'The Franchise Has Not Met Your Expectations': Call of Duty Vows to Overdeliver After Black Ops 7 Misfire
@zhoont I get opinions are a thing but this is such a bad one 😂
COD4, MW2, MW3, BO1, BO2, WWII, MW (2019) were all better than this. It's good but lets be real.
Re: Hogwarts Legacy, Mortal Kombat Publisher Warner Bros Bought for $82 Billion by Netflix
That's one hell of a loan Netflix got from the bank - gonna be a long time before they pay that off :/

Re: Sony Accused of Using Generative AI Art for PlayStation Advent Calendar Promo
They've looked like this for years tbh - I do the German one every year.
It's really not that big a shock if you've been participating long enough, plus how can you prove it's AI?
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for December 2025?
Anyone saying it's a crap selection doesn't deserve games.
The entitled cry baby mob lives on.
Re: You Can Buy a Fully-Fledged PS5 for the Same Price as a Less Powerful Xbox Series S Right Now
@Oram77 "My only fear is what will be the price of a PS6 be, £550? 600? £700?"
You didn't specifically say whether you thought the prices were good or bad, but your sentence above literally suggests the latter.
PS3 was expensive for the time, but to compare the Sony of 20 years ago with today is misguided.
Re: You Can Buy a Fully-Fledged PS5 for the Same Price as a Less Powerful Xbox Series S Right Now
@Oram77 PS3 was 20 years ago, those prices you mentioned are completely reasonable for consoles in this climate.
Not trying to defend corporations from charging higher prices, but you have to be realistic.
Unfortunately something most people these days (at least in PushSquare comment sections) aren't capable of.
Re: Don't Forget, You Can Now Upgrade the 5-Year-Old One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 to PS5 for Free
Jewelry Bonney a favourite?
Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.

So if the campaign is as bad as people are saying, a 5/6 sounds about right.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 UK Sales Plummet 61% Compared to Black Ops 6
Call of Duty will always outsell "normal" games regardless, it's almost too big to fail.
The only thing that will stop Call of Duty is itself, and as long as they put out anything PAR or higher, they'll be fine.
Re: Here's Your First Look at Sony's Zelda Movie, Film Shots Revealed
I don’t see the issue tbh, they look perfectly fine.
The usual crying babies I guess 🤷🏻♂️

Re: Red Dead Redemption 1 Confirmed for PS5, Out 2nd December
@jerrylongbones don’t have an Xbox anymore. Sold it the moment I realised what a monumental waste if money is was and got all my money back.
Re: Red Dead Redemption 1 Confirmed for PS5, Out 2nd December
RDR coming to mobile phones whilst GTA IV is stranded on PS3 is actually disgusting.
Re: Somehow, We're Already on the Sixth Game in Milestone's RIDE Series
Great series of game tbf, seeing Guy Martin have an in-game model is brilliant - such a character.
Re: Rumour: Ubisoft Is Still Gunning for Live Service Success with New Multiplayer Shooter
I really wish they just continued development on The Division Heartland.
I feel that's a F2P game that would have hit for them.
Arc Raiders has filled the gap left by it's cancellation.

So unfortunately, they aren't going to care about a little video game being shut down.
Re: 'PS Portal Users Are More Engaged Than Non-Users': Sony's Hit Handheld Outperforms All Other Remote Play Methods

Genuinely couldn't recommend it enough. Used it all weekend with the footy on in the background.
Re: GTA 6 Delayed Again, Pushed Back to November 2026
