Re: This Is the New Voice of Lara Croft in the PS5 Era of Tomb Raider Games

What a shambolic and embarrassing little comment section this turn into cause of one person’s incredibly strange analysis of a VIDEO GAME.

Love all versions of Lara, killing everyone as she sees fit for her circumstances. Can’t wait to kill with this new and returning Lara too.

Anyway, i’m off to watch Season 2 of the Tomb Raider Netflix show ✌🏻

Re: 'The Franchise Has Not Met Your Expectations': Call of Duty Vows to Overdeliver After Black Ops 7 Misfire

Jacko11

This issue with Call of Duty is that they are all the same every year now, and the campaign are incredibly mid.

They have lost the yearly cycle of engines/setting were Infinity Ward (MW), Treyarch ( and even Sledgehammer at the end before merge all had games that felt different.

For campaigns, the narrative is no longer planned out. Rather than multi game storytelling, they're just making it off the cuff when the next game comes along. It's why MW 2019 was so unbelievably good as a reboot for the MW series, but MW2 and MW3 were diabolically bad - they gave up after two poo-stain games with Cold War and Vanguard

Re: Ghost of Yotei PS5 Sales Surpass 3.3 Million Units, Crush Boycott Nonsense

Jacko11

Boycotts like the one surrounding this game are always really dumb.

Why punish a studio with hundreds of employees over once clown, yet when studios hammer crunch and are known for bad practices e.g. Ubisoft, people turn a blind eye.

Oh, and you still by your consoles and accessories made in sweat shops in China made by slaves :/

Glad the game was successful and can't wait to play once i've trudged through my backlog a little more.

Re: Talking Point: Is PS5 Really in Competition with TikTok?

Jacko11

TikTok is every entertainment medium’s competition, because it’s a time distraction. The same way Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Netflix etc all are.

But people who want to buy and play games will do so, and that isn’t going to be affected by an app like TikTok.

Re: Sony's Social Media Tribute to the PS2 Borders on Insulting

I do genuinely wonder why everything is so negative sometimes.

Like is this article really required to try and drive more unnecessary hate for no reason.

A likely minimum wage employee on social media makes a quick little post of games to celebrate the 25th anniversary and it results in this.
