If you honestly don't believe Gamepass is a major part of the problem then i'm seriously concerned for your understanding of the industry from Xbox POV.

So many praised Gamepass, even on this site.

They even defended Xbox saying that it was profitable, when it never was.

Colin Moriarity from LSM stood firm on how this will damage the industry from day 1 and was blasted for it.

Gamepass saved Xbox for a few years, or at least on face value, whilst it slowly corrupted and decayed behind the scenes.

It was obvious from Day 1 what would happen, people just didn’t want to acknowledge it cause “CoNsUmEr FrIeNdLy” - well look now, it’s killed a large chunk of Xbox.

For multiplayer only/live service games, it shouldn’t really be an issue for anyone and PlayStation should look at multiplatform - if you think otherwise then you’re not educated on the industry enough.

As long as single player stays exclusive, its all good.

The price is already incredible in comparison to everything around it. The game literally comes priced at the same as some top PS3 games at launch over 15 years ago.
